The hotel is located in an old area of the town and looks like oasis of luxury. But be ready that when you leave the hotel, the streets are not so luxurious and cafes are very simple. There is a Michelin restaurant, 5 min walking - Pandeli, which we recommend to try. The hotel is new, interior of lobby/room is wonderful. Staff really tries to do their best. Highly recommend, especially when you want to see authentic old streets of Istanbul.

We have put 10 score everywhere but those points might be improved: 1) Room cleaning 2) When there are many guests on breakfast, you need to wait for too long for the waiter to ask for something

Great design and super comfortable rooms, especially strong AC and shower. Bed was also comfortable. By far the best thing about the hotel is the superlative staff and exemplary service! Possibly the best, personalized and dedicated guest service I have ever experienced anywhere, including Middle East and Asia (travelled to 50+ countries).

Nothing worth writing about.

It starts to be rare to find a hotel where they are so polite and respectful of the client. Congratulations! Don't change! The director and the concierge Mister Hasan were extremely kind with us . I recommend this hotel if you love when the people are true professional during your trip. For the future it will be nice if the group Marriot will invest to have spa in the hotel!

The mini-bar, because it was impossible to full fill everyday and the chief of this area wasn't able to understand...but after 3 days of discussion the director of the hotel resolve her lack of understanding! It's just for me, because they are too many "manager" of each area but nobody to really the job! This example is the good one! Don't be worried it's just anecdotal comments!

The staff at the hotel were the most amazing people and made our trip to Istanbul so memorable that we will come back and stay there again. The Concierge service is second to none. They walked us to particular restaurants and cafe they recommended and even ordered the specialities for us to ensure we got what they recommended. The tours recommended could not be faulted and lived up to our expectations and beyond. They communicated via Whatsapp regularly and gave us updates and recommendations. We would also like to mention Ridvan on reception. What the concieges were not available he would always step in and help. He even went shopping for me in his own time to bring back an item I was searching for. One of the best Hotel experiences we have ever stayed at. Recommend to anyone staying in Istanbul.

I could not fault a single thing.

Beautiful historic building recently renovated. Spotlessly clean, very refined. Rooms designed with taste and with attention to detail, feel special. Awesome location for access to all that one would want to see in old city and beyond, and yet very quiet, good sound proofing.

It is a great hotel for a short stay as it doesn’t have a gym or pool or much in the way of communal areas. Not a problem if you are spending the day out sightseeing as we did and only returned to the hotel to sleep. Also, it is quite expensive, but I felt it was doable for 2 nights.

This is a new hotel and it is spectacular! From the moment we arrived at the property, until the moment we left, we were treated like family. Every member of the team was exceptional and incredibly friendly. We ate at the hotel the first night and it was superlative - Sonnie - our waiter gave great recommendations and was lots of fun. The concierge - Yigit, booked a wonderful Bosphorus cruise and made some outstanding restaurant recommendations. The night manager was very welcoming and the team upgraded our room upon arrival. If you are looking for an epicurean adventure - this is your hotel! From the architecture to the food, the interior design to the people - every aspect was first class!

There was nothing we did not like!

A beautiful hotel located in the heart of the Old Town of Istanbul. All major historical attractions are within a footstep away from this property, making it an excellent choice for anyone wishing to explore the city. The property is also located next to major tram lines and ferry terminals, making access to all areas of Istanbul (i.e. New Town, Asian side, Balat Neighbourhood in the west) easily accessible for those wishing to explore those areas. The staff were also great - we arrived early in the morning at around 8am and while other hotels were insisting on charging us an extra night for the visit, the hotel kindly offered to let us check in in the early hours of the morning. Of course, we cannot assume that this will be available for all guests but it was great for them to do this for us. The staff were also very helpful towards local attractions, restaurants etc in the area, and provided helpful recommendations for what to do in the city. The rooms themselves were well kept up and clean. I had high expectations for this property given the price but it still felt value for money and an excellent choice. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the city and it would certainly be my choice if I were to visit Istanbul again.

Nothing. This did not impact me as I did not intend to make use of such facilities but there is no gym on site, which may impact the decision making of certain travelers. Otherwise, there was no issues with the property at all - excellent property and excellent stay.

Everything was exceptional. The welcoming staff, the beautiful design, chic and modern in a historic building. Location perfect, near all the major attractions, close to the Tram, safe. We were a family of 6, walking safely around til late. The rooms are large and beautifully decorated with plenty of toiletries. The breakfast is a la carte with good variety and quality. The library bar is a nice place to chill and enjoy great cocktails til late at night.

No critics just i would add some fruits to the breakfast menu and a stand lamp to the room for more lighting .

It was quite different from many five-star properties I had visited previously. It was steeped in History and culture, and the decor was opulent but magnificent. But the most exceptional part of the hotel was its staff. Mr. Bahadur in the front office is one of the most self-effacing, confident, and extraordinarily helpful people I have met. Hasan and Kemal at the concierge desk help you with anything you ask them. If not, they at least try hard. As you enter Sansarayan Han, it lets you know you are in an exceptional place, opening up its warm embrace. And, of course, the real luxury begins once you enter the room; the linen, toiletries, furniture, et al. exude class. The library bar is a fairly sophisticated place to have some really easy conversations or even to talk to yourself. And I definitely can't end this without mentioning the best lamb chops ever on the all-night menu.

Car access was become a bit of a problem. My brother-in-law used the gym in your sister hotel, adjacent. He thought it was tiny.

Amazing 2-day stay at this new hotel in Istanbul. The caring staff made me feel very welcome and safe. The room was beautifully decorated with a super comfy bed. The hotel's location is perfect, very close to all the main attractions. Highly recommend!

There was nothing to dislike; it was perfect. My only recommendation is for the restaurant. The food is amazing, especially the Turkish breakfast, but it would be great to have a different menu for lunch and dinner.
