generally it was good, the stuff r so helpful and kind, well located 6 mins to the bus stop and 13 mins to the metro station, the area is safe so no worries.

I could appreciate a breakfast in the property

The hotel was clean and well-maintained, with daily housekeeping. Some of the staff were friendly, which we appreciated, but this is also where guests should be cautious. While the owner initially came across as warm and welcoming, it ultimately felt disingenuous.

I strongly advise against booking a taxi through the hotel. We agreed on a $50 fare to the airport, which is the standard rate. However, after receiving the payment, the driver claimed we had to pay extra due to traffic and a supposed detour because the president had arrived in the city. While such delays would be understandable, the route taken was exactly the same as when we arrived—no traffic, no detours. We ended up paying double the agreed amount, which felt like outright theft. Additionally, we found two cockroaches in the room

The hotel is placed in a wonderful location next to Taxim Square and the Istiklal Street. The Galata Tower is only 20 minutes away by feet, and Agia Sofia is almost an hour, but the route is really nice and pleasant, although you can always go faster using the tram. Our room was very clean and comfortable and we had daily room service, after asking each day separately, if it's ok! Every time the gave us clean towels and 2 bottles of water. Our host was really friendly, kind and also really helpful ! He gave very useful advice for our walks into the city and helped us organize them. Additionally, there was always someone in the reception 24/7 which made us feel safe and comfortable. The hotel was very quiet, ideal for relaxing after a busy day in the city. All in all our stay was wonderful and we will choose it again without second thoughts!

Superb location in a picturesque neighborhood, 5 minutes from Taksim Square. Shops very close and nice restaurants to hang out and smoke shisha too. The hotel has been clearly renovated and we really loved the in-floor heating. The room was spacious, as well as the bathroom and the little sofa helps to chill! The staff is super friendly (both receptionists from Pakistan are lovely and so is the receptionist from Iran - Xerxes hi!). Even the cleaning lady is nice and she cleans any time you exit the room - very unusual for a hotel to wait until past midday and very nice approach!!

The room had a water leak at some point I believe, a repaint of the ceiling would remove the marks and make it brand new. It was not something I did not like, just feedback. The only thing I would change is get rid of the mini-bar and change it with a proper mini fridge :)

Have stayed before and it is a nice, simple hotel in a killer location. The staff are friendly and the room with the tiny balcony is worth it as you have a space to get a breather. All is all very good experience and would definitely stay again.

The only thing I did not like was that the cleaning staff forgot our door unlocked one day. I am sure it was an honest mistake but nevertheless I have to withtrack a point for this.

Basement room is a bit depressing as it is often dark and gloomy

Our stay at the hotel exceeded our expectations and was a refreshing change from previous experiences. The hotel looked exactly like the pictures, which was a relief. The staff were exceptionally kind, helpful, and proficient in English, making our stay even more comfortable. The room was spacious and cozy, perfectly accommodating two people. What truly won us over was the location. The entire lane was charming, filled with natural light, and had a wonderful vibe. Plus, it was within walking distance of Taksim, adding to the convenience. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

It was a very nice little hotel with good access to transport links in the local area. We were able to walk 5 minutes to Taksim square to travel further across Istanbul. The hotel itself was very nice and clean. We stayed in a small twin room which was perfect for us, and clean towels were provided every day.

There is no breakfast provided so you have to find somewhere to eat yourself, but it is made clear in the booking so that you know in advance. Also no guests are allowed in the room except for those who have paid to stay - that was fine for us as we didn't need to invite anyone in but it's worth noting for anyone else who is considering that for their visit.

I had a wonderful stay at Sel Suite. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my visit. I especially appreciated the cleanliness of the room, the comfortable bed, and the quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to relax. And also the reception Farid very helpful person.

Very good placing of the hotel. Everything close. Good air conditioning, modern room. Very friendly staff.

My bedside table was very dirty, with burn and wine marks. There were some problems with the paint.
