Location was excellent close to major tourist attractions, breakfast good and plentiful.

The hotel is located in a heart of the old city, which is awesome, walking distance to all major attractions, but saying that ,prices for food in a restaurants are very high, they are very touristy oriented, what I mean by that is ; example you will pay for a chicken stew That is cooked supposedly in a clay jar, ?( in our place most likely cooked in pot and poured in the clay jar and presented for show) and plate of tortellini on Turkish style around US$80. For a glass of local Efes beer , it will be paying around 10-12 dollars. Prices are similar to all the restaurants in area and food is very similar, it is good but nothing special ,Definitely overpriced.

Great location, tastefully decorated restaurant with heaters and blankets to create cozy atmosphere in winter. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and good range of food available. Continental breakfast included a good range of local produce and fresh cake each day. Batu greeted us with a warm welcome. Room was very private with balcony and spa bath. Complimentary shampoo, soap, conditioner, slippers, vanity set, water, tea and coffee. Plenty of leaflets, books and information to help you plan your stay. Taxi pick up from the airport was arranged by the hotel and made transfer very straight forward.

I like milk with my tea and coffee, it would be good to have some sachets in the room / small bottle in the fridge for arrival.

The staff was great and helpful. They speak english very well. We had a room with a jacuzzi. Everything was clean and they were making up the room every day. The location is absolutly great. You have Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern and Topkapi palace at a walking distance. There is also Arasta bazaar nearby. As part of rhe hotel, there is a very good restaurant where you get 10% off as a hotel guest. We stayed for 4 nights and everytime we tried something different. Every food was delicious. If you go there be sure to try deserts too, künefe and katmer were the best of those we tried.

It is a two star hotel, maybe it could have more if it was not for some details. For example the door into bathroom section was missing. But toilet door was there so it was not much of a problem. Restaurant was closed on friday, but this was maybe just an exception. If this happens to you, visit The Ottomans Kitchen Cafe Restaurant which is right next to La Vida Hotel. They also have great food and service. The room can be a little dark, but there are many lights you can switch on so no problem.

We have chosen this hotel in the historic Fatih district for the second time and have never regretted it! The clean, cozy rooms, daily housekeeping, and incredibly hospitable staff created a truly homely atmosphere. The location is simply perfect - all the main attractions are within walking distance. The hotel's restaurant deserves a special mention: delicious food, fast service, and a nice discount for guests - what more could you ask for a perfect vacation! We will definitely return here again and again!"

The location is great because it’s close to the both Mosques. Hagia and Blue mosque. The reception guys were nice.

The breakfast staffs are not nice. The room shower was broken, but they changed the room. Then the drainage was an issue, the shower water would take long time to drain in the second room, then they changed the room again. If you don’t like smoke or cigarettes, then the breakfast area is not for you because everyone smokes there near the eating area. The cleaning staff was smoking in our room while he or she was cleaning.

The hotel's location is fantastic—just a short walk from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The breakfast was delicious, with a good variety. Batu at the reception was exceptionally helpful throughout our stay, and our room was cleaned thoroughly every day.

You can hear music from the restaurant below in the room, which might be an issue for light sleepers or those who go to bed very early. However, it didn’t bother us much—our children had no trouble falling asleep.

We stayed here 4 nights. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful (thanks to Batu especially!) and the facilities were overall in good condition and attractive. The breakfast was good, albeit largely the same each day. Great central location.

Beds were a bit hard for my taste, but the biggest issue was that the room we booked (a spacious triple) was incredibly hot. We soon realized it was directly over the hotel restaurant’s kitchen, and the oven vent must run along one wall - so some of the floor and wall was literally hot to the touch (!) and the AC couldn’t even cool down the room. Surely a safety issue too! They were luckily able to switch us to another triple, albeit less spacious (and with some noise at night from the restaurant), but not being able to stay in our preferred room affected our visit. So just don't stay in room 111 unless you prefer a warm room.

The best thing about that hotel is it's location. All the main sightseeings just around the corner. Airport bus stop is 3 minutes away. Fast and cheap. Very cozy property. Clan and big room we had. Breakfast was good as well. Friendly and supportive staff.

Facilities in the room could be better. Shower door was broken. And lighting in the room not sufficient. Very annoying restaurant reps along the street. In that area especially.
