Intimate, small set up with attentive and helpful staff. Superbly located in close walkable proximity to key tourist attractions like Hagia Sophia. Decent breakfast. The early morning call for prayer from the nearby mosque is very much audible but did not bother us.

Lacks some amenities taken for granted in modern hotels. For example, the room did not have a kettle to heat water for tea, though we got one on request from the reception. Similarly, there were no toiletries in the bathroom (such as shampoo, conditioner, body lotion) other than shower gel although they would possibly have also been made available upon request. Also our room was up two flights of stairs with no elevator which could bother someone with heavy luggage (again, the staff offered to help carry it upstairs).

Beyond amazing location! So close to major tourist attractions. Steps from the Blue Mosque. I cannot say enough about the staff. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Manager helped give us travel tips, gave us tram card to get started with. On our day of checkout, he helped secure temporary parking for our rental! Really they are so nice. Gave us cold bottles of water as it was especially hot during our visit. Breakfast was great! Lots of options. View from rooftop terrace was amazing!

Only negative thing I can say is that the blanket was on the smaller side for double bed.

The hotel staff were responsive, helpful, and courteous. We were truly grateful to be allowed an early check-in, especially appreciative when we were given a room on the same level as the reception, which made everything much more convenient. The location was superb, within walking distance of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazaar, shops, eateries, and the Big Bus hop-on hop-off stop. Breakfast was simple yet satisfying. We could hear the adzan during each prayer time, which added a beautiful spiritual touch to our stay, no alarm needed to wake up for Fajr 😁👍🏻.. The rooftop view of the Blue Mosque was exceptionally clear and rewarding. We specifically chose this hotel for that reason, and it certainly did not disappoint.

There was genuinely nothing to dislike about our stay, as everything matched the hotel’s description and criteria provided before booking. We got exactly what we expected, if not more, and thoroughly enjoyed our experience 😍.

The location is perfect 👌 you are literally a stones throw away from the Blue Mosque and all its delights. Ali the owner is a funny friendly guy and his staff are all wonderful and friendly. Good sized room. Great breakfast the ladies even had homemade cake. Yum. Short walk to everything you want to see. They arranged transfers for us. Plus they have a cracking rooftop and shop just 350mts away to grabs some drinks to enjoy the views as the sun goes down and the call to prayer echo's out.

I stayed for one night between my business trip and my flight home. Although I had visited Istanbul several times before, I had never seen the night view of the Blue Mosque—this time, I finally did. I chose this hotel based on its excellent location on the map, and it turned out to be perfect. It is very close to the main tourist attractions, and I was able to enjoy a stunning view of the Blue Mosque right from my room. I could get to Ayasofya early before crowded. A truly wonderful experience! Cat Boss and Rushan Abi welcomed me. There’s no elevator, but Rushan abi kindly carried my heavy luggage to my room. Thank you again! Breakfast was fresh and nice.

The only downside was the weather—it rained, so all my photos turned out cloudy.

Staff and location. Room was clean. Manager Ali was very entertaining and always helpful.

Device on key to slot into socket to activate electricity was faulty. The reception staff at check in advised us of this and said it had to be in certain position which we struggled with repeatedly. We were offered a room change on a day we were heading out for a tour- them shifting our gear which we didn’t want. When we returned from the tour I asked about the room change and was told not possible.Breakfast was good. Great bread and olives but need to get juice instead of a cordial type mix. Oranges were cheap and plentiful. The tv didn’t work for the week we stayed and got different stories about why. Some staff said all the tv s were faulty and other staff said it was just 2 tv s in the hotel. The repair man came on our last day as we were packing up.

The location and the staff. The location was very close to the several historic sites and the tram station. Staff (every single of them) were very friendly, hospitable and responsive. The reception staff speaks Russian, which was helpful in several occasions. We would like to thank Mr. Ravshan from reception, and the owner (I believe Mr. Ali) for warm and open hospitality. It definitely did not feel like I have overpaid for anything unlike in another hotel in the same neighborhood where I have stayed in my previous visit.

The location, perfect! Right in the centre of Sultan Ahmet, the views of the Mosque and the harbour from the rooftop terrace were just brilliant! There was a sufficient amount for breakfast, a mixture of cereal, some local dishes, tea coffee etc. The manager and his team we welcoming, down to earth and gave us some great ideas of places to go that weren't your typical tourist traps. We found the building quite calming which was great after a busy day walking through the hustle and bustle that is Istanbul. We noticed it was popular among female guests due to it feeling safe and calm - not something I'd normally mention but it's a huge compliment to the staff. The Mosque is within throwing distance of the hotel and you do hear the call to prayer throughout the day/night. I would imagine it's the same throughout the City so expect it.

Honestly, nothing. We had an idea of what we were expecting and it fulfilled everything. Would we stay there again, absolutely.

Breakfast basic No facilities in room, kettle, etc though can be requested. Ironing board not available. Beds creak badly with any movement.
