What an amazing hotel! Staff are so friendly and helpful - they’ll sort you out with an itinerary or a transfer and offer free services galore! The roof terrace is unbelievable - 360 degree views of the European and Asian sides, especially of the Blue Mosque! Stunning! The rooms are spotless and stylish. Blackout curtains left us sleeping very well, only to wake to an enormous offering for breakfast on the roof terrace. Bathroom had the BEST shower I’ve ever had in my life! Rooms were cleaned daily if required. It is so brilliantly located for everything you will want to see and the local restaurants are fab too. I will DEFINITELY be back to this amazing hotel in this amazing city! Lots more still to see and do!

We have felt at home in this hotel since the first day. Both Hakan and Selami are wonderful hosts. We were treated as if we were in a 5 star hotel. They were always available to answer our questions. Hakan even gave us itineraries every day to make sure we had a great experience in Istanbul. We were given a superior room with a balcony. Everything was very clean and comfy. A big plus: breakfast was included, which is on their beautiful rooftop, and consisted of all kinds of healthy and delicious options. Also, the snacks in the room were free. Also, the location is perfect, right around the corner from Ayasofya! I recommend this hotel without hesitation.

The stay itself was overall pleasant, with clean rooms and courteous staff. The hotel is conveniently located and the owner is very helpful. We appreciated the hospitality and had no major complaints.

However, we believe it’s important to point out a concerning practice we encountered before check-out: we were offered a taxi discount voucher on the condition that we leave a perfect 10/10 rating on Booking.com, Google and TripAdvisor. We think that this kind of incentive undermines the integrity of the review system and misleads future guests who rely on honest feedback. While our experience was certainly positive, it wasn’t a flawless 10.

This is my second time in Angel’s home, my previous arrival was in 2022. I really enjoy staying in this hotel as it’s a small building gives you this cosy feeling of home. The rooms got even better and are very well equipped. You practically have everything you need in the room (cotton discs, qtips, a razor ,a toothbrush and even slippers) which comes in handy when you travel with no luggage. The rooms are very clean and the area is full of restaurants, small souvenir shops that work until late, also practical if you have a late arrival. The breakfast is delicious and offers quite a variety of things. I totally recommend this hotel!

Angel's Home Hotel surprised me in all the best ways. The rooms were so clean I almost felt guilty walking in with shoes on - clearly, their housekeeping team is working some magic. The location couldn't be better: a short stroll to the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque, but far enough to dodge the usual tourist chaos. Breakfast was a delicious East-meets-West situation, and the biggest plot twist? The mini-fridge actually had free soft drinks. That's right-no 20-euro bottles of water here! I felt like royalty sipping my complimentary soda overlooking the city rooftops.

Plus, the breakfast spread was delicious, featuring a variety of traditional Turkish dishes. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that truly enhanced my visit to this vibrant city!

Super clean and well maintained, Angel's Home was an unexpected value. The breakfast spread was generous and delicious. The beds were very comfortable and the staff were pleasant and welcoming. Small snacks, instant coffee, and bottled water were thoughtfully provided in the rooms daily. Most of the major sights were within an easy 10-15 minutes of walking. The neighborhood itself was somewhat quiet and felt entirely safe. There are a number of good places to eat and a couple of small grocers within a 5 minute walk. We hope to return in the future.
