The hotel is in a good location - it's in a small and quiet street, away from the busy areas but close to the main attractions like Blue mosque, Hagia Sophia etc.. The receptionist (don't know his name unfortunately) was very welcoming, nice and helpful. The bed was really comfortable. The room has a conditioner and a fridge, which is great for the hot days.

The room was very, very small, but it wasn't much of a problem for us. And as the other experiences with this hotel were really great, that seems like just a tiny inconvenience.

The hotel is very good located. The main spots of Istanbul - such as Aya Sofia, Blue Mosque and the Sultanahmet square - are located in a walking distance from the hotel, and you can also find very good restaurants around it. Seyid and his family made our stay much more pleasant. He sent us a list of restaurants (with cheap options) and was kind enough to pick up my boyfriend at the station when he arrived from Brazil. Thank you Seyid and all his family for making our stay so special 🥰 The amenities in the room were very useful - the mini fridge, cattle, wardrobe and the heater. Bed was very comfortable as well! In September I vacationed at the Nar Hotel. This is a very good place. The hotel is very clean. In the room was all that I needed. It is located in the center, within walking distance from all historical attractions and from the T1 high-speed train. Hosts are kind and responsive and became my friends, helped me with everything. They helped me buy a transport card and called a taxi to the bus to the airport. We even celebrated the birthday of one of our roommates together. When I go to Istanbul again, I want to stay here again. I very recommend the hotel. It was fantastic!

I stayed in this hotel with my family, including two kids. The location is perfect walking distance to Hagia Sofia. Lots of restaurants nearby. The rooms are spacious. Roof top Terrance with amazing see view. I can’t complete my review without mentioning Mr. Tanveer who is the seven star host. Very helping informative person he made our stay memorable by guiding us.

The room is very comfortable, and even though it is small, we managed to store our bags and belongings. The owners, a very nice couple, are very kind and friendly people; they helped us with recommendations and prepared our breakfast every morning, which was very tasty and fresh. The location is close to the city centre, including the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia Mosque. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. The room we stayed in has space for improvements, such as installing a floating shelf above the bed for extra storage and newer bathroom appliances, but it wasn't a problem for us. We are happy to return sometime in the future.

Best hotel in Istanbul! If you’re looking for something where you feel like home you should feel free to book The Nar hotel. The hotel is so good and so clean! And very near to the Public Transport station Tourist Attractions like Aya Sofia, Taskin Squre , Sulten Ahmet Mosque, The Grand Bazaar and other Attractions are very easy to reach. There are alot of eating options near to the hotel. You can get a breakfast also at the hotel and sit at the Terrace with the Marmara Sea view. The hotel owner and his Wife are so so kind and helpful they helped me a-lot to discover Istanbul and whenever and wherever i wanted to go. Mr. Mansur even arranged me and my wife Cappadocia tour with Hot Balloon, ATV Ride, A guided Cappadocia Tour which I’m very thankful to Mr. Mansur aboutg. Please book with them they deserve it and you wont be disappointed. Thank you so much Mansur Bey and his wife. We’re morw than satisfied! And surely not our last time here. Whenever we’re in Istanbul we will come here ! :)

There is nothing that i don’t like about this hotel. It is probably the best in the Area!

Good location, very close to main points of Sultanahmet, 15 min walk to Ayasofya. There are plenty of small restaurants and stores in the area. Emir was very helpful during our stay. he helped us with airport transfers and restaurants recommendations.

All good for the price, but be ready to walk some stairs and hills. Hotel is located next to the sea level, so you have to walk up hill to go to the center. if you feel it’s a problem, ask the staff to call for the taxi.

- comfortable bed - clean - hot water in the shower - shampoo, soap, towels and slippers provided - close to the main tourist attractions and to restaurants - I could leave my bag there for few hours after checkout

- it takes very long time to get there from the airport by public transport(and if you’re going back, you need to go uphill with your luggage to get to tram station)

The owner was very nice and kind, we feel that the hotel was our home and we were not strangers. The place was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The hotel's location is very close to everything. We needed 10 minutes of walking to reach Aya Sophia and Sultan Ahmad. We love every thing there the hotel, the very amazing owner and the location

We enjoyed our stay in a comfortable room with a great bathroom. Azat, the receptionist, is a kind, friendly, helpful guy who can tell you all about the neighbourhood and Istanbul to make your stay even better. The hotel is in a quiet area and it's close to everything.
