The interior style and decoration of room was nice and tasteful. Bed was large and comfortable, great to have desk. Close to lots of touristy restaurants so lots of options, but a 15 minute walk uphill to the tram, which adds up over a few days. Manager was generally helpful and responsive.

Hotel was close to mosque so it was noisy when the call to prayer was broadcasted, especially in early morning. Also could smell smoke a few times a day even though all rooms are meant to be non-smoking. Management tried to control but could still smell. Shower has no door so water goes everywhere.

Location is good: about 15 minutes by foot to Blue Mosque and Sultanahmet square. And very close to restaurants street. The hotel's street is quite. But the hotel located near the Mosque. So, 5 times a day you can hear call for pray. We like this sound, but 1st time it starts at 4.30 am. The room is not big, but so nise and cozy - in ottoman style. Bed is comfortable. Wi-fi is good only on the 1st floor (on the 3rd it's impossible to catch it) near reception desk and kitchen. We worked there. Hotel's team is helpful and hospitable. Can speak English, Russian, Turkish as well. The hotel is not big, but atmospheric, with a spiral wooden stairs - there is a feeling of old Istanbul. In hotel 3 floors - no elevator. I can recommend it for about 3-4 nights to feel an old part of the city

The owner Osman is very nice and he is there for any kind of help. The location of the accommodation is in a great place, two minutes from the train, which you only need one stop to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Suleiman Square. From the location to the Hagia Sophia, you have a 20-minute walk across the small square where all the cobblestones meet, which are full of restaurants where you can try great food and enjoy Turkish music.

I've had a lovely stay at this hotel for a week. Abdullah the manager was so patient and accommodating. The placement is perfect, around the corner from kumkapi metro station and about a 10 min walk to the bus. It is located in a lively, familiar neighbourhoud which gives you a taste of the local turkish everyday life. The hotel itself was lovely, with a cute cosy vide. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Overall, i would come back again .. highly recommend !

Nothing much. The sound proofing was a bit lacking, but that's the case with most buildings in old istanbul. I wasn't too bothered with it, but i was afraid to wake up the neighbours with my early wake up calls

Usman really adds good vibes to this place, such a cool and friendly boy! - The AC was pretty good - The bathroom looked renewed - Good water presure - The location is 10000/10 - The price was quite good considering it is Istanbul - The internet speed was quite good. I was able to work without interruptions

- The fitted sheet just covered 3/4 of the mattress which was a bit uncomfortable as 1/4 of the matress was uncovered - Would be nice to add darker curtains

I liked it because the room was so comfy and clean. Also the location is very very central... there are many restaurants nearby and also is 10 mnt walking from sultan Ahmed mosque . It's ideal for shopping... I really recommend it. The owner was very kind he helped us to find all the things we were looking for.

Close to cultural sites and food places. Authentic local flavor staying at an old section of town. Pleasant local interiors - custom tile and wood details feels like a home, unlike a hotel. The host / innkeeper tries hard to make your stay enjoyable - accommodating an earlier than 2pm check-in, preparing coffee and tea when requested, providing raincoat and umbrella on rainy day so you can keep touring,

Bathroom exhaust fan did not remove smells and moisture - suggest replacement. Bathroom shower stall water splashes out leaving entire tiny bathroom floor wet during stay - suggest a curtain. Bar soap is not supplied and if you purchase bar soap from local store, there is no place for it - suggest soap ledge. One can hear other guests from your room at night - suggest enforcing a noise curfew, maybe after 10 pm.

The placement is really good. Close to central-Istanbul. 15-20 min walk to major areas. Great local restaurants nearby. For the price, it's a great place. Nothing huge, nothing fancy; just an apartment made into a hotel, for a great price.

However the placement is also really bad. It's in the poor area of Istanbul. 10-15 min uphill walk to the nearest tram-line (closer one is being currently being build - expected to be done in q4 2023 (more like 2024 in it's current state)). The walls/windows to the outside are not isolated properly. Curtains are see-through.

This Hotel is really nice and comfy. Bed was super comfortable. Room was very clean and cozy, towels and stuff for shower were provided. The staff was very nice and polite. Also you can do very late check in which is good. Location is good compared to rest of Istanbul which is crazy :D

HOWEVER!! In our room there was NO WIFI at all! In my opinion this should be specified when you book because for Europeans it is important! When you book you should ask for a room with wifi otherwise you have to stay downstairs at reception in order to connect. Also bring some ear plugs because at 5AM every morning the sound of "Muezzin" is VERY loud.

I’ve loved hotel, it’s very cosy, safe and I loved the decor, great location, only one street away from a busy area with restaurants and a short walk to all main tourist attractions. I also easier got an Uber to the airport. The receptionist is really helpful and friendly. I actually loved the call to prayer every morning from the mosque next door, it added to the experience of istanbul!

Would have been great to have Wi-Fi in the room, I had to buy a roaming package and it meant I that I couldn’t watch movies when I returned after dinner.
