Clean rooms, friendly accomodating staff, 24/7 Food and grocery availibility at door step, Fast internet connection, all basic facilities, high pressure warm and cold water to get freshen up and flexible support from the desk regarding check in, check out, transport arrangement etc - This is all you will get here. Location is excellent with everything nearby. The cornish is at few steps walk. There is not a single thing that bothered my stay with kids. Excellent experience.

The Camelot Hotel is a very good choice for your stay in Istanbul if you want to be close to all the attraction sights and still have a calm place to come home to. We had the room with sea view and the view did not dissapoint! We were welcomed by Aslan, who helped us straight away when we arrived at the hotel. He also gave us a map of Istanbul and tips of the best attractions and neighbourhoods. There is a street of small bars behind the hotel which is a big plus, it was not too crowded and overall a good and safe vibe. We enjoyed our stay at The Camelot Hotel and would recommend this hotel to others.

Excellent Stay at Camelot Hotel – A Truly Memorable Experience I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Camelot Hotel in Istanbul. From the moment I arrived, I felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to make sure every guest felt valued and well taken care of. In particular, I would like to highlight the outstanding help I received from Arslan. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Arslan provided invaluable assistance with navigating the city, explaining the unique features of each district, and helping me shape a meaningful and enjoyable cultural program. Thanks to him, I was able to experience Istanbul not just as a tourist, but with a deeper understanding and appreciation of its history and charm. The staff at The Camelot Hotel made our stay exceptional. Fatima cooked delicious breakfast each morning and is such a beautiful soul. Arslan and Alper at reception offered great advice for transports, food experiences, and activities, and they always greeted us with a warm smile and conversations. It was due to their hospitality that made our stay amazing! The rooms are very small but clean. The property is at good location with 10-15 minutes walk to Sultanehmet and 2 min walk to station.

Overall, we walked away happy due to the hospitality of the staff and the location. The property is poorly equipped with no kettle and tea services, no cups, and glasses. The rooms are very, very small for two people and two suitcases and barely any space to walk around the bed. For one person, it's an adequate space.

The room was SO AFFORDABLE but the location is superb and fantastic, walkable distance from all important attractions. I had the BEST Turkish coffee with the most amazing view 3 minutes away. I sat for hours watching the sea 4 minutes away. It’s in the heart of all important attractions which made my trip so easy. The staff are just SO HELPFUL 🩷🩷🩷

the room is too small if you are with family meaning just bed to sleep. But the location and price make it GREAT as it will save you money on traveling from and to attractions. Round the corner they have affordable restaurants

Except for the fact that it is near the bottom of a hill up to Topkapi Palace and Hagia Sophia, its location is superb. It's set in the extremely picturesque old section of Sultanahmet. You won't have to walk far to find a restaurant or cafe, as the area is loaded with them. The rooms aren't huge but they're perfectly adequate. I didn't take breakfast so I can't comment on the restaurant component. I highly recommend taking the concierge's recommendations for restaurants. The food will be extremely good, the staff professional and best of all, you can dine with the peace of mind that the bill you receive will uniformly reflect the prices you saw on the menu and you won't have to worry about being shortchanged if you pay cash

I have three recommendations: The bathroom sink's basin is not far enough from the wall. It's extremely difficult to wash one's face as the shelf above overlays a good part of the basin itself; a luggage rack would be extremely helpful, as you pretty much have to lay your luggage on the floor; and, while there is a good selection of international news channels, there were zero English language movie channels. Having one or two would break up the monotony.

A lovely little modest hotel on a cute street close to the tram stop and all the key historical spots like the Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Hagia Sofia, as well as some great places to eat and drink. Very pretty view of the river in the higher rooms and up the hill to the main tourist attractions. The room was small and simple but nice, comfortable, and clean. I was upgraded to a balcony room due to availability by a kind staff member whose name I forgot to ask for. The main selling points of this hotel are the lovely staff, especially Alper who is so accommodating and friendly, and the yummy breakfast. The staff member who makes the breakfast makes fantastic patatesli! They have a useful text service so you can message them questions and get any help you need about finding things or check-in / taxi service etc. Will definitely stay here again due to the great location, staff, price, and to get the breakfast again!

Nothing - it was no frills but lovely.

Perfect location! less than a 5-minute walk to Hagia Sophia, abundance of great restaurants and most tourist attractions, also super easy to walk to the ferry to the Asain side. It is more of a bed and breakfast-vibe than a hotel. Modern room, central air, great large windows, and nice bathroom. Would absolutely stay again.

I couldn't tell if the front desk staff worked there or were hotel guests. Its a really informal vibe which is cool but I checked in after midnight and as a female solo traveler, it took me aback to just walk up to a random dude and check-in. Like most older and popular cities the rooms were small, wouldn't recommend it if you plan on spending substantial time in the room.

The staff was kind and helpful and the hotel was super close to not only touristy spots but also the public transport! We took the bus and metro a lot - and the hotel was the ideal location for that. The beds were also super comfortable, and our room was cleaned daily.

The rooms were very crammed, which is understandable, we had 3 adults in 1 room so that just makes sense. We did notice a sewage smell quite often, we read this in other hotel reviews too, chances are it's just from the area/buildings and not hotel specific but something to be aware of.

The room was nice, Arslan the receptionist is very friendly and always ready to help asap with no matter what. The location of the hotel was perfect! It was very clean and you can enjoy the sea view from the rooftop Terrace. Would book again!

Beds are smaller than 180cm but not a big deal :)
