The location, blue Mosque is just 2 to 3 minutes by walk.The breakfast was good for international standards and the the view of sea from the top roof,was beautiful just want to inform other travellers they don't have breakfast place so they tell you to go other hotel for breakfast but breakfast included in your hotel room price and you are not paying extra and i think they running business togather

They didn't gave extra blanket also bath towels were ripped. Also they should have their own breakfast place as they shown in photos but its in their hotel .The bosphorus sea view for breakfast is other hote.

We stayed for a week. Wonderful stay. Couldn't have asked for more. Good value for money. Clean and comfortable with excellent staff. Chef Zeynat and Ms Gulcan provided lovely variety of fresh breakfast daily and were always smiling and very welcoming. . Mr Zeynats fresh cakes were delicious! Guest kept going back for more. Berkay, Tekin and Sezgin were great in Reception. Always welcomed with a smile and very professional. Cicek was also great at her housekeeping. Our rooms were always spotless and stocked up with toiletries and towels. We didn't need to ask for anything from anyone. They have a good team. It may not look like a big fancy five star hotel with huge posh rooms but it offered a five star service in a very clean and friendly environment that we will always remember and would definitely recommend which is why I noted the staff names. We will miss our time spent there..

The staff, all of them are so adorable. The location is near to sultanahmet and ayasofia, but the area is very touristic and hence, very expensive. Try to have launch and dinner outside or takeaway from restaurants at other areas or malls. They have some souvenirs and touristic bazar around and nearby.

We were on a third floor with no lift. This like a boutique hotel or maybe a guest house, so the entrance isn’t very obvious. It took us ages asking the street and the whole neighborhood about it and nobody knew where It was. The reviews here on booking said that breakfast was in other hotel but fortunately was on top of the building with sultanahmet view, but when we asked for that, they said top floor breakfast is not available only downstairs breakfast is available, but to be honest, the staff at the breakfast restaurant were very sweet, caring and humble.

Room in the actual building of Hippodrome Hotel was really nice. There is an elevator so very convenient for luggage. Staff (especially one man at front desk) WAS VERY helpful with IstabulKart, instructions, getting taxi at the end of stay. Location is really great for exploring Old Istanbul.

Nothing about the hotel, but taxi drivers in Istanbul!!! They are dishonest. They turn on meter, but DEMAND CASH (not even once they would go by the meter and accept credit card). AVOID TAXIS IN ISTANBUL- use public transport with IstanbulKart that is very easy to use.

We originally booked 3 nights at the Hippodrome Hotel but ended up extending our stay by an extra day because we loved it so much. The rooms and common areas were clean. The breakfast was delicious. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help especilly Sezgin, Hatice and Elmas. They were always available, responsive, and genuinely kind. Overall, if you’re looking for a cozy, clean, well-located and affordable hotel with amazing hospitality in the heart of Istanbul’s historic district, Hippodrome Hotel is a fantastic choice. I’d absolutely stay again.

Our stay at the Hippodrome Hotel was pleasant. The location is excellent—within walking distance of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Topkapi Palace. The cleaning service was very good, and the staff were helpful. However, bottled water wasn’t complimentary; we had to pay for it. Breakfast was enjoyable, and the kids especially liked it. One downside was when my younger son asked for some extra sausages, and they said they were finished. I found this disappointing because I saw them preparing food in the kitchen and believe they could have made more. It felt like they might have prioritized locals, as we were not offered the same. My son was quite upset

The property has great location, reasonable amenities and daily breakfast. We loved the neighbourhood and the place is 5 mins walk to Hagia Sophia, blue mosque and another 5-8 mins to tram station. It is easily accessible to Ubers and connects to main highways. The staff were super polite, very welcoming and always ready to help. Highly recommended for small families.

Nothing really. The breakfast was in adjacent buildings rooftop. It’s quite decent. Everything was wonderful.

Location was good. Got a good room with seaview and terrace.

Staff might have been more helpful at check-out. I had four baggage and no elevator on the fourth level. I had to lug my baggage to the third level and then onto the elevator alone. If there had been an elevator on the fourth level, I could have carried the baggage myself without complaining. Also, I was pretty exhausted after taking my baggage downstairs, and the front desk clerk should have been friendlier at checkout instead of informing me that there is only one key to the room and why the key was placed in the doorlock rather than presenting the actual key to him.

From the moment we were still on our way the day before our arrival, the hotel was already accommodating us. I was so impressed by how kind the manager, Ms. Arzu, was. They allowed us to check in early and even provided a temporary room for us to rest in after our 10-hour bus ride, while our actual room was being prepared. Not only that, but they also served us a delicious breakfast with many options to choose from. The hotel is very clean and offers a beautiful beachside view. The breakfast area has a stunning view of the Blue Mosque and the beach, where you can even see a lot of seagulls flying around. Another great thing is the location—it’s perfect! You’re close to many shops, restaurants, and the train station. All the staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful, from the porter to the receptionists and the cleaners. I will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. This will surely be our go-to hotel every time we visit Istanbul. Once again, thank you to everyone at the hotel!

There is so much to like about the Hippodrome Hotel. 1. The staff if amazingly friendly and will bed oer backwards to help you meet your needs. 2. It is extremely close to the Suleiman Square thusall the main tourist attractions are walking distance. 3. The room had everything I needed for my stay which was a comfortable, clean bed with fresh bedding daily. A spacious enough bathroom with a big shower. Everything was cleaned daily. .4. Breakfast was served daily at another hotel across the road while they were busy renovations. I was fortunate enough to have a room with a balcony which had an amazing view of the Bosphorus, harbor as well as the Blue Mosque. All in all this hotel was absolutely perfect for my holiday. The photos provided are an accurate representation of the rooms and what you can expect. I will highly consider booking this same hotel again if I visit Istanbul in the future.

There was nothing not to like. For the purpose of it being a room to keep my belongings and shower it was perfect.
