There are plenty small cafes in a 1 min vicinity of the hotel and I tried some of them for my breakfast. Besides, one may have breakfast on the top terrace but I did not used this possibility. Location is very good: It takes about 20-30 min to reach the main tourist attraction spots in Istanbul. Besides, the hotel is very close to a train station (100 meters distance) and the sea (about 5 min walk). The locals swim in the sea but I would not recommend it. I enjoyed walking along the shore. I think the hotel location is perfect in any sense.

We stayed with my wife, kids, and parents at La Vien Hotel for 3 days. It’s located in a lively neighborhood with many small shops and nice seafood restaurants. Not fancy, more for locals, but at the same time close to the main tourist attractions. Since it’s in an old historical building, there’s no elevator and the staircase is quite steep. In our case it wasn’t an issue, but if you have knee problems, better think twice. Rooms are very clean and the service is great! Ufuk, the hotel manager, helped us organize transfers, carried all the luggage up and down, gave tips on the best places to eat, and in general made the impression of a man who never sleeps – almost instant responses and always ready to help. And the bonus is the terrace. It has a small kitchen and a fridge where you can store some food and prepare your own breakfast – with an outstanding view of the Bosphorus. A big plus: there’s no direct sun in the morning or evening. So overall, I can definitely recommend this place if you like discovering local neighborhoods. And people like Ufuk make the whole experience a great journey :)

There’s no elevator, and it’s simply not possible to install one there.

In our case it wasn’t an issue, but if you have issues with your knees, better to think twice. Rooms are very clean and service is great! Ufuk, hotel Manager, helped us to organize transfers, carried all the laggage top and down, gave hints about best places to eat and in general made an impression of a man that never sleeps - close to immediate response times and readiness to help in any situation. And the bonus is the terrace. It has a small kitchen and a fridge where you can store some food and make your own breakfast with an outstanding view on Bosfor. Huge advantage is that there is no direct sun in the morning and in the evening. So overall I can recommend this place if you like to discover local neighborhoods. And ppl like Ufuk make this experience a great journey :)

There is no elevator, but it is impossible to place it there

The hotel is very well located, with a metro station and bus stop just a few meters away, allowing you to easily travel downtown Istanbul. Omar was an excellent host who helped us a lot. Our flight was delayed several hours, and we arrived almost at midnight. He kindly waited for us at the reception and provided any information we needed. The room was clean. On the terrace, there is a small kitchen with a refrigerator and utensils in case you want to cook. The view of the seaport from the terrace is very nice. The hotel stored our luggage after check out with no charge. Totally recommended.

Nice cozy place. Full support from owner, young gentleman Mr.Ömer. We had everything in our room, shower gel, shampoo , slippers. Rooms very clean. All my best wishes

The room was cozy, comfortable and spacious The bathroom was a good size and everything worked well. The terrace was beautiful with views of the sea. Great for making a meal or breakfast. Omer was a great host, very communicative. He checked in daily with guests for their needs He was very friendly, kind and flexible. Hotel very clean, no bugs at all. Great safe neighborhood, convenient to restaurants,,shops and easy walk to the historical area and tram. strong wifi very quiet

The hotel is in a great location, you can reach all the most important landmarks in about 15-20 min walk (Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar). If you want to go to the port and take a ferry to the asian side, there's a direct tram taking you there literally 30 seconds away from the hotel. The room was very clean and had all the necessary facilities (kettle, tea/coffee, mini fridge, AC). Breakfast was served in a lovely small cafe, around 50 m away from the hotel. It usually consisted of cold plates (ham, cheese, wegetables, some marmalade) + something warm prepared just for you (omelette, scrambled eggs, sausages etc - everyday we had something different). Everything fresh and tasty. The host was extremely nice and helpful. I totally recommend this place for your stay in Istanbul!

Nice room in Sultanahmet close to a lot of restaurant and a 20min walk/tram to most tourist attractions. The room has a fridge, AC and a kettle.The building has a nice terrace with a great view. Very nice staff that helped me find my next accommodation and responded quickly to my WhatsApp messages

Great location, only 15-20min to Hagia Sophia or Blue Mosque. Our room was clean and the host was super nice, he prepared for us really delicious Turkish breakfast (it was served on the terrace with a view of the sea)! We recommend this place :)
