Wonderful location and spacious room - charming coffee shop

Breakfast was a joke - just a plate with Turkish stuff sent to your room and no beverage included at all or a fruit platter if that did not suit you - that is not breakfast - they should not be allowed to have a breakfast as an option as it makes it seem that it is actually included - not worth the extra at all - it is deceptive. TV reception was dodgy and channels were very very limited.

The staff was helpful. The room was comfortable and a bit bigger than it looks in pictures. The location was perfect. It is in the middle of the market, though we didn't get the view of Galata tower from our room, but the moment we stepped outside the hotel, we could see Galata Tower, barely 100m. I would definitely recommend the hotel

The Wilson Hotel offers an ideal location for an Istanbul trip. From our windows, we could see the Galata Tower. The street it’s on is lined with design stores and vintage shops, surprisingly quiet and conducive to a good night’s sleep. The subway station is just a 5-minute walk away, and the Istiklal is conveniently located nearby. There’s also a grocery store within a minute’s walk if you need anything. The interiors are beautifully designed with earthy tones, and the amenities in our Deluxe Room were everything we could ask for. Unlike some reviews, our shower was spacious for our room. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, promptly answering our questions and requests.

My wife and I enjoyed the spacious room with a great view and the hotel’s location. The day staff were friendly, but the night staff were unhelpful when our AC broke on two separate nights. We were told nothing could be done until 9 AM, which left us unable to sleep and disrupted our plans the next day.

Communication between staff and management, as well as overall organization, clearly needs improvement. The bathroom also needed better cleaning. We requested a reimbursement and were partially accommodated after speaking with the manager. Overall, a nice hotel with room for improvement in cleanliness, staff communication, and responsiveness.

An excellent boutique hotel in a vibrant and quirky area. Very warm, friendly and welcoming staff. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We've been to Istanbul many times and stayed in different areas, and types of hotels, but this is by far our favourite spot. We would definitely go back and highly recommend it. It's the perfect little spot with access to many restaurants, shops, cafes etc. Steep, vibrant, interesting streets, so make sure you have your walking shoes. It's about a 2 mins walk to the Galata tower and 30 mins walk to the Grand Bazar if you're interested. I liked that you can choose when to have your room cleaned rather than room service waking you up in the mornings. We always asked for it to be cleaned when we went out, and by the time we got back it was spotless. Water, coffee tea in the room every day as well as toiletries. We will be back!

Great location, very efficient and friendly staff, good breakfast (cheese, cheese pie, olives, bread, butter, shakshuka, veggies, salad, jam, honey, local sausage - basturma). Clean. Provide bottled water. Just few steps from Galata Tower.

Very tough pillows, I would prefer less thick and more soft). If you want to have breakfast on time, better order beforehand, it’s brought from a nearby cafe and it takes time. We booked a transfer from the airport that never arrived. Though I doublechecked it. We had to take local driver instead. Same price. But 40 minutes more at the airport 🤷‍♀️.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was big and comfortable, air conditioned with clean and stylish furniture. The bathroom was super spacious and looked brand new, which was a nice surprise. The staff were all really friendly and polite, which made everything feel easy and welcoming. There’s also a cozy little café downstairs—we went there a couple of times for tea and coffee, and it was always a nice spot to relax. Location was very close to Galata tower and Istiklal Cad, facing to a lovely street yet very quiet and peaceful. Also, easy access to light rail train and ferry stations. Overall, everything was just right. I’d happily stay here again!

better to supply more and newer towels in the bathroom.

Talk to me the best location in Istanbul, quiet and quaint down a lovely small Street, yet only walks to some of the main attractions and cool districts. The staff were incredibly hospitable. The coffee was exceptional as well, very convenient to have in the lobby. The rooms themselves were amazingly spacious and comfortable as well. Many great amenities such as the kitchen and couch. Will definitely stay again.

The walls are very thin. It all depends on who you get next to you, and some of the guests seemed inconsiderate and is regard, being loud and rambunctious and rambunctious fairly often at night.

The room itself was stand-out. It was well laid out, using the space available nicely. We enjoyed the styling and its large size. AC and Wi-Fi both worked perfectly during our stay. Location is good if you want to be right in the heart of the neighbourhood, reasonable walking distance to public transport.

There is not much for a lobby, just a reception desk at the back of a café. The area is a full of narrow hilly streets, our airport shuttle struggled to find the location and got also got stuck due to cars going up the wrong way, just make sure to plan extra time.

The location is great if you want to stay in a touristic area. The Galata Tower is visible from the street in front of the hotel, as shown in the photos. The room was very spacious, and there was also a small kitchenette, perfect for preparing a quick dinner or breakfast if you ever get tired of Turkish food — though honestly, how could anyone get tired of those fantastic flavors? I was really impressed with the value for money at this property, where everything is new and the details are carefully attended to. The staff were extremely friendly, kind, and helpful. They also gave me useful information for my taxi ride to the airport.

The day I arrived, there was an issue with the Wi-Fi and the internet wasn’t working, but it was resolved later that evening.
