Great location, walking distance to almost all the touristy things, and if not, there's a tramway that gets you to the other side of the river, towards Karakoy. The spa is nice an calm. It has Sauna, Steam room, Indoor pool (and outside though it's only for summer) and a turkish bath room. The rooms are good size and everything is comfortable. Very practical to have a mini fridge in the room. Breakfast included with lots of variety

Constructive criticism: The spa : The lockers should have a key, it feels better to leave your belongings in a safe place. The steam room had a bit of a moldy smell. I think a water dispenser like the one you have in the breakfast area would be nice down there, the "juice bar" was empty. The rooms : We put up the "Clean our room please" sign on the door, and the person only took out the trash and replaced the shampoo bottles. They didn't really clean it. (Otherwise the room was spotless when we first got to the hotel) The breakfast : It has a lot of variety though not so much for fruits.. only some melon or prunes. Depending on the day. The fresh orange juice machine was only for decoration apparently.

We booked for the outdoor pool and it was closed for a refurb, which we didn’t know until after we’d prepaid and couldn’t get refund. Rooms quite small

Aircon in room was hit and miss. Didn’t always work. Breakfast was chaos. Hardly any food left after 9am despite being on until 10. Also had to chase waiters for plates, cutlery and glasses. Not enough tables

Spa: The spa is not work properly The steam shower was broken. The pool and the jacuzzi was cold. The turkis haman was clean but not hot enough The terraze is in renovation. No view Nothing is clarified before we arrived. I book a hotel spa but not really a full functional spa. Only the sauna was working but too many people inside Breakfast: they charge you 3 euro for a glass of orange juice. Not fresh fruit. Only apples

We had a lovely stay at the Orka hotel! the location was perfect, just a short walk from all the major sites which helped us save transport money . The room was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the daily housekeeping and quiet atmosphere, especially at night. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Special thanks to Moussa who went out of their way to make sure we had a nice experience. We also enjoyed the rooftop terrace and views, a great spot to relax after a day of exploring the city. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Istanbul who wants a central, safe, and comfortable base.

Hmm we would've preferred one double bed instead of 2 separate ones put together but it was not a big deal

Very good hotel. I would like to thank Emre, Kadir, Yasin and Seyma for their exceptional service. Travelled as a family of 14. Some issues initially with parents being put in a room with no window and another room not adequate however Emre quickly moved them to a suitable room the next morning. The cleanliness is to a good standard. Breakfast is OK. Usual eggs, meats, cheese and fruits, nothing fancy. Pool small however kids loved it and OK for a dip after long day sightseeing and choice of 2 pools. Sauna also good. Steam room could do with a revamp. Old looking didn't always work and didn't look clean. Location excellent. Central to all major sight only issue is taxis cannot always get in during busy periods. I would stay here again if visiting Istabul.

We liked our whole experience of our stay at Orka Hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful with a special mention to Guzra for making us feel so welcome on arrival, she is a real asset to the hotel. Our room was spacious and the air con worked well in the intense heat. After travelling around Europe it was an absolute delight to find a hotel with tea and coffee making facilities in the room with a fridge! We enjoyed the rooftop swimming pool when it was hot and the spa was very enjoyable which makes it exceptional value for money to have the spa facilities included in the price. The breakfast buffet was very good with a great selection of food. The hotel was next to the Sirkeci train station which was very handy for travelling by train or getting to and from the airport- for this you can use the Marmary metro which is at the station. The hotel is right in the heart of the Sultanahmet district where all the major sights are close by incl. the Blue Mosque, Aya Sophia, the Grand Bazaar, the Spice Bazaar, the Topkapi Palace and just minutes walk away from the Bosphorus where you can catch ferries across to the Asian side and the Princes' Islands.

My only niggle is that the rooftop pool closes at 6pm which made it difficult to visit after being out for the day. Its just such a wonderful asset to the hotel, it would be a shame to miss it.

We had a lovely stay at Orka Royal Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, with daily housekeeping and fresh towels. Breakfast was the same each day, but plentiful and a good start to the morning. We absolutely loved the spa package for two—the massage ladies were amazing! The location is perfect, right in the heart of the old town, close to the Marmaray Sirkeci station and walking distance to all major sights. For the price, everything we got was beyond worth it.

A few small downsides: the spa sauna was closed on some days, we requested a double bed but got twins (which we put together but they kept separating), and the balcony door had no mosquito screen, so we couldn’t leave it open at night and had to rely on the AC, which blew directly onto the bed.

The hotel is amazing, near to all historical sites , a lot of restaurants, shops ... Walking 10 min from the bosphorus Rooms are soooo comfortable, Ac is ideal Breakfast amazing ( just adding some vienoiseries will be useful 😋) Reception staff are so helpful especially Guzra she helped me a lot and assisted my parents with professionalism and care ) Swimming pool area is lovely with stunning views of bosphorus Thanks a lot

Roof terrace closes at 10 pm which is so early , we wanted to spend more time in front of the nice view of bosphorus but they refused
