Excellent hospitality and customer service. Breakfast and cafe were fantastic. Faruq, Yusuf, and Hüseyin are all very kind and great hosts. The location is perfect, it's tucked in some lively small streets. Lots of essential places nearby and a short walk to the major sites of Old City. Rooms are nicely renovated. Would happily stay again.

The buildings in the area are old so it can get chilly, but we were provided space heaters. It is located in a lively part of the old city, so if you are sensitive to noise or don't stay up late, it might not be ideal for you.

Very, very hospitable, the host is eager to help with everything! Internet is sufficient for off-camera meetings, the veranda in the sea view room is a great place to work online even in November if it's not raining. There is a fridge and kettle in the room. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, so you won't stay hungry, and in the evening you can enjoy live music right from the veranda. As for the location, the sights of the old town are within walking distance, and it's easy to get to the metro or tram (even if google maps scares you that it takes 25 minutes to walk). But the neighbourhood doesn't feel safe at first. If you prefer neighbourhoods similar to European districts with pedestrian zones and chains of well-known retailers, then don't look for a hotel here at all - look for something in the Galata Tower area.

I don't agree with other users' glowing reviews about the breakfast. The portions were too small, hot food (e.g. scrambled egg) was not always offered. The ventilation in the toilet did not turn off, so the first night it was absolutely impossible to sleep because of the noise. It is worth mentioning that the host turned off the ventilation the very next day at my request. On the last night there was a power cut in the area, so the hotel opposite switched on a power generator, the noise of which could be compared to an aeroplane turbine - another sleepless night.

There are no words for this place. It was our first time in Istanbul and we couldn’t choose a better place to stay. Hüseyin, the owner and host, is an exceptional person. Very friendly and helpful. He also cooks a delicious breakfast every morning. The room was very cozy and comfortable, the shower is very relaxing after a long trip. The room was clean and organised with fresh towels, every time we came back from a touristy day. The location is very good. We visited almost every place by foot from Sultanahmet to the Galataport, but if you prefer, there are tram and train stations and bus stop close to the property as well. If I come back to Istanbul in the future I would love to stay at Golden Arrow again.

The only thing it’s they should let us know that there is no breakfast on Sundays. It’s not a big deal as there are plenty of cafes and restaurants around but, if we knew about it earlier, we could change the plans.

Our stay was simply wonderful. The room was exactly as described, spotless, cozy, and with perfectly working air conditioning. Housekeeping was done regularly with fresh linens and towels provided. The location is excellent, within walking distance to many tourist attractions and very close to public transport, just 3 to 4 minutes to the train and 8 minutes to the tram. Downstairs, the property has a lovely café where you can enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner. Water was always complimentary and sometimes we were surprised with free treats like Turkish tea or coffee, baklava, Turkish delight, or fresh watermelon. Breakfast included in the room price was fresh, plentiful, and varied, the perfect start to the day. Huseyin, our amazing host, was always ready to help, whether it was booking a Bosphorus cruise, organizing a trip to the Princes’ Islands, or arranging our transfer back to the airport. His kindness and hospitality truly made our stay unforgettable.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Istanbul! The location is excellent – close to many attractions, restaurants, and public transportation, making it easy to explore the city. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout my stay. I especially appreciated how flexible and accommodating he was with check-in and other requests. Overall, a great experience – I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul!

The location, the food and the culture is unmatched. The exceptional service offered by the Host Hussein & his uncle was nothing short of excellence in care, safety and service.and even offered me a free upgrade just to make me happy, beautiful breakfast in the restaurant directly under the hotel was very convenient. I do regret that I didn't book longer in that hotel, I'm staying in taksim now. And I wish I booked my whole stay @ the golden arrow in fateh area. The value for money at the hotel and surrounding shopping is awesome compared to taksim.

Very nice and comfortable new place in the heart of the old town... all the historical landmarks is in walking distance. The owner is a very nice and helpful person, the rooms are clean, the bed is comfy and the shower is (small but) very good. The breakfast is very tasty and plentyful👌

We liked everything (that's why 10/10) but maybe We can help with some information and advices: - you can reach the owner everytime if you need something, but there is no reception (so take this into consideration if arrive early... contact the owner in advance) - the place is very close to old town centre, but the fist 5 minute walk is on a quite steep street (good workout after the lot of döner😅) - there are some nice restaurants near by, but (especially at weekend) nights could be little bit noisy because of them

My friend and I, had an amazing time in this hotel. The place was very cosy and exactly as the photos were taken. The most extra nice thing is the personnel, Hussein and his uncle were formidable, treated us like we were friends and always gave us advice for visit and accommodation. Take the breakfast included, he makes it himself and it is definitely worth it. The hotel location is perfect for all restaurants, bars and very close to the center, bus and train station. Best location and quality for the price. Thanks for having us and we will come back to visit for sure.

Not much to improve I will say. But if I need to put something, it will be for improvement then : the bathroom needs a Refresh furnitures and plumbing. Except those small details , nothing to add :) perfect

Very helpful and friendly owner - for him alone this hotel is worth choosing! Nice room in a very nice, classy and stylish building. Coffee/tea making facilities in the room. When we had to leave earlier than the start of breakfast, we were given sandwiches.

The glass separating the shower did not completely cover it, so it was hard not to spill water on the bathroom floor. Since it's a small 3-4 room hotel, breakfast is not buffet style, but prepared when you show up at the cafe. It is available from a very late hour (9.00!!), it takes a long time to prepare it, it is not abundant, you can't count on non-Turkish coffee (but - as I wrote above - when we had to leave early - we got sandwiches). I'm writing these comments to pass on the info, but I still rate the hotel 10/10.
