Ilkay and staff were so welcoming and helpful, communication was excellent. They were always able to be contacted when I needed anything. My apartment was small and clean, perfect for one or two guests. I felt very secure at all times coming and going (very important for a solo woman traveller) and it was lovely to have a lift to get my luggage upstairs and also after a long day of walking. The location is extremely close to all the public transport options or even a leisurely stroll to the bazaars or Galata Tower, so getting about was a breeze. There are plenty of lovely little local eateries a short walk away, as well as mini markets for supplies.

The kitchen is very small and fine for making a simple meal or tea/coffee but a bit restrictive with counter space for preparing more complex meals - but I was mostly dining out or getting food to go, so it wasn’t a major issue. It is an older building, so soundproofing isn’t amazing, but that is the case with most accommodation in Istanbul.

This was my second stay, turned out my flight was at 1,40 am so I was only there for the afternoon, evening. Staff had kept some items of mine for my return and they were waiting in my room. And I had an early check in, which was very handy for a shower and a nap n

Had everything I needed for a short stay. It is in an excellent location for walking to many of the places I wanted to see. The young man I dealt with at reception was helpful.

The location of the property was good in terms of walking distance to tram stop/galata tower. The apartment was spacious and very clean. The staff were nice, they messaged us during our stay asking if we need room cleaning/towel change or sth else and they let us leave our bags at the reception after check out for several hours. Overall it was a great value for money and a pleasant experience.

The apartment and its equipment is a lot older than it seems from the photos, however it is very clean. We had a room on the first (ground) floor and it was pretty dark the whole day. The walls at the property are quite thin, we heard a lot of noise especially in the morning and at night. There was a water heating device in our room and it was pretty loud at first but you can get used to it I guess (it is probably only in this one specific room). Even though the location was good to get to public transport or walk to galata tower, the apartment was situated in a side street and was sourrounded by local electronics shops. The neighbourhood was messy and smelly in the late evenings/nights and mornings, it never felt dangerous though.

The hosts were very responsive - any issue which rose they came to solve immediately. The room was very clean upon arrival and well equipped. The location was very close to a metro station, a supermarket, and a couple of food vendors - it was also a close walk to many places. The building was also very safe.

The room was a bit different to how it seemed in the pictures - it wasn’t as spacious as it appeared to be. There was also very little privacy, as the window of our room faced another building so it was impossible to even keep the curtains open.

Compact Apartment at Nice Location , very near to Halic M2 Metro Station just on the other side of the road. Fresh Linens and Towels provided. Two Convenience Stores nearby. Great for a short stay for less than a week. It had an elevator although very small but helps as the stairs are very narrow.

Ventillation in the Room and also in Washroom is not good. It was pretty Hot in Easter Break in April 2025, when I asked to turn on the AC , they told us that it is only available for Summer Months, with Day Temperature reaching 20+ , when do you expect Summer to come ? One more thing, the Rooms are not well Lit. There is very less light and all Orangish Yellow Lights sometimes doesn't suit everyone. Approaching Road to the Flat is bit shady.

The apartment is good for it's cost. It's close to Galata tower, and the metro and bus stations are also close. It's got everything we were looking for - private bathroom, kitchenette, and it was very affordable considering how expensive Istanbul generally is. It was exactly how it looks in the pictures. The staff was really nice. Behlul gave us a very detailed explanation of how to get there, check-in and check-out, he did a really good job. Overall, it was a really pleasant stay!

Generally there's not much we didn't like. The kitchenette could be a bit better equipped, and the mattress on the bed could be changed to be a bit more comfortable. I would also appreciate if we had a broom or a mop in the room to clean up the floor a bit since we staid for a week. But those are just super small details. Overall it's a good place for the amount we paid!

I wish they had provided the information to self-check in earlier than the day before. I had no simcard (I did attempt to purchase one at the airport but they had network issues) and I did not have the check in information when I arrived at 11 p.m. However, they were quick to respond at 11 p.m. (although the office was closed) when the hotel worker across the street called them. Also, the hotel is in an industrial alley right off the main road. The taxi refused to enter the alley. It didn't turn out to be a problem for me though because it was just a 2 minute walk with my heavy luggage. Plus it was very quiet at night until about 8 a.m. Also, it didn't seem dangerous at all there.
