Location is amazing. Main places are in walking distance. The street itself is absolutely beautiful! The room is nice and clean, comfortable for 2 people. Staff was very nice and welcoming. There is always someone at the reception. They can order you ar taxi if you need, or advise places to eat.

The location is easily accessed with the Metro from the Istanbul Airport. It is also in the walking distance to the shopping areas of Taksim and Galata with a lot of shops and restaurants but still in the quiet lane which will make you have a good sleep. The room is large enough to open 2 big luggage and have space to walk around.

If you need to open the air-condition, prepare for the noise. It is up on the hill side, easy to walk down to other areas but will take energy to walk back in the evening after the whole day sightseeing unless you take the furnicular.

The hotel has an excellent location as it's right next to Istiklal street. The room and bathroom are perfectly clean and well equipped. The bed is very comfortable. The staff is very helpful and nice. I highly recommend staying at this hotel as you feel very welcome, comfortable and safe.

The room was very clean and located in a quiet street in the busy neighbourhood of Galata. Our room was on the top floor but thankfully there is an elevator so we didn't have to carry our luggage up. Our room had a little terrace which looked out to the nearby rooftops and had a nice sunset view. The staff were very polite and helped us to arrange a taxi to the airport.

Please keep in mind that the windows aren't soundproof and we could clearly hear the calls to prayer everyday. The ceilings are also quite low so it may be an issue if you are above average height.

Near most tourist attractions. Staff is super helpful and friendly, offered to help with joining tours and organising cabs. The room itself is clean. Towels are replaced every other day.

Some corners of the shower area turned a bit black and may need extra cleaning but I found this in two other hotels so not sure if it’s the water in the city. Small suggestions to have some cloth hangers in the room and a better hair dryer. Hair dryer was vibrating badly when used.

This is a hotel located on one of the most popular streets in Istanbul - Istyklal. It means everything we needed was in walking distance and we felt safe. The metro station is in 5 min walk from this place which is a big plus. Surprisingly, it was very quiet in the room even though our windows were open at night. The staff were very friendly. Our room was cleaned every day during our 3-day stay.

You can’t find a better location to stay. The room was spacious, had a separate entrance and a really comfortable bed. The staff was very welcoming.

Unfortunately the shower room was quite dirty, there was grime on the door that was coming off and “melting” into the floor while you’re taking the shower so you end up standing in it… the big shower was also not working so you had to use the shower head which was quite annoying. The terrace was also dirty, the floor wasn’t even swept, also lacked any sort of light. The terrace area has a little roof above so it’s very dark even during the day, after sunset there is no option of seating outside as it’s pitch black. As we were staying for 2 nights only it was all bearable but can imagine that some people would find it very disappointing.

We were on the top floor kind of like an attic so the ceiling was a bit low and it was pretty hot in the room when you dont put the ac (my mom is allergic to the ac) but during the night with the door open it was ok. Wifi wasnt the best but ive seen worst. Also the pillow were wayyy too big

Convenient location. Nice spacious room with small balcony. There's only few rooms inside the building, less chance of bumping into other travellers. We love the little local tea shop just opposite the hotel, must try. The toast is simple and good too.

Our room is right above the small road, mainly musical instrument shops on both side of road, in the morning when work activities started, it could be a bit noisy for some people who's intolerance of noise. But compare to the shopping street nearby, the hotel's location is really on a quieter side.

Though the SNOG building did not have its own reception staff, there was reception available 24/7 next door. There is a shared reception. They tried to help as much as possible. The staff was friendly, the place was clean and the rooms were big.

The hallway lights turned off automatically after 5 seconds (literally), which was not usually enough time to lock/unlock your door. There was a lip in front of the door which I tripped on. If the lights were on then maybe this would not have happened. You need to climb the hill to get to your hotel. There is no soundproofing so you can hear people in the corridor as well as the street quite easily. This hotel is not for light sleepers.
