We spent a full seven days at the Perla Galata Hotel, and it truly enhanced our Istanbul trip. We felt right at home during our entire stay. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, always ready to answer our questions. On both our first and last days, they treated us to breakfast at a restaurant facing the Galata Tower. The hotel's location is excellent—just a two-minute walk to the Galata Tower, Istiklal Street, and Taksim Square, and within walking distance to Karaköy pier. If you're up for a longer walk, you can even reach Eminönü on foot. Public transportation is also easily accessible nearby. If you're looking for a fantastic Istanbul experience filled with walking and convenient access to public transit, I highly recommend the Perla Galata Hotel!

I had the opportunity to have a few days in Istanbul, and stayed at Galata Perla Hotel. The experience was delightful: the location of the hotel is in the most touristic area and 5 min by foot. You also have the most dynamic streets with shopping site and restaurants bars, just aside, very practical ! Apartbof that I have been traveling alone and the personnel showed to be very careful and friendly with me , indicating everything from good spots to public transport indications and I really appreciated discussing with them about the city, they have been very welcoming to me. Comfort of the room and bed was really good too. I can only thank the hotel and it’s people for the days I had there for my staying, I would renew the experience without hesitating a second and could only recommend !

The property is located at the heart of Istanbul on a walkable distance from Galata Tower and there are a lot of options for public transport not further away. I really liked that Karakoy Ferry is also on a walkable distance and it is convenient if you are planning to visit the Asian part of the city. Regarding the staff - Onur is the guy at the reception and he is extremely responsive, he even gave as breakfast card as a present before we left. I recommend this property and would love to stay again.

Pera Galata Hotel is an accommodation that grows on you with each passing day. We took the room with a partial sea view and it was a great view indeed though partial. However, the terrace on the fifth floor has an absolutely breathtaking sea view and is open for every patron. The terrace is open for relaxing with views on the Bosphorous, kitchennete for cooking. Theres Halic metro closest to the hotel, 4 minute walk, and Shishane metro around 10 minute walk (uphill). Theres Karakoy ferry walk 3 minute walk from the hotel. So theres easy access to ferry, restaurant and sight seeing. For Uber, you have to type your hotel stop as 'Yahya Bey Hotel'. Regarding personnel, Mr. Bedri in charge will definitely look towards fixing any issues if needed. He is reliable indeed. Mr. Octai, Barbarosa and Mehmed are good staff ensuring you have a lovely, memorable stay.

I would say this hotel is a hidden gem in the area of Galata, Beyǒglu. It’s strategically located and not far from Galata Port, Galata Tower and Istiklal Street where you can find a lot of shops and nice restaurants; it has a partial view of the beautiful Bosphorus Strait. It is also within a walking distance to two Metro Stations - Shisane and Haliç as well as the famous Atatürk Bridge and Galata Bridge. We really enjoyed walking across the Galata Bridge to Sultan Ahmet area where Yeni Camii, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Topkapi Palace and other sightseeing spots are situated. Ferry terminals are also scattered around the bridge. Just be ready with your comfortable walking shoes. This was our first visit to Istanbul and undoubtedly staying at Perla Galata has helped us explore the city with ease. What’s more; the property was impeccably clean and quiet (we had no problem falling asleep). It provided clean, fresh, and fluffy pillows, towels, powerful shower, and superb Wi-Fi connection, not to mention coffee anytime of the day - it felt like home. All the crew members - Ismail, Oktay, and Murat, as well as the owner were amazing. Ismail had even reached out 2 days before our arrival, and he was the one who handled our check in and check out. He was extremely professional, kind and helpful throughout our stay. We truly love Perla Galata, and looking forward to staying there again on our next visit.

The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Ismael and Murat were very kind and friendly, and helped us with any questions we had, even helping us arrange transport to the airport. The hotel was very clean and well-maintained by the staff. We are grateful to the cleaner who cleaned and tidied our room while we were out. On the top floor there was a terrace which overlooked the city, giving a beautiful view of the streets and the mosques. The location of the hotel was perfect, only a few minute walk from galata tower and the nearby cafes and restaurants. It was also just a few minutes walk to metros and buses. The hotel was definitely worth the price.

We had a lovely spacious room that was cleaned and freshened each day. The location of the hotel is great with easy access to galata bridge, şishane metro, funicular, tram, buses and short walk to galata towers or Karaköy, Pera area for great restaurants and bars. The rooftop terrace is great for enjoying sunset with a drink or sitting up there reading your book. Most of all we loved the friendly, attentive and caring hosts/staff at the hotel. Ishmail deserves a special mention for going out of his way to make our stay memorable!
