Great location 7 min walk from blue mosque and hagia Sophia . Room was clean staff was always smiling and helpful reception staff always welcoming breakfast was buffet style the ladies serving great attitude went with our 11 month old baby and the staff went out of their way to be as helpful as they could when we go back will stay there again thank you Apple tree for a pleasant stay. Room service staff would visit late in the afternoon to clean the room so that's a bonus if you want a lie in .

Street outside was noisy at night but that's not the hotels fault maybe go for a basement room if you want a quieter room . Apart from that no issues

The location was amazing, less than 10 minutes walking distance to attractions (e.g. Sultanahmet, Hagia Sophie). Great access to tram and train routes connecting to city centre and shopping centres. Staff were helpful and passionate to guide. The room was clean. Breakfast options were reasonably diverse and good quality. The view of the restaurant was also good.

The room was a bit stinky, probably due to poor air conditioning and ventilation. Toilet also didn't have fan, sometimes smelly. My reservation included free breakfast. As I explained, it was great. However, the guy, probably the owner of the restaurant, had a passively aggressive behaviour. He was steering at us to see what we picked. I was feeling embarrassed to get several options. It might not be true, but it came across as I explained. Try not to eat restaurants near the hotel! You absolutely can eat much cheaper by 10 minutes walking away from this area.

Fantastic location - a couple of minutes away from Sultanahmet sites and very close to the coastal path, where I had the most amazing walk (turn left at the hotel - you won’t regret it!). Terrace for breakfast was wonderful; great selection of foods. Each morning there was a different selection of Turkish salads and eggs. Very filling! Bedroom was as in the photos. Excellent water pressure in shower. Mineral water available daily. Overall, for the price, this is a great budget hotel. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Lack of wardrobe shelves to store clothes.

Initially, we were given an unfortunate room — there was an unpleasant smell inside, and the shower area was leaking water onto the floor. We stayed one night, but I couldn’t stay in that room any longer and asked if something could be done. The staff kindly offered us a different room, and we really appreciated that. The new room was excellent — more spacious, no strange odors, and the bathroom stayed dry. It was a bit noisy due to the tram passing right by, but that didn’t disturb our sleep as there’s no tram service at night. Towels were changed daily, and the bed was beautifully made each time — a small touch that made a big difference. Breakfast was amazing: varied, delicious, and filling. Having it on the rooftop terrace with a beautiful sea view was a real highlight. The staff were incredibly polite and pleasant throughout our stay. Location is top-notch — just a 5-minute walk from Hagia Sophia. Overall, we were very satisfied and happy with our stay!

The hotel is located in the heart of Istanbul a few steps away from the most important monuments and sights of the city. The rooms are spotless and very well decorated. The bathroom is large and clean. The bedroom price also includes the breakfast, which is delicious and generous The staff of the hotel is just great. If I could, I would give them 6 stars, because 5 stars cannot mirror the kindness and the helpfulness of all the members of the staff. I would recommend this hotel to everybody and surely I will go back the next time I visit Istanbul again.

Everything is just perfect!

The hotel is in the heart of Sultanahmet square, close to most of the tourist destinations. Blue mosque, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi castle is just ten minutes walk from the hotel while the Grand Bazaar takes around 20 minutes walk. The breakfast served has a good selections of breads, meat, vegetables and three types of eggs items. The hotel also has a separate ala carte restaurant for any guests who would like to dine in there. I find the hotel room clean and the house keeping service is also commendable, they replenish towels everyday while also tidying up my bed everyday. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Great location in the middle of sultanahmet district. 5 min from Hagia Sophia, blue mosque and the tram stop but in a quiet street so no noise from outside. Breakfast was great as well, plenty of choice and on a rooftop terrace with view over the Bosporus.

Great location, super close to all the attractions. We walked everywhere. The staff was very friendly. The terrace was absolutely beautiful and the breakfast was great with a nice selection. The room was very cozy.

Our room was pretty noisy, lots of noise from the streets below so I had difficulty sleeping. I’m not sure if it was just my room because it faced the front street. The shower wasn’t the cleanest, but I didn’t mind much. The bed sheets were not very soft, a little scratchy. There was a large stain on the converter under the duvet cover.

The staff was welcoming and helpful. The ride from and to Airport was easily arranged by the hotel staff. The rooms were spacious. We were 6 people and we had 1 suite and 1 regular room. The breakfast was amazing with a wonderful view of the sea. The hotel is perfectly located near the bazar and blue mosque. Lots of restaurants and shopping around. Also a few mins walk to the sea. Our flight was late in evening so we were allowed to have a late check out and then use the hotel facilities beyond check out.

Despite a small glitch with the airport transfer, our stay at Apple Tree was very enjoyable. The rooms are clean and well maintained, the hotel’s location is ideal for exploring main sights, and breakfast on the terrace with a sea view was a lovely bonus. We would like to especially thank Mahdum, Can and Faxredin for going out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Thank you!

The room is a little small, but that's expected for a historic neighborhood location.
