Location: The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's centrally located, making it convenient to explore the city. Moreover, it's incredibly close to the ferry and major tourist attractions Staff: The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Cleanliness: The cleanliness of the hotel exceeded my expectations; the rooms and common areas were impeccably maintained. Elevator: Having an elevator was a great convenience. Hospitality and Gifts: The hotel went above and beyond with thoughtful gestures, such as complimentary treats and even a room upgrade – a delightful surprise!

Elevator Size: The one drawback was that the elevator was a bit small, accommodating only two people comfortably. This became inconvenient, especially during peak times when a larger capacity would have been more practical. Noise: Another notable drawback was the insufficient sound insulation in the rooms. Improved insulation would greatly enhance the overall comfort of the stay.

I got sick and they sent me ginger tea to my room without me asking for it. look for Ismael he’s a dear, we were sad we couldn’t say goodbye before leaving. the room view was breathtaking, and even with my messiness they were able to clean the room perfectly and organize my stuff. location is also great, metro station, super market, pharmacy, currency exchange, river and galata tower, all is 2-5 minutes walking distance. galata port and Eminonu grand bazar are 20 minutes walking distance taksim square is 8 minutes away. bars and restaurants are less than 10 minutes walking distance. over all, location is close to everything.

I believe hotel should start thinking about creating breakfast included packages it would help allot.

- Amazing location: 5’ walking distance to Galata tower, Galata bridge and the district with bars and coffees. At Galata bridge you may take tram T1 which transport you in few minutes to main sights(Aya Sofia, topkapi, Sultanahmet camii, basilica Kinsterna, grand bazaar). Also, at Galata bridge (Eminonu) you may take the ferries to Asian side, besiktas, ortakoy etc. 15’ walking distance to Egyptian bazaar and Yeni camii. At the other side of Galata tower you may take tram T5 to Balat, fener and Patriarchate. - Magnificent view to Bosphorus, Yeni Camii, topkapi,Aya Sofia. From the room you can also enjoy golden hour. - All guys at reception are very supportive, provide detailed information and explain you everything you need. - Transport to airport (with charge) with comfortable car -At plus, every morning they offer filter coffee and simit (Turkish sesame bread rings) free of charge

Centrally located and within walking distance of attractions and the connecting metro from the airport. The staff were all fantastic, very attentive and nothing was too much hassle - excellent English which was a massive bonus for us. The service received for the price was exceptional, a very modern and clean hotel We needed an ice pack at 11:30pm and it was brought to our room door within 5 minutes after phoning the 24hour reception Wi-Fi connected TVs in the room which is better than the Sheraton Grand in Edinburgh If we were to return to Istanbul we would absolutely book again

The room was tidy and cleaned everyday, the view was amazing on the Golden Horn and some famous mosques. Staff were excellent and pleasant to deal with, they offered us tea and coffee (and it was for free). The location of the hotel is wonderful because you can get to the famous sights easily on foot or by public transport (tram, bus, subway, even ferries).

Some minor issues: 1. Wi-fi just turned off time to time (or lost connection). 2. the nearest mosque starts "signing" for praying at 4 am. It isn't a big deal but can bother you if you are sensitive in your sleep. 3. During our staying, there was odor (like from a sewer) time to time. 4. the TV is placed strangely, it is shifted from the bed and the bracket can't be rotated.

I highly recommend Union Hotel Karaköy! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was simply outstanding. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed — from restaurant recommendations to local tips. Their warmth and professionalism truly made us feel at home. Our room was spotless, stylish, and extremely comfortable, but what truly took our breath away was the stunning view. Waking up to that panorama every morning was magical. The location is also ideal — right in the heart of Karaköy, with everything within walking distance: cafes, restaurants, sights, and easy access to public transport. Everything about our stay was perfect. If you're visiting Istanbul and want a combination of elegance, comfort, and top-notch service, this is the place to be. We will absolutely be back!

We had a fantastic stay at the Union Hotel in Istanbul! The rooms were really comfortable, clean, and well-designed — perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. The location is excellent, close to many key attractions and with easy access to public transport. What really made our stay special was the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to give us great local recommendations and were always happy to help with any questions we had. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Istanbul — we’ll definitely be back!

This was my second time staying at Union Hotel, and it was just as great as the first! We had a beautiful sea view from our room on one of the higher floors. Seeing the city lit up at night and waking up to that view was such a treat. The staff were once again incredibly friendly and helpful. One evening around 9pm, they even helped us find a nearby restaurant that served delicious vegan Turkish dishes, which was such a thoughtful touch. We also really appreciated that they let us store our luggage at the hotel while we took a short trip to Cappadocia. It made our travel plans so much easier. Highly recommend this place — both for the comfort and the amazing service. Looking forward to staying again on our next visit to Istanbul!

Everything was perfect since the beginning. All the staff from the Union Hotel was very friendly to us during our whole stay. They treated us really well, they made us feel as home and they even gave us a welcome coffee and a capuccino just upon our arrival :) They were always ready to give us information about the city and recommendations of restaurants. The first night we arrived kind of late and we were a little bit hungry, they helped us to order food online and brought it to the room. Thanks! This was really helpful because everything was in Turkish. They also helped us to make a reservation for a Hamam, they managed everything for us, we were picked up and brought back to the hotel. They made everything feel really easy. We had really zero mental pressure thanks to them. Plus, the room was super clean, the bed was really confortable, the views were amazing! Waking up everyday with the view of the river and the mosques was a huge win. The hotel is also really well placed next to the tram, the metro, the ferry and historical center.
