Received free room upgrade on arrival, nice view of Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and the sea from our balcony. Breakfast terrace has stunning views both at daylight and at night. Service at reception and during breakfast is outstanding. Housekeeping does a perfect job. If you want to have a relaxed stay at the core of the old city of istanbul, go here. We didn't even go to the spa, although we chose this hotel because it has a spa and gym available. There are so many options in Istanbul that makes it hard to chose. So - keep it simple, go for this one, because you won't regret it and you can fully focus on your stay at this wonderful city. As it is super close to the old city, still in a calm and peaceful neighborhood, you might even enjoy a late evening walk down to the sea or the Hagia Sophia, both are 5 minutes walking distance away and - this is a special hint: you can see dolphins playing in the sea in the evening. they usually don't get much further into the bosphorus, but when you walk down to the sea from the hotel, you can spot them easily when the sun goes down. with oculars you might spot them even from the balcony.

Everything is gorgeous . Wonderful breakfast and very clean everything.

Fist day when we went there my kids woke up a little bit early because of the time difference and jet lag . We had Two rooms and kids went to other room very quietly. Door made a little noise and I think it’s normal when you open the door. It was 06:20 AM in the morning. Not sure who would be interrupted that time. One of the front desk person was so rude with me because of that. He literally said “ ENOUGH “ then frowned at me and left. I don’t think as a guest I can deserve this kind of attitude. I was not happy about that at all. This is the one of bad experience I had form there. I like respect and same way I like to give respect. Even though I seen him after that but it was nice to him and I showed him my respect.

The location was great close and walking distance to the main attractions. It was clean, spacious and beds very comfortable. Staff are very friendly and happy to assist. Breakfast was tasty and plenty.

There is a sole train line behind the hotel. If you are a light sleeper ask for a room not facing this.

We loved staying at ferman hotel , I have used this hotel three times each time I have attended Istanbul. Staff Have been amazing , with My family especially the kids . We were very happy the only thing I would say the breakfast needs to change everyday . For 9 days we had the same limited breakfast. Chips and onion rings in the morning it Is not a breakfast It’s a buffet for lunch or Dinner. Also the juices no taste to it at all . The kitchen / breakfast staff were amazing . Also the reception staff in total all staff Were amazing . Thank You

The staff were warm,friendly,welcoming and helpful. They provided valuable advice and tips for sightseeing etc. the hotel was very cosy, the rooms were clean and spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The was a variety to choose from for breakfast and the view from the breakfast area was stunning, having both an ocean view and a view of the blue mosque. The location was excellent, within walking distance of the blue mosque, Hagia Sophia, the basilica cistern and the tram station. They offered an afternoon \evening tea with biscuits and muffins that was comforting. We will definitely stay here on our next visit.

Amazing hospitality by the staff, everyone including the cleaners were incredibly kind and welcoming. The receptionists especially Nuri were very accommodating and answered the many questions we had with no problem. They also speak fluent English which is great. The hotel is located a very easy 5 minute walk from sultanahmet square and there are many restaurants in the area. The best convenient location if you were to go for your first trip like I did. The rooftop views were also amazing.

The wifi sometimes was slow but that was on a rare occasion and the least of my worries.

Suggest airport pickup should be checked as it is through a third party. If there is a problem it was not through the hotel booking/ reception but due to the third party not registering us for the pick up This ended us taking private taxi, which was not a problem at all. Hotel staff was extremely apologetic about the mix-up and kept apologising even till the last day. On the way back, they reserved transport back to airport which is very punctual and very comfotable

We really loved our stay at the Ferman Hotel, and I wish I could give more than 10 stars. The location is amazing, just a 5-minute walk from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Topkapi Palace. The T1 tram is also within a few minutes' walk, making it easy to explore the city. The view from the hotel terrace was spectacular; on one side, you see the Blue Mosque facing you, and on the other side, the Bosphorus Sea. The staff and service were exceptional. We arrived early in the morning after a 14-hour journey, and upon arrival, they provided us with early check-in and free breakfast. A huge thank you to the Ferman staff for your kindness, especially Mehmed, who welcomed us graciously. The staff also assisted me in booking a taxi whenever I needed to travel early in the morning. The breakfast buffet was awesome, offering a huge variety that my children really loved. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. Thanks to Ferman's team again for making our stay memorable!

Everything was perfect

The hotel is perfectly located for a first visit to Istanbul. It's on a quieter street which was nice, but you have walking distance to most things you'd like to see on such a trip. The room was spacious too and had most facilties we could ask for. The staff was very service minded. The cleaning was impeccable and there was a nice little afternoon tea on the roof terrace.

With the location comes the athan, and you will hear every call to prayer from the blue mosque very loud. Just something to be aware of. There's also a train passing by if you wish for the sea view. In retrospect, I would have not picked that option. I missed having an ironing board in the room, and would have loved a few more hooks in the bathroom to hang your towels on but overall a good hotel. While the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, I would wish that they don't sell you a ton of tours just upon your arrival. We were really tired and were just waiting to get to our rooms, and that is not the kind of travel we like to do anyway.

We had room (301) with sea view in first floor. View is really nice. Good breakfast. Very good cosy location. The room is big enough and bed was very comfortable. Polite and helping staff. 24/7 front desk. Lot of restaurants of different types in neibourhood.

Furtniture and interiors are quite used and want some refresh. Fridge didnt work, so minibar was not available. There was just two electric sockets in very inconvenient locations, you can't charge and use your devices at the same time. Hotel located quite far from public transportation.
