The hotel left only positive impressions! Its location is simply excellent – right next to Galata Tower and within walking distance of all the major attractions of Istanbul. The infrastructure is top-notch, with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. My room was absolutely comfortable, everything worked perfectly, and there was more than enough of everything. Thank you for the excellent service and pleasant atmosphere! As for the staff, I would like to give a special thanks to Anastasia. She is a wonderful receptionist—very friendly and welcoming. She is always ready to help and resolve any guest inquiries. I especially want to highlight her attentive and caring approach to welcoming guests, which creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere. She also speaks English, Russian, and Ukrainian, which is a great advantage for the hotel since Istanbul attracts people from all over the world. The airport transfer was organized at the highest level—everything went smoothly and comfortably. Overall, the service left only positive impressions—thank you very much!

The staff were super friendly, very good with the English language and were very knowledgeable. The location, although on a fairly steep street, was good. I enjoyed walking around the city, across many bridges, but the option of the metro was very nearby, a minute or two walk from the hotel. Istanbul is very well connected so the accessibility this hotel has is fantastic.

It was on a steep hill. This is expected in the Galata area. It wasn't an issue for me or my partner, and I'd stay here again. maybe someone with mobility issues should think twice, although, Istanbul is very hilly throughout the city.

Great location, clean room, value for money, but it is the exceptional people that makes this hotel great for us. The owner(?) went above and beyond in helping us to find a hospital for vaccination when my son had a dog bite incident, and the day and night receptionists are both very friendly and helpful. Not sure why there was strong foul (sewage) smell outside our room in last two evenings that we had to open wide the window to ventilate. Maybe this was just isolated incident ?

The location is the best in Istanbul for tourists in my opinion, as it between Galata and Beyoğlu area. You can go walking to istiklal or Karaköy, it's very close. There is also the metro nearby and the bus stops. Definitely recommend. Also the staff is super friendly and makes you feel at home. They are always available and took care of our transfer from and to the airport.

There is no elevator and we were staying in the 4th floor.

Nice small room, with a very comfortable bed. The hotel is very close to Shishane metro station, and Galata tower, so it's a good option to stay in. People at the reception desk were very friendly.

The room has no window view, the only thing you see is a wall of another building, a very dirty air conditioner, and pigeons who are bothering you in the morning with their sounds. I'd prefer to have more space for clothes, the wardrobe has few shelves. Please note that the hotel has 5 floors and no elevator, so it's better to stay here if you have no luggage (I knew it in advance so it wasn't a problem for me). The hotel is surrounded from one side by very narrow and dirty lanes, it's not a good idea to walk there late, once I met stray dogs.

The location was pretty good. The staff was friendly and answered our questions patiently. There were slippers, kettle, water, tea and coffee in the room. They were cleaning the room on time and each time a bottle of free water was placed. Also, the speed of the wifi was high enough.

There was not toothpaste and toothbrush in the room. There is no elevator at the hotel.

I want to share my impression about Galapera…I spent 5days there with my friend..The location of the hotel is completely convenient.It is next to Shishhane metro station and just 3-4 min walking to Galata Tower. You can also get to Taxim about 5-6min on foot.The location is perfect…By walking you can also get to Galata Bridge,Eminonu ,Blue mosque and other places.In addition to the room which we stayed was clean,and full equipped..The staff of the hotel is helpful as well.I want to thanks to the staff especially to Ahmet bey and his friend(cant remember his name).I recommend this location,hotel everyone who wants to discover Istanbul without any challenges.I would choose this hotel if came Istanbul again.Good luck🌝

I would like to thank the hotel staff for helping me in a difficult situation. My visit to Istanbul was 01/01/24, on a holiday. Russian cards are not accepted anywhere now, the trip turned out to be spontaneous and I did not have time to exchange currency at home. Therefore, I used a transfer to an electronic account, and I could receive it at the offices of some companies and at post offices that were not open on a holiday. Although I wrote to one of the offices in advance and they assured me that some branches would work, but this turned out not to be the case. I was left in a foreign country with absolutely no money. I didn't even have the opportunity to pay for a hotel. There was no cash for food. They gave me shelter and reassured me that the branches would be open the next day. And they even gave me food money for expenses so that I could eat and go somewhere. The world is not without good people. Thank you very much.

The room had pretty much everything you might want in a hotel room, complete with a fridge, kettle and complementary teabags, sugar, a big water bottle. It was easy to get more toilet paper, clean towels and more water from a cupboard in the corridor. The staff was nice and welcoming.

The room wasn’t actually cleaned during the stay but it’s a very minor complaint. For short-term stays I do not consider it necessary for the hotel room to be cleaned every day.

The rooms are spacey and nice. Personnel very helpful with everything you will need. Area is excellent. Metro station at 50m. Galata is full of life and close to all main attractions. Will stay there again if I visit Istanbul again. VFM

Has no elevator for people with problem with that. But the personnel will help you if needed to stay to low floor. I stayed at 5th floor but had no problem with it, on the contrary I preferred it cause I had a little nice view to the sea.
