Everything except internet. The apartments at 3rd floor (superior apartment) and the 4th floor (apartment with seaview) are just amazing. They are clean, comfortable and come with proper facilities, and the view over the sea, shore house line, and the nearby church is just picturesque. The staff were quite friendly too. The neighborhood is also full of friendly residents and stores. The best pide place in Istanbul (Yoremiz) is just 3 minutes away on foot. Of course no elevator was an issue, especially with luggage and/or for older people but no complaint there as this was clear from the description and also this is the price to pay when residing in this lovely neighborhood. Would have loved to give it a 10 if it were not for the internet!!

Internet is easily one of the (if not the) worst among all places I've visited in the past two decades of travelling! Two days of absolutely no internet and 2-3 days of extremely slow (nearly unsuable) internet. And this is out of a 8 day stay. So, if you have work to do, do NOT rely on the internet. I could get by with a 20G Turkish simcard that I bought in Istanbul. And of course I did complain multiple times and they were responsive but they did not fix it whatsoever.

We stayed in the apartment with my family and enjoyed our stay a lot. The location is perfect: five minutes walk from Galata tower and Istiklal. The apartment is quite cozy and has everything you need to cook a meal or have a coffee. We picked the basic room (without terrace), but we still had a very nice area near the window where we could eat breakfast. The hosts were very caring and nice. I highly recommend this place.

It's nice,good size apartment but definitely needs attention. Though it's clean but walls don't look nice. Washing Machine should be replaced as the one we had basically tear you clothes because of drum missing parts in it. Close to Istiklal and metro and tram station but any direction it's very hilly. In general, I liked it but wouldn't be in rush to come back.

Bedding. The pillow cases (or pillows) same as blanket had not really nice smell. Mattress definitely needs to be changed. It could be pricy in high season. As we were in March it was OK. But wouldn't pay any much more as it's not worth it.

Location - close to both the old city and the new city, very close to public transport, be it metro or trams and buses. The terrace and the view from it - excellent for winding down at night or to have a cup of coffee in the morning sun. The apartment is comfortable and airy. A very welcomed cold bottle of water waiting for you in the fridge.

The absence of a shower soap or gel and a coffee pod machine would also be nice.

Beautiful space, with a lovely terrace, well decorated living space, and a more than adequate bathroom and kitchen. The apartment is extremely well located and the top floor gives a lot of privacy. It’s a beautiful space to wake up and have breakfast in. The management was very kind to help us also with our luggage upon requests made in advance. They also supported us with another couple of requests.

The mattress and bedding are worn out and not very comfortable. Changing these would make this place absolutely perfect. Also we didn’t mind, but it’s a four floor walk up like many buildings in the area.

We had a very nice stay at this apartment. The view is amazing! We didn't really cook so we cannot comment on the kitchen. But the apartment was comfortable, quiet and well appointed.

We did have a problem with the washing machine. It had a sharp piece in the drum and it ruined my wife's robe and nightgown. We let the owner know, so we are sure he will fix it. Also, you should be aware that this apartment is up 2 very steep flights of stairs and on a very steep hill, but the location is very good.

The location is amazing! Is 3’ from galata tower and 5’ from the tram Tophane station. The house was small but convenient and had amazing view from the balcony.

The only thing that was inconvenient was that the bathroom was in the same room as the bedroom, so the people that will sleep on the couches need to pass through the room to go to the bathroom.

Location is perfect - a few minutes away from the tube station, Galata, the main shopping street. The building and the interior design of the apartment is lovely - old but matches the atmosphere of the city perfectly. The view from the terrace on the 3rd floor is stunning.

The mattress and pillows were uncomfortable; a small duvet.

Excellent communication and support from owners with specific mention. Of WhatsApp and speedy help with questions. Excellent location if you sre fine with hills. Very spacious and well appointed. Lots of shelves and places to put things. Good washing machine. Shutters good for light and sound.

A great place. Mattress could be better… a bit uneven.

Everything was very well organized and clean. Hot shower. We had a really good stay. Location is wonderful! Close to Galata tower. We rented a car and there’s 2 parking lots close by. Metro station close. Great restaurants on the surroundings.

One thing that was a challenge in my stay was the stairs. We were on the third floor with large luggage. That was hard.
