Great location - close to the Sultanahmet T1 station, but not too close so it was very quiet at night; lots of good restaurants literally around the corner, same with supermarkets; some of the major landmarks within a comfortable walking distance; the kitchen equipped well to cook a simple breakfast for three people and make some tea; really comfortable beds; air conditioning in the living room; clean bathroom with hot water. Very hospitable owners: Engin helped us with the late check-in and the taxi, also recommended some great restaurants; the apartment was clean and tidy – a perfect stay if you ask me.

Just a few hundred metres from Sultanahmet Square, the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Cistern Basilica, Gülhane Park but in a very quiet area with plenty of small restaurants, supermarkets, souvenir shops n 2 parks. Local people are very friendly n helpful. The kitchen could do with a bit more cutlery n crockery for visitors who enjoy cooking but it is a very small minus point! Enough equipment available to prepare breakfast n quick meals

Engin our host was very friendly, helpful and responsive to all our questions and requests. He also kindly walked us around the local neighbourhood while our room was being prepared as we turned up early. The apartment was clean and comfortable and in a great location, easy walk to multiple attractions. The room size was much larger and cost per night was significantly cheaper than our previous hotel in Beyoglu, even allowing for breakfast not being included.

Aircon only in one bedroom. Noise from the upstairs apartment travels through the ceiling a bit, fortunately the guests there were not too noisy. The hotel's credit card facilities were not working which meant we had to organise a bank transfer which was a bit stressful as we weren't expecting this. You'll have to carry your bags up stairs, no lift (which we expected)..not a major issue for us though at the time.

The apartment is clean, beds are comfortable and neighbourhood is as quiet as it could be – seagulls and mosques are everywhere in city center. Location is perfect for tourism: main attractions are in 15 min walk, restaurants and shops are in 2 min walk. The whole building is an apart-hotel with very friendly hosts.

There were a few things that bothered us and can be improved. First of all, the small bedroom faces east and it is essential to have blackout curtains here (unfortunately, there wasn't). Second, there were not enough hooks to hang our clothes. It would be nice to have a few on a wall in the corridor, e.g. in front of bathroom. The bathroom, by the way, would also benefit from more hooks, as there was only one. Lastly, it would be great to have more little tables, as they are quite useful for storing unpacked stuff.

Clean and spacious place just like seen in the pictures. Engin and Nuraan were helpful and friendly. We were in the family suite, it was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 3 children. Bathroom and kitchenette are well kept and clean. Basic amenities like towels, body wash, shampoo, tea bags etc were provided. Air conditioning worked well. Neighbourhood is quiet and feels safe. Short walk to restaurants, grocery markets and places of interests. There is also a small family park very close by. Overall, I would recommend this place.

We were met at the property by the host and he had been communicating with us prior to arrival making it easy to find the property. The location is excellent being 10-15 minute walk to the grand bazar, blue mosque, Topkapi palace, Hagia Sofia, etc with it being located in the old town of Sultanahmet. It is close to plenty of restaurants and being on a side street it is quite and safe. Any time we needed anything the host was available via whats app and gave us great advice re where to eat, go shopping, etc.

The property was maintained by a charming lady. She did not speak English but her son did and he was readily available to answer phone messages. There were 4 adults staying so we had a room with a double bed and a room with two twin beds. I am guessing the twin room would normally be the lounge, it had a tv and dining table. There is a nice little balcony off the kitchen where you can enjoy breakfast in the sun. The bathroom was nice, with a good supply of hot water. The area around the apartment is pleasant, with lots of restaurants, some neighbourhood supermarkets, and nice shops ( a good bakery/cakeshop). It's about a 10 minute walk to the Blue Mosque area, where you can find the Hagia Sophia and the Topkapi Palace, and the Sultanahmet tram stop. It's also an interesting walk to the opposite coast where you can find ferry terminals at Eminönü, but it does include climbing up a steep hill.

There was one aircon so we cooled both bedrooms with it as they are separated by a door which could be left open. The cooking facilities are one electric hob and a microwave. The cooking utensils are limited.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The hostess and Engin the hostess were very hospitable and kind, they made us feel very welcome whilst showing us a good food place to eat on the first day. The rooms are clean and facilities are awesome, with access to coffees, tea, cutlery. Access to a nice balcony. The place itself is close to the main tourist attractions, like Sultanahmet Mosque. There are shops and supermarkets very close and a short walk round the corner.

Superb location. The streets and houses are so pretty, feels like you are in a different time. The apartment has enough light and it has everything what you need. Just to note that one of the rooms is a walk-through room, so if there are two couples, it, might not be ideal. But for a family with kids or without needing privacy, it's good. Engin and his mother are very kind, sweet and generous. Although we don't understand Turkish, his mama was always showering us with blessings in Turkish, so cute! They also let us stay a few hours after check-out time as our flight was in the evening. I really appreciate it. Thank you!

Nothing to add much. Just a recommendation to add more cutlery and an extra stove to the kitchen. It's too minimal if one wants to cook a complete meal. Otherwise, perfect!

Recommended. 3 rooms. 3 sinfle full size beds and 1 bouble bed. Suitable for family of 2 +3. VERY CLEAN and tidy. Perfect location c. 1km from Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. Good base for city sightseeing. All monuments in walk distance except of Galata Tower - you need a tram to get there, not too far. Many shops, restaurants and caffeeterias, pharmacy near by. Landlords VERY FRIENDLY and HELPFUL. Waited for us kindly till late night due to massive plain delay. No problem to leave suitcase after check out if departure later in the evening. Easy contact in English. Address easy to find by taxi - no problems with getting in and off the place.
