-I booked a female dormitory and I was pleasantly surprised by the small number of beds, only 3, which is perfect as it preserves some privacy. - The room was super clean. - it is more a family pension, Mustafa ans his wife made sure everything was ok and were always so welcoming. - Possible to book activities though the hotel. - there is a fridge and wardrobe in the dormitory - the beautiful view from the terrace - nice decoration of the hotel

- I'm not fan of the shower, it is a sink with a hot and cold tap, that we need to open together to get the right temperature, then we take a plate in order to collect water from the sink and pour it on our body. I would have preferred a normal shower as it is not practical to manually pour water on our body - as many people wake up at 4am for the balloon, everyday during 6 days guest woke me up at 4am by talking loudly in the corridor or slamming their door. It would be great the day before the balloon, to tell guest to respect people's sleep when they wake up so early - a bit far from the centre (10 min) but it didn't bother me

room was nice, comfy beds, great spacious shower..everything was clean...breakfast was ok, classic offer, it was enough to start a day...no complain on anything regarding the accomodation

this doesn't affect my review but I need to say it..and I know that the owner is under any obligation to please us but here is the deal..first day we came around 8am and our departure was few days later at 6am..so I ask the owner if we could have some breakfast because we would not get any on last day, so for him no loss there...it would be human thing to do..long story short, he charge us 30 euros for food and didn't make us some breakfast boxes or anything the last morning..

This hotel is an outstanding value. The staff were excellent and helped me set up a tour, gave me good advice about what to do in town, and sent me a forgotten item when I left. They went above and beyond for me. I loved the view from the dining room on the top floor, particularly in the mornings where you can see most of the hot air balloons in the valley. There was easy access to tons of hiking trails and lots of restaurants. Wifi was good.

Sharing the dormitory room is always a bit challenging, but we made it work. I would have liked a real shower in dormitory bathroom and a strong vent. Otherwise, everything was great.

Little choice in the breakfast: no fruits, no good coffee..they had only instant coffee, no cereals, muesli. One of the reasons i chose them was also the shower but the one in our room didn't work all the way, only with the shower head..( the one above or the one's down for the massage couldn't be used, the button for it was missing). There was no space to put the shower items, we had to put them on the floor, the draining wasnt that good. Our "view" from the windows was a tree. We could hear the people in other rooms and outside the building. The Wi-Fi a lot of times lost signal even if the modem was in the room.

My experience at Sun Rise View could not have been better. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and quiet. The view of the Red and Rose Valleys was wonderful from the terrace. But, what makes the Sun Rise View Hotel stand out is the service. I cannot say enough about the exceptional help and kindness Mustafa and his family showed. They went above and beyond to help me with organising activities, assisting me with navigating the area, and I was able to have an early check in. I would highly recommend staying here.

There was nothing I would recommend changing.

This was our favorite place to stay in Turkey. We liked all aspects. Our room was spacious, comfortable and quiet; it also had a very nice view of the valley east of Goreme (in the morning you could see the balloons from the room or the terrace). The breakfast was fantastic, the best we had in our trip, prepared by the family who owns the place. There's also place to park your car in front of the hotel (if you are driving to Goreme, this is significantly easier than parking in the narrow streets of downtown Goreme; it's a quick 8-10 min walk from the hotel to downtown, which we did with no problem). But the highlight is probably Mr Mustafa, which is a fantastic host. He made us feel welcome and took care of any problems. One day there was an inconsiderate guest that was smoking in the room, which we could slightly smell from our room. Mr Mustafa found out who it was and asked them to follow the hotel policy of no smoking. It's very clear that he cares a lot about his guests and about the quality of his hotel.

The only thing that was not perfect was the shower. It has plenty of space and you can take a good shower, but the shower head is a little old and was lacking some pressure because the fitments were not that tight any longer. Certainly not a killer issue though, we would stay here again a million times.

It was my second time coming here. Mustafa and his family are still very friendly. I watched many balloons from the hotel terrace in the morning. The balloons take off very close to the hotel. You can see all the balloons. Not only the rooms, every part of the hotel is very clean. Mustafa does his job very well. My bed is very comfortable. The terrace is excellent. Mustafa arranged a greentour and horse tour for me. I was very pleased with both tours. It was very enjoyable to ride horses with the sunset. greentour was also very enjoyable. Especially the underground city and the restaurant the tour took were excellent. Mustafa was very helpful for these tours. I promised once again that I would come. And breakfast... have I ever had anything tastier? I don't know. The breakfast is very rich and delicious. Moreover, it is very satisfying. You should definitely try this breakfast on the terrace with a perfect view.

Awesome family owned hotel. The manager Mustafa and his son Ali and the whole family were great hosts for our stay and were welcoming from the time we arrived. The tours we wanted to-do were kindly arranged by Mustafa which was fantastic. Great location for all the sites in Cappadocia and only a few mins from the center but still away from all the noise. The actual balloons are only a stone throw's away from the hotel and the views from the hotel for the launch of the balloons as well as sunrise/sunset are spectacular. Turkish breakfast on the top of the terrace just topped of the great experience. Would highly recommend Sun Rise View Hotel for anyone visiting Göreme, Cappadocia.

The hotel is away from the two centre, which is a bit of a walk, but good if you want to be away from the noise. It is very close to CANCAN Cafe and Restaurant, which is one of the best restaurants in town. The owner is also very friendly. The hotel is a good location for viewing hot-air balloons along the main road.

The location is out of the town centre, which can be a bit troublesome if you have a lot of luggage. The nearest store to get stuff is also a bit of a walk away. Airport transfer by bus can be a hassle unless you have direct transfer (available from the hotel to Kayseri Airport).

Great location to view the balloons from. 10 mins walk to where most of the balloons launch from or view from the hotel. Great value for money. Tea/ coffee making facility in room. Good breakfast, even for vegetarian. Hospitable, and friendly owner / manger of hotel.

Tours sold by manager required Euros, not Turkish Lira, and the prices not as competitive compared to agents selling similar packages, including hot air ballooning. However no hard selling by manager.
