The location of the hotel is just super, walking distance from the central square of Sultanahmet. The room, although not large, but is very clean and cozy. The room has everything you need, a kettle, tea, coffee, water. The bed is clean and very comfortable. The bathroom is very large and comfortable, the shower is spacious behind a glass partition, the washbasin and toilet are spacious. All bathroom accessories were present: clean towels, soap, shampoo, shower gel, hair dryer, etc. Many thanks for the cleanliness and order in the room, which was cleaned every day. Very polite and helpful staff. Very tasty and varied breakfasts, for this special thanks to the lady from Georgia -Azra. The coffee machine can be used 24 hours for free. The staff is very polite and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

We had a wonderful experience at the Luxx Garden Hotel in Istanbul. The location is truly unbeatable – just a short walk to the Blue Mosque (a must-visit!), Hagia Sophia, the nearby museum, and even the docks for boat tours. Everything is within easy walking distance, which made our trip incredibly convenient. Our family loved breakfast, which offered both local and international buffet options, with something different every morning – a very nice touch. The staff was exceptionally helpful and always ready to assist with anything we needed. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back!

We only wish we had stayed more days in Turkey! We would have loved to visit Pamukkale (the famous Cotton Castle) and take a hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia — both experiences look absolutely magical. Unfortunately, they were too far from Istanbul for this trip. But that just gives us a reason to come back!

The hotel itself is lovely, with a welcoming atmosphere and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff go above and beyond to assist with any questions or concerns. Breakfast is served at a convenient time, and daily housekeeping keeps the rooms clean and tidy. I really appreciated the care and attention to detail throughout my stay.

While the hotel has its charm, the small rooms are not very comfortable for two people. Basic amenities like slippers and a cup for toothbrushes were missing, and there was very limited space to unpack or organize belongings. The hairdryer seemed old and unsafe, as if it could stop working or overheat at any moment. A few updates would greatly improve the overall experience.

It took me ages to find the perfect hotel for our stay in Istanbul but after reading the reviews, checking the location and speaking to the hotel this one i knew was perfect for us. Luxx Garden hotel is literally a 4-5 minute walk from the Blue Mosque and 5-6 minute walk Hagia Sofia. The hotel is perfect walking distance. Right outside the door 30 steps to the left and right there are surrounding restaurants and takeaways open all night. Local shops close by. 7 minute walk to the tram line and less than 10 min walk to Topkapi Palace. We flew to Sabiha Glokcen Airport; took us 45 mins by private transfer (i booked the journey to the hotel on booking.com, nightmare finding the driver!) our return journey booked through hotel much easier. Rooms are clean. housekeeping and reception lovely. very nice breakfast, coffee machine in reception. elevator to the higher floors. carded entry to rooms with radiators and heaters. each room has a working fridge. we didnt use the safe as it wasnt locked down. bedding clean nice decoration and great lighting. 24hour reception. we chose this hotel as wanted to be near blue mosque and would 100% return it was fantastic. when we return to istanbul we would probably look at staying nearer the grand bazaar and taking the tram two stops to blue mosque as. grand bazaar food places are much fresher than those in sultanahmet which are less busier. we loved luxx garden. we had a family suite. 2 ensuites. 1 large kingsize and 2 singles in the second bedroom. it was a lovely hotel. staff are so lovely.

getting into the hotel with a pram was a little difficult due to initial steps but it didnt put me off and isnt a negative as we lifted it each time even though there is a ramp it just was. a bit narrow for our pram.

Good range of breakfast daily, something for everyone. The location is excellent. It's walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern.... and also not too far from Grand Bazaar. The staff at the front desk were always very helpful. Definitely recommend this hotel.

1. The bathroom was a bit to the small side and the shower would leak outside the doors when showering, creating a puddle when stepping out! It could do with a bit of updating eg. the grouting... 2. In one of the bedroom, the edge of the bedframe under the mattrass was slightly sticking out and as there's not much room between bed and the wall to walk, we kept knocking our leg against it if not being careful, which was painful. Please look into this.

The location of the place is awesome. The breakfast is also amazingly delicious.

The bed in general was not that clean. I found a few bedbugs and small insects in the pillow. The walls are pretty thin and the people like to stay up really late and yell a lot.

The best part about the hotel was the location - 5 minutes to the main mosques and the main square and 5 minutes to the bus stop, which brought us to the ferry or to the aquarium. We also really enjoyed the breakfast, which was delicious and changed daily. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel has the elevator, which was important to us due to the baby stroller and multiple suitcases. The beds were very comfortable (ours was also very wide as well) and we appreciated the blackouts, especially during our baby nap time. Some of the things, which were missing for the stay to be perfect: the windows weren’t closing perfectly, the safe wasn’t working, the walls and doors were very thin, so you could hear other guests in the hallway or nearby room and bed linen seemed old. The rooms were small, however it was sufficient for a city hotel, as we only spent nights there and were exploring the city during the day. In general we think it was great price/value ratio and we enjoyed our stay.

Location: perfect, central, everything was reachable in 10 minutes walk from there Breakfast: there was everything one needs to start a good day, we were delighted The staff was very friendly and helpful.

There were only minor technical issues that could be changed easily: in the room we stayed, I would attach some hangers on the inside of the door and on the wall behind the door to put our clothes because the room is small otherwise, there isn't a lot of place to use (I had to put my jeans on the door handle :), so with little changes the practicality could be improved. There was no view from the windows, and there was a distance of 2 m to the next house, but that wasn't a big issue due to the good price/value ratio of the hotel.

The room was perfect. Everyday the staff clean the room and provide new shampoo body wash. The buffet breakfast was perfect, everyday was different. But the most important part, was the service. From the first second we arrived, they help us with the bags and the welcoming. Ufuk and his colleague made us the best experience in Istanbul. In the last moment, they organised our schedule and booked a tour for us, in the last moment! The service was absolutely fantastic. Thank you so much and I highly recommend this hotel. Always!

I liked everything!

They have fantastic Turkish breakfast! Different choices with good quality of the products and a few changes every day. Free Turkish coffee option has conquered our heart, as well! The staff was really kind and caring and tried their best to make our stay comfortable. The room was very clean, we stayed at a deluxe room and it was OK, enough space to open our big suitcases. :) We like our experience there and will absolutely consider here on our future visits.

It is not a dislike but I have to warn that it is on a hill (as many hotels at Sultanahmet area) and you have to climb the hill for the public transportation. It is not a very long climb, though.
