Pros: Akbiyik Suite Boutique Hotel is in a convenient location. The bed is super comfy + very large on one-person stay. Staff members are quite kind and helpful! They helped with hotel pick up for a tour I booked: I was panicking because the pick up information was very vague, and they helped calm me down and watch out for the pick-up driver. Breakfast is mostly cold dishes, but is quite convenient and has a variety of options, including fruit and vegetables (a plus for me).

Cons: The hotel itself, in terms of the aesthetics and cleanness, is very standard / nothing special or outstanding. One has to pass through the restaurant "outdoor" sitting area to enter the hotel. I personally felt a bit guilty/awkward that I never ate lunch/dinner there, especially given how friendly the staff members are. Might be relevant for a sensitive person.

The staff were lovely and very hospitable. They went out of their way to accommodate for us. They made extra items for us for breakfast. The location was superb and right in the centre. 5 minutes walk from the mosques

I stayed at this wonderful hotel in Istanbul in early June and had an amazing experience! The rooms were impeccably clean, thanks to the daily housekeeping. The manager was incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests or questions. The hotel's location was also perfect, within walking distance of all the major attractions. My stay was absolutely fantastic, and I will definitely return!

Refrigerator did not work, but personnel of the restaurant located at the 1st floor of the building allowed us to store our fruits in their refrigerator.

I recently stayed at Akbiyik Suite Boutique in Istanbul, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was outstanding. It was my birthday, and Ufuk from reception had thoughtfully prepared our room with a small gift, making our arrival incredibly special. The kindness and helpfulness of the entire staff, including the owner, were remarkable. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. The room was beautifully decorated, clean, and cozy, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring Istanbul. The location of the hotel is ideal, allowing easy access to the city's main attractions while providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend Akbiyik Suite Boutique for anyone looking for a warm and personalized stay in Istanbul. I can't wait to return!

It is clean and right next to the tourist attractions, with a gorgeous rooftop terrace overlooking the Bosphorus and the Blue Mosque. The host responded promptly to all our messages, helped us with the parking spaces. Our group of 13 persons ate on the terrace of the location in the morning and in the evening and all the food was tasty. They kept a big bag of groceries for us at the restaurant at no extra cost, etc.

We got a room on the last floor which had an amazing view for the Bosphor,so we really enjoyed. The view from roof tarrasse was exceptional!!!

We were staying for 3 nights and the room was not being cleaned on that period, the cleaning ladies were taking out the trash during these days. In my opinion, minimum the change of towels or 1 time cleaning should be there!

Location is super convenient, many restaurants etc. around, and only a 5 min walk to hagia sofia / blue mosque and everything around them. Staff was super friendly, very helpful. Short walk to attractions nearby, and short walks to public transport (tram, boats, etc.). View from the room is really nice, you either see the sea or the mosques - both options are nice. No elevator in the hotel, just to keep that in mind (I think most of the hotels in this quarter don't have one). Not really a negative nor a positive point, just a reminder (taking the stairs is healthier anyways :)).

The room is really well equipped with everything, only thing which bothered me was the air condition machines outside the window which were very loud and made a constant buzzing sound. This is room specific though (we had room 401), the others probably don't suffer from it. Getting to the hotel by taxi is quite time consuming as the narrow streets in this quarter are almost always jammed up with cars and busses. Plan enough time, also when leaving to the airport (we had around 1hr. to IST, friday afternoon with really bad traffic conditions in the city).

The staff was really helpful and kind. The location was excellent. We extended our stay here by one more night and they accommodated us. There's a 24 hour shop right next to the hotel which was really helpful for us after returning late night. A minute walk from Arasta bazaar. Also a minute from Mesale cafe which stays open till 3 am.

The only thing that might be a concern for some people is the absence of an elevator. Walking up the stairs to the 4th floor after a long day was quite something. But we didn't mind that because everything else was great. There's a very pretty roof terrace which no one really accesses just because of this fact.

My stay was simply incredible! The staff's exceptional kindness and generosity made all the difference. They went above and beyond, planning unforgettable trips to the hammam, and even organizing boat tours to explore different parts of the city. Their helpfulness truly made my stay special. I'll always remember a particular incident that showcases their genuine care. Bedi and Ekran, the two remarkable individuals from the staff, have left an indelible mark on me. They were always by my side, ensuring my safety and making sure I made wise choices. Whether it was shopping for clothes or jewelry, their guidance was invaluable. One instance stands out vividly: while shopping for shoes, Mr. Ekran thwarted a vendor's attempt to overcharge me, even facing down a potential confrontation to protect my interests. The hotel's buffet was delightful, and I was blown away by the stunning views from both my room and the rooftop. With its prime location near Istanbul's main attractions, including the historic landmarks, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. A heartfelt thanks to the entire team, especially Bedi and Ekran, for making my trip so memorable!

Great view from the balcony (for the room type we selected) and from the rooftop terrace. Very welcoming and enthusiastic staff, even carrying our two heavy suitcases at once up and down three flights of stairs. Helped arranged a good and fair taxi driver to the airport. We were very satisfied with our stay. Thank you!
