The breakfast was fantastic and more than we could eat! Room was clean and cozy. Arrived early in the am, and they already had our room ready so we could crash after our flight to Istanbul. They even had umbrellas we could borrow and return in the evening. Very accommodating and staff was very friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend to others!

The only thing that we didn't like is that we had to put our suitcases on the bed in order to open them, get things out, and then close them back up to put on the floor in a corner; there were no suitcase racks to put the suitcases on, and there really wasn't space to keep the racks up in the room either, without blocking walking around the bed. But a minor thing; there was a nice sturdy wire rack in the room, where we could put our clothes, toiletries, towels, etc.; we were only there for 2 nights, so we dealt with it!

This hotel is in an excellent location as it is so easy to walk to the main attractions and the river front where you can catch boats. The people who run this place are very friendly and helpful making you feel very welcome. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Our room was small but very comfortable with a powerful shower. The hotel is also close to lots of eateries, in fact our best meal was at the kebab house opposite the hotel.

There is a lack of soundproofing on the walls and building work is taking place at the moment next door but this won’t take long to be completed. It was all quiet though in the night.

The chef lady made amazing omelettes for us to our liking. Very warm friendly staff. My wife hurt her foot during our trip and Semet went out of his way to help us that night till 3am. The manager is also a very friendly guy and lent us his Istanbul card though we didnt get to use it much as we mostly walked around or used taxi. The place is a 10 min walk to the Blue mosque and Hagia Sophia/Topkapi. And a 5 min walk to the water front. Also very close to the food street at Sultanahmet. Eren is also a friendly member of the team.

The hotel construction is wooden so the rooms are not sound proof. We managed to generate a complain from the people living below us since our kids were running around. Apologies for that. The boat tour suggested by the staff had poor value for money. I would strongly suggest not to take that suggested tour no matter how nice it sounds. We found it to be a very dull experience considering we paid Euro 55 for it for 2 adults and 2 children aged 6 and 2. You would be better off taking the regular public ferry up and down the Bosphorous. The cleanliness was not top notch. The wooden floor was not clean enough to walk bare foot. The hotel would benefit from a deep cleaning every once in a while and maybe raise the bar of the housekeeping staff.

Location, location, location — Agras Hotel in Fatih is right where the action and attractions are, a walking distance away from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Basilica Cistern, the Archeological Museum, Gulhane Park, the Bazaars, and meeting point for the Bosphorus Strait cruises. Breakfast served in the Hotel is just lovely and scrumptious. Hotel staff were very courteous and helpful.

Due to building constraints of the property (which used once housed Topkapi Palace staff), the Hotel does not have elevators/lifts. Prepare to lug your suitcases up to three flights of stairs, whichever guest room you may be assigned. Other than that, there is nothing to complain about!

Highly recommend staying in the Agras hotel for several reasons: 1) the hotel cost is affordable for the value its guests receive; 2) the location is great - within a brief walking distance to the Topkapi palace and Haigha Sofia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Suleymanyie Mosque, and many other attractions worthy of seeing in the Old Town in Istanbul; 3) a brief walking distance to the tram station; 4) at the same time, the hotel is located on a quiet, cozy, historic street away from the hustle and bustle of the Akbiyik street yet within a 2-minute walk if you do want to dive into the thick of it; 5) the hotel staff, especially Tuna, the hotel manager, are genuinely friendly, welcoming and very helpful in providing tourist recommendations and any other support you may need; 6) an extra shout-out and heartfelt gratitude to Tuna who responded quickly and in detail to my questions prior to arriving to the hotel and was understanding and very gracious in going an extra mile to extend my stay to ensure my comfort and conveneince; 7) my room was clean; the mastress and pillows were comfortable to sleep on; the bed linen were soft; the bathroom fixtures were nice and clean; my room faced the courtyard hence it was quiet, which was important to me; the room I stayed at was relatively small but enough for me as a single traveler.

It was excellent and exceeded my expectations. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing environment. The staff was courteous, attentive, and always willing to help with any request. The location was also convenient, close to key attractions and local amenities. Overall, it was a pleasant and memorable experience.

Room space is very short

My friends and I had the pleasure of staying at Agras Hotel where the staff were absolutely brilliant. They helped us organise our trip which made it easier and safer to be there. I would like to thank Tuna, Ozgur, Samet for helping us coordinate our stay there, Elena and Muyesser for serving lovely breakfast. Very friendly and easily approachable.

This hotel is small & cosy . Few mins walk to tram , and all the places if interest eg Hagia Sofia, Topkapi & all the restaurants . The working staff are extremely friendly & help esp the receptionist Eren . He is very knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful . He is a great asset to the hotel.

The hotel was perfectly located, the amenities and rooms were very well taken care of. The staff made the whole experience exceptional and welcoming. Aaron and Tuna helped us arrange for things we wanted to do. Gave us excellent info on the city. I hope they are well. My key take away from Istanbul were how kind the people were.

I choose the hotel based on their location and price to save my time and money cost, that's the reason why I choose here. They own the best location in the old city that you can walk to several famous scenic spots and also near the sea that you can walk there within 5 mins. Also, thanks for allowing me to add one more person to share my room. The owner is so friendly. They even offered self-designed maps for their guest and the spend some time to do the introduction and his recommendation. You also should try their breakfast, it's totally in Turkish style. One more thing is the time that we are leaving is just the day that UEFA Champions League start, so I let them to help me book the taxi to the airport, the taxi arrived on time, and I think the fee is acceptable.

The room is tiny and a little smelly, seems it's new renovated so we have to open the window even when we sleep.
