The room was very spacious compared to same category hotels in the neighborhood. Bathroom and shower very well maintained. Nice furniture and pleasant home decor. A beautiful breakfast room with balcony and view on the Bosphorus.Turkish breakfast with many options varying on daily basis and express kitchen. All the staff very friendly and helpful.The owner very attentive to details. A very special thank you to Mahir and Emir for their help with reservations and the nice chats.

A suggestion for people with limited mobility: they should check and possibly opt for different solutions and location, since most of Sultan Ahmet hotels have no elevators and the neighborhood lays on a hill.

This is a very small hotel near all historical sites. The room was large and clean. Breakfast was served daily on top floor of the hotel with a view of the Borphorous. Breakfast was excellent and fresh! The people were very kind and they have 24 hour person available at the front desk. There is a fridge and tea kettle in the room. It’s a good value for what’s provided.

The room had good AC but it was placed right over the bed so air was blowing on me. Also, the hotel is on the corner and taxis would often blow horns at night. I would ask for a room on the top floors if sound is a problem. If you have motility issues, don’t stay here as stairs are steep and circular.

This small boutique hotel was such a great find!! The building and rooms are so well maintained, super clean, and very pretty. Breakfast is very good and the views of the Bosphorous from the breakfast room are beautiful. I also loved how the decor of the rooms and lobby was in keeping with the Victorian age of the building. And since it is located in the most historic part of the city it really helps you to feel like you are stepping back in time to when Istanbul was part of the 19th century Grand Tour for educated young men of a certain class. Istanbul is now a must see for everyone and this hotel is in the best location just steps from all of the great sights. But what is best about the hotel is the very friendly and supportive staff. You feel like you are visiting family. They are so warm and generous and really try to anticipate your needs with advice and support. Ali even told us to call him if we were out and about and needed help, even with something simple like translating. Our last day was the cherry on top of our visit, we had an extremely early morning checkout and just assumed we were going to miss breakfast, but when we came downstairs at 3:45am Mahir had breakfast sandwiches wrapped up and ready to take with us! We were so surprised and grateful! That is the very high level of service you will get at Osmanhan Hotel!!

Fantastic stay in this fabulous boutique hotel. Reception staff were brilliant with a truly warm and friendly welcome and always more than happy to assist with anything you needed. A special thanks to Emir. Breakfast was fabulous. A great selection of freshly prepared food which changes every day. This can be eaten in the lovely rooftop breakfast room or, if warm enough, out one of the two terraces - both have great sea views.. The location is excellent 5 minutes walk to the centre on Sultanhamet and all of the tourist attractions on offer.and access to the tram/mentro. Lots of bars and restaurants within 2 minutes' walk. Felt very secure and safe walking around the area. Can highly recommend . Would not consider staying anywhere else should we return to Istanbul.

Absolutely nothing

The breakfast is delicious. The freshly prepared food was served to us at our seats. The location was good and it was the perfect base for sightseeing in Istanbul. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hair dryer was broken, but they quickly replaced it.

Even after 9 pm, staff member who appeared to be a student at the reception on the first floor was chatting on the phone for over two hours, and his voice could be heard up to the rooms on the second floor. I could hear the voice of the person on the other end of the phone through the speaker. I gave him some attention and things improved that day, but the next day it was the same again. When I asked him about it, he told me that he was calling because he needed to do some kind of program (lesson?). I felt that consideration should be given to guests who come to the hotel on holidays.

The staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful. Amir in particular, was incredibly attentive, friendly, and full of recommendations. Nothing is too much for the staff. The location was close to all the tourist attractions, so much to be reached simply by walking around.

It was a little noisy from our room on the 2nd floor. We found the bathroom to have a smell on arrival, however, the team cleaned it well and it was no longer an issue. One thing to note is that this hotel is located in the touristy part of town, so you can expect that when you walk down the street, you will see store and restaurant owners begging you to come in. That's no fault of the hotel of course, just something to note.

The location in the old city was wonderful, walking distance to all the major sites. The hotel was slightly off the beaten path, ideal for strolling and getting an authentic experience. The 24 hr access to the roof top was wonderful and included breakfast was satisfying. It was charming, quaint, and the staff was super nice.

I have no complaints. Be aware that this is a very small hotel, more of a bed and breakfast: only 2 rooms per 4 floors. It made for an intimate, cozy experience. They had clearly renovated: marble bathroom and staircases, but an old world feel. The room was on the smaller side, but cozy and the location gave the authentic experience. So happy I went there. Can’t beat it for the price

Really loved the coziness of this place and how warm and friendly the workers were. Especially auntie Sevda, who prepared a lovely Turkish breakfast spread on the terrace. I looked forward to this breakfast every day, it is quite the experience to enjoy a fresh meal while viewing the beautiful sea. The beds were very comfortable and the cleanliness was top-notch. Not to forget: the location is perfect. It is wonderful to be able to walk over to Hagia Sophia for morning prayers in 5 minutes. This was my second visit to this hotel and I would most definitely visit again.

The staff was super helpful. Breakfast was really good, the lady cooked something cool every day.You have to go up 3 storeys, there is no elevator, but the view and the breakfast are worth it. The location was good, in the historic center, which is good for a first time Istanbul visit, near to the main tourist attractions, but also close to the tram and train station.

We cheapened out and got the apartment on the ground floor, for us it was fine, but if you are a light sleeper I would recommend getting the apartments on the higher floors

A lovely small, cosy, newly renovated hotel with only 7 rooms. The room was spotless clean. Friendly and polite hotel staff offered advice on local restaurants and getting around. A simple but delicious breakfast is held on top floor with a beautiful view. Hotel is centrally located, only about 5 min walk from the Blue mosque. Highly recommended if you are looking for a small centrally located hotel.

The only minus points would be for bed duvet. There was just one duvet on a double bed too small for two people.
