Location is near galata and public transport is just few minutes walk The best thing about the hotel is the amazing staff and their hospitality. I’m going to rate this as a 5 star review on google maps because of the amazing staff; They were generous and amazing, and I was once sitting in the lobby and some exhausted tourists wanted to buy water since everything is closed nearby, the hotel staff offered the water for free (which is amazing) Good job and keep this attitude

We are the flrst guest. Amazing place very big rooms and so silence. It was a great stay. Hotel staff was very nice and helpfull, especially front dest and cleaning lady. Clerks advise us Amazing shopping place and restaurants.Room cleaning was excellent. Near by the galata tower almost 2 min by walk. We loved night atmosphere .There is so many museum, restaraunt near by the hotel. See you soon .

Everyone went well out of their way to be accommodating and to help me along the way as a solo female traveler. Coming into Istanbul, I took a taxi to go to the hotel- it was not a pick up arranged by the hotel; this was a mistake I made, so make sure to book through the hotel. The taxi driver was trying to take monetary advantage by telling me the price was triple what it should be. I told him to turn on the meter and he became more aggressive, so I started messaging the hotel to let them know. They met the taxi driver and I outside and took care of the whole situation for me. Then they gave me tea to calm me down. They were so nice.

The Greenland Galata Hotel is located just a few minutes away from the Tower (Galata). It takes you a couple of minutes to get there on foot, and the atmosphere is suggestive. The area is better than Sultanamet. You cross the bridge and enjoy the view. You can feel and experience a real and genuine city without the make- up effect in downtown. Please, make sure you exhibit the sign by the handle of your room door so that housekeepers can offer their make up daily. My room was tidy, clean, filled with natural light, comfortable and spacious: furniture was specifically designed for the space. You find sleepers and towels, along with soap and conditioner dispensers.

The only thing you should take into account is that the streets around the building are crowded and filled with journeymen busy at work. This might disturb your rest, naps or make you wake up in the morning.

I cannot remember staying at a place, where staff were soooo amazing! The hotel is near many touristic places! Galata tower is around the corner! There are supermarkets nearby if you need to grab a quick bite or buy water or something! At the hotel, they give you bottled water everyday (thank you for that), plus slippers (nice touch). The restaurant bar upstairs, is really cosy and with a spectacular view, and the food is good! The service is excellent and staff, again, very very friendly and helpful! Breakfast is good enough and has all you need! The Turkish coffee is excellent and tea, also very good to complement your morning meal! Finally, the cost: very good quality/price! I am very impressed! Should I go back to Istanbul, I would not hesitate to go back to Galata Greenland Hotel!

The location is very handy for the Sishane Metro and the tunnel train that takes you up and down the Galata Hill. It's easy to get down to the ferry terminals and to Sultanhamet and Taksim Square from here. I also chose it because the Metro gives easy access to the airport.

The hotel is located in a narrow street in the middle of a busy working area. It's surrounded by interior lighting suppliers. It does mean that there are constant deliveries, blocked streets and honking horns. My room was on the street side so I was very aware of the noise during the day. Evenings were fine though

The hotel is very beautiful and clean . Everything is new. The rooms was specious and with great design!!! The personal is very nice and helpful! The Galata tower is really close and Istiklal street is walking distance away.

The only minus is that the area where the hotel is located is not very clean.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The rooms were spotlessly cleaned every single day, which made us feel so comfortable and well taken care of. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast selection was very nice, offering a variety of options. On top of that, the staff were always available to help with anything we needed—whether it was arranging a taxi to the airport, providing free water, or patiently answering all of our questions. This level of service made our trip stress-free and truly enjoyable. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a welcoming, well-maintained place to stay.

Location is very close to Galata Tower. Turkish manager let us check in early with no fees. Room is very comfortable and clean. Suitable wifi for work

Manager at check in who was not turkish started taking to me in russian language right away, however I talked to him in english. It's really offensive from his side. Spa was good but deep tissue massage was not deep at all)) Rooftop restauran is the worst part of my stay. We went only for couple drinks, but they didn't have any options which they do in menu. They only had vine and nothing else. Very expensive prices even for the roof top.
