Location and the staff especially Mr. Basher, amazing man. I am the guy who used to stay atleast 4 star hotel . Honestly speaking hotel was 2 star. But reception of Me. Basher and waiter hussain was amazing enough to change my decision. Location was top notch at exact ideal place

Mado breakfast was with limited option. My things got stolen , i bought scarf for my daughters, i believe that it is stolen by lady worker while cleaning in my absence . I understand that she stole it mayb for her kids so i sinply ignored. Day tour and airport taxi so much expensive

Everything was great!! The hotel is one of the cleanest and most beautiful I've been in, I can't believe is rated 2 stars as it's way better than many 4 stars! The staff was all so professional they contacted me in advance, asking if they could help with airport transport (which we didn't need) and they did all they could to let us know if we could check-in earlier, given that we were very tired after our night on a bus. We left our heavy luggage before we checked in and after we checked out, so we could spend our last hours in Istanbul more relaxed. Beyond polite staff and cleaness, another extra is peace and insonorisation: it's true the hotel is among other buildings, so you don't actually get to see any view, but is also great because is very intimate and shielded from the streets' lights and noise, it may be among the most quiet hotels in Istanbul; if you're also bothered by the daily prayer, it won't be that much of a bothering for as much as you can hear it. The room was exactly as described; very clean room, quite spacious, bathroom and sheets perfectly clean, and nothing was missing. It made our staying for four days relaxing and safe, cleaning took place every day and the room's temperature was ok. Turkish breakfast served upstairs at the nearby Mado cafè was variated and very welcome considering you need to wander around Istanbul the whole day and you may not know the right places to have breakfast nor be willing to search for them at that time in the morning. While the neighbourhood is quite active, even at night, is far from unsafe, and the position is perfect, right in from of the Eminönö tram and ferry stops: either you want to reach the Prince' Islands, Beyoğlu or Sultanahmed Square, you have access to public transport right in front of home.

I'd only suggest two small correction: whenever you're not in the room, the minibar stops working due to the lack of power - you get it from your card. It would be great if it worked, at least during summertime, to keep the water cold while the guests are out. As for the water boiler, I don't blame the cleaning staff, they porbably must have missed it, so it's fine: it needs to be cleaned, in oir room it featured noodles remains from the previous guests, but that's the only wrong thing I could find in this hotel.

The hotel has a very good location, next to the tram station and with good shopping areas (Sirkeci train station area). The hotel has a spacious reception room. The staff is very friendly and polite. The room is beautifully decorated, the bed is very comfortable. The cleanliness is very good. The hotel collaborates with the MADO restaurant, which offers a 20% discount for breakfast (which is excellent).

Although the bathroom is quite large, I would have liked a flexible shower. The fan didn't work, and the faucet pipe at the sink didn't have a screen, causing splashes.

Nice, clean hotel. Perfect location. Friendly staff. We’ve booked deluxe double room which was very spacious. The room is at level 6. If you’re travelling with elderly or disabled person, please take note that the elevator is until level 5 only. T1 Sirkeci tram station and Sirkeci marmaray station is right in front of the hotel. Eminonu pier is within walking distance. All attractions at Sultanahmet are within walking distance or just 2 tram station away. Overall Fatih area, Beyoglu area and Asia side, are easily accessible from this hotel. Breakfast was included at Mado level 1. Iron is not provided, bring your travel iron if needed.

It was our first time in Istanbul. Hotel staff was very polite. They spoke English which helps. They were able to guide us. Location is excellent. Tram station right across the street. street food and restaurants right there. Easy to reach all the major tourist spots from here. The staff also obliged to our requests. spacious room. cleaning lady very sweet and always gave us water bottles before we left outside for the day.

The hotel is fantastic, the inside decor makes it feel very luxurious, it's in an excellent location with the tram stop literally outside the entrance so you can quickly travel to many hotspots. The breakfast served is also quite nice, a good variety and tastes pretty good too. Its the same thing pretty much every day but you can definitely make enough combinations to keep it from getting boring. The staff are very friendly too. .

My only complaint would be that the ventilation is a bit iffy especially in the bathroom. So it can get a bit stuffy.

The hotel was perfectly located, only 200m from the water and in a bustling area full of shops and restaurants.The staff were very polite and went out of their way to help. The room was wonderful. It was large and very comfortable with a big TV and good WiFi plus a fridge and tea & coffee making facilities with a kettle. Also a lovely big shower..

The only thing that was lacking in the room was more power points. The breakfast at the restaurant next door was generally disappointing, especially the hot food which was generally not hot and not replaced regularly.

Location is center of oldtown Istanbul. Convenient to traveling around places via tram bus or just waking. Room larger than our experience although in downtown. Breakfast is expected to variety but its all the same in 4 days we had stayed there. Unfortunately we stayed among muslim celebration date which plenty of guests so 2 days at that time the food is not sufficient. However, hotel staffs are very kind of services. Housekeepers are excellent in cleaning. Air condition is good made us warming through days we stay.

The location was excellent. It is close to all the restaurants, sightseeing and transportation services. The room was spacious. Also, the staff from receptionist to the cleaners were very friendly and supportive. I would definitely book this place again.

The view was the window of the hotel next to us. This did not seem to be a problem for us as we were out all the time.

This hotel is an extraordinary place for normal travellers, who doesn't search for spa, swimming pool etc. If you want to explore the city, to have an usual, but clean service, this place is great to stay. Location is perfect. The tram which takes you to the most significent tourist spots is in front of the hotel, as well as undersea metro, which takes you to Asian side. Eminonu square (for boat tours) is 8min walk from the hotel, as well as Hagia Sophia etc. We were for 6 nights, and we would come next time in the same hotel again. Breakfast was good, you can always pick something different. People were very kind both in hotel and restaurant. I was very happy with cleaning staff. They cleaned room everyday and changed the towels. I didn't have that experience in other hotels when I was in Istanbul before. We were in January, the room was warm. You can set the temperature as you want. Beds were also comfortable. We booked triple bedroom.So everything was pretty normal and nice. I definitly recommend this place...
