We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and I can confidently say it was a remarkable experience. First of all, the hotel is impeccably clean, and the staff is extremely kind and friendly. The location is excellent, situated in the historic center of Istanbul, very close to major tourist attractions such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Cisterns, Topkapi Palace, and the Grand Bazaar. Additionally, its proximity to the metro and tram makes getting around the city very easy. The hotel’s decor is superb, in an Ottoman style, offering an authentic and elegant atmosphere. The rooms are extremely clean and charming, although a bit small, but this does not affect the overall comfort of the stay. Another strong point of the hotel is the breakfast, which is rich and delicious, offering a variety of specific breakfast appetizers. Although it is not a buffet, the diversity and quality of the dishes more than compensate. We particularly appreciated the attention to detail, such as the provision of fruits and wine from the house. The staff was incredibly helpful in every respect. Whether we needed recommendations for excursions, advice on tourist routes, or currency exchange, we always received quick and cheerful assistance. The airport transfer was very well organized and convenient, eliminating any stress related to transportation. In conclusion, I warmly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to enjoy comfort, elegance, and quality services in a central location in Istanbul. We will definitely return! Tips: Have a great lunch or dinner at Münhani restaurant nearby. The personnel is very nice, and the food is affordable and delicious. Take the Istanbul ferry from Eminönü to Kadıköy. It’s a better option to go on Bosphorus instead of the cruise. In Kadıköy don’t miss out Berlin Platz Pub for great ambiance and affordable beer and Cold Neron for delicious homemade ice cream.

Everyone went above and beyond to facilitate us. It was our first trip together as a couple and they made sure everything was on point. I booked activities like day tour and cruise through them as well as airport shuttle, the entire trip went super smooth considering it was our first time in Turkey. The hotel is extremely clean, very responsive reception desk specially Yacup was really helpful. Very nice breakfast as well and very filling! We had our Hammam the last day before our flight, loved it! Whenever we plan to visit again, Sultan it is! And oh they also gave a present on check out. 😍

Everything was great!

Everyone at the hotel was so friendly and they went out of their way to make our trip for my partner's birthday that little bit of extra special. It's a small hotel on an old city backstreet, absolutely chock full of character and charm, with only 4 rooms on each floor. We loved it. The breakfasts were truly outstanding - they happen over the road in a local restaurant and are a wonderful spread of sweet and savoury Turkish breakfast options with a wide choice of tea and coffee options. With the hotel only being 10mins from the central tourist area and the tram, and 10mins in the other direction to the train line, we were able to do everything we wanted to in Istanbul so easily.

We couldnt choose better as we were first time in Istanbul. Hotel is situated just few minutes from Old Sultanahmed. Huge thank you to Yakup who welcomed us with such a hospitability. All staff was very helpful, and cleaning lady was super kind ( cleaning on daily basis). Yakup was checking with us daily if we need any help or if its anything what hotel can do more for us. Breakfast cross the road super handy, we used this restaurant even for some dinners. Team was able to organised for us anything what was on our mind: transfers, taxi, sauna, trips and advice.

We had an absolutely lovely stay! What stood out the most was the incredible kindness and helpfulness of the staff — everyone we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. When we experienced a small issue in our room, they immediately took care of it and even offered us a complimentary visit to the sauna and a discount for the hammam, which was an amazing experience. Their thoughtful and professional approach truly made us feel valued as guests. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-located, but it was really the staff that made our stay so special. We felt completely at ease and very well taken care of. Highly recommended — we would happily return!

A charming hotel with exceptionally welcoming staff who are always ready to assist you. As hotel guests, we experienced a remarkable sense of comfort in a uniquely inviting atmosphere. The delightful terraces are an additional bonus. The personnel at this hotel are incredibly friendly and treat you like a member of their own family. We felt completely at ease every moment. The breakfast provided by the hotel is nothing short of amazing. We extend our gratitude to Mr. Erkon and Murad for their generosity, hospitality, and the lovely gift we received upon our departure with Mr. Yakup. Thank you once more to everyone. Location perfect! A few minutes walk from the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace and Grand Bazar. Nice variety at breakfast, although don't really expect anything fancy, but had a good variety of cheese, salad and some warm snacks as well among others. Breakfast is across the road. The staff was really kind and caring, always looking on how to improve our stay. We went with our own plan, but the hotel can organize tours for you, and there is a Haman bath opportunity at the place as well. Also they offer airport shuttle, which is currently at 45 EUR rate one way (expected to be payed in EUR/USD at the reception)

Rooms are smaller then expected, or maybe only some furniture is in the wrong location, couldn't really decide on this, but the pictures are definitely tricky. However you want to stay at this hotel, due to the proximity of the sights and not because you want to spend your day in the rooms. Beds are also smaller, then regular European hotels, but i didn't really mind that, however for us they were kind of uncomfortable. Didn't really get a good night sleep while there. Sound insulation is basically none existent.

I was truly impressed by the wonderful attitude of the staff! Everyone was friendly, smiling, and incredibly caring. They helped me with everything they could, and even gave me small gifts at check-out — which was so sweet and thoughtful. My room had a balcony with a beautiful view, which was the main reason I chose it. I expected it to be a bit bigger, but that was not a problem at all, as my overall stay was simply excellent. The location is also very convenient — just a 10-minute walk to Hagia Sophia, but keep in mind that the way is uphill 😄

Perfectly located in the heart of Sultanahmet, the hotel is just a short walk from the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and Hippodrome, with easy access to Beyoğlu and Eminönü. The complimentary breakfast, in a separate restaurant just outside the hotel - though a bit repetitive, was tasty and had a decent spread. I extended my stay and requested an upgrade—both were handled smoothly and efficiently. Special thanks to Yakup and Murad for their excellent service! They went over and beyond, even helping me with taxi services!

While the hotel looked larger and more polished in photos, the rooms are quite small and a bit old. That said, they were decently clean for the price, though cleanliness could be improved.

Nice hotel with ottoman style design located on a busy street. Lots of shops around. We had to move rooms a few times and the team were very helpful and swift at relocating us. Very good variety of breakfast items which was located at a restaurant across the road. Thank you to the wonderful staff Erkan, Murad and Yakup for helping us on our stay!

Location - a lot of uphill walking to get to the main square/Sultanahmet mosque if that is what you enjoy! The rooms/walls are not sound proof so you may hear people walking/talking along the corridors
