Here’s your polished review: I had an excellent stay at this hotel! First and foremost, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to assist us with anything we needed, from recommending the best places to shop at reasonable prices to always greeting us with a warm smile. The hotel itself is new and impeccably clean. The rooms are well-equipped with everything you could need, including towels, toiletries, and a heater to keep you comfortable in the colder weather. The daily cleaning service is outstanding, and they even restock bottled water every day, which was a thoughtful touch. The location couldn’t be better. It’s just a one-minute walk to Galata Tower, with plenty of cafes and shops in the area. Whether you want to explore Istanbul on foot or take public transport, this hotel is perfectly situated with easy access to nearby stations. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, well-maintained place in an unbeatable location. It truly made my trip to Istanbul memorable! How does that sound?

The thin walls, you could hear everything from neighbors.

Location: Hotel is perfectly situated next to Galata Tower, one street away, incredibly convenient to access one of Istanbul's most famous landmarks. Easy walk to Itstiklal and Taksim. We mainly walked around Istanbul. The neighbourhood is vibrant, with plenty of shopping, cafes, and restaurants within walking distance in every direction As you walk through Cukurcuma and Cihangir neighbourhoods, you will see many nice vintage and bohemian handcrafted stuff to buy. For unique-designed leather goods, go see Ali at Phablo Mano store! Accessibility: Walkability: The Spice Market is an easy walk, and many major attractions are within walking distance. Tram Access: The tram stop is conveniently located a few minutes walk down from the hotel, offering easy access to popular destinations like the Spice Market, Aya Sofya, Balat, and Fener. To party, go to Besiktas & Beyoglu. Cleanliness and Comfort: The hotel was super clean, ensuring a comfortable stay. The shower was fantastic, providing a refreshing experience and doing the job perfectly after a long day of exploring. The rooms are ideal for both couples and friends travelling together, offering practicality and comfort. Dining: Local restaurants like Gunay, Delicious, in front of Galata Tower, stood out for their fantastic food and service. A must-visit is Agora Meyhanesi 1890 in Balat for an incredible dining experience. Neighbourhood Charm: The surrounding area is quirky and charming, providing a cultural and scenic experience. You must visit Balat, and walking back through Fener offers a unique and immersive journey through local streets. Staff: The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Special shoutout to Volkan, a Turkish actor, who was an awesome guy and added a unique touch to the stay, and Bushra, who was funny, helpful, and always attentive!

Nothing not to like! Met all we needed and more.

Mr Volkan was of great help during our stay, he made sure that all our needs are met. Based upon his advice we opted for a private taxi for airport transfer and looking at the traffic on the way it was the best suggestion that I have got, he also arranged for the taxi. Hotel is new and almost beside to the galata tower, all the amenities were more than enough. It was super clean and the washroom was also big with provision of hot water. Best decision to opt for this hotel during our stay in Istanbul, all the places like Hagia Sophia, Spice bazaar and Taksim square were nearby. If you don’t want to walk use either metro or tram which was cheapest and fast option.

I have been to Istanbul 8-9 times. Before I started my summer trips, a colleague asked me, "Do you go to the same place every time?" After her question, I started looking at hotels and/or apartments differently. Specifically, from the perspective of "Would I want to come back here?" In this case, my answer is YES. (I will honestly tell that I am using this beginning of the text for this hotel and other apartments.) The first thing I want to mention is the location. I have never lived so close to Galata Tower before. There is a Migros supermarket nearby (quite large, but not huge) — for those who find this information important. My mother would appreciate it. It's a bit sad that the alley is on the back side of the shops and cafes, i.e. the working side. It's not as dirty as some other places, but just so you know. Basically, everything is fine. The restaurant serves very tasty breakfasts, which are, as always, very filling. Lately, I've stayed at hotels where freshly squeezed juice was the default drink and you could choose coffee. Here, there's only tea and water, and everything else is extra. The room is as shown in the photos, everything is nice and comfortable: bed, table, fridge, ottoman, French balcony.

We stayed at several affordable hotels in this area and this was our favorite. Clearly the people who work here, really like working here and are very hospitable. The corner room we got ( luxe) on the second floor ( above the lobby) was absolutely charming, impeccable and quiet. Bright and clean. Breakfast was not a buffet but it was plentiful and with a wonderful view over the city. I bought my own plant milk in the supermarket around the corner, which was no bother. All the hotel fridges work perfectly and silent. ( In many other hotels the fridges seem to be there only for the foto's. ) Give my best wishes to Burak, who is a wonderful host.

The room was spotless and staff were friendly . It looks like it has been recently renovated , nice bright modern rooms with comfy bed right near the Galata tower. The rooms were cleaned every day and fresh towels added daily.

The surrounding area outside is very scruffy with lots of rubbish lying around. The day before we left the lift wasn’t working so we had to take the stairs where there was a worker welding in the stair well. Sparks everywhere and no warning signs around. Also the water went off at 3pm the day before we left and it was still off the morning we were leaving so we couldn’t get a shower , just a cold wash which wasn’t very acceptable as we had a long flight home . It was a shame really as we had really enjoyed our stay and this let it down.

Great location next to Galata Tower on a relatively quiet street. It's a new building so rooms and everything are clean. Has elevator. Fantastic value. Helpful staff.

- Poor sound insulation. You will hear everything! - Internet doesn't work sometimes. - The TV isn't setup with internet or apps. Need to connect yourself and download to install. - All hotels facing back street. At 12:30am every night there is garbage collection, it's short so not a big deal. - Some random yelling passerbys here and there but generally quiet. - Blanket is too hot for non-winter use. - The traffic is SHIT out here. Don't get a taxi from the hotel to go to the airport unless you have lots of time.

The location was excellent—just a few minutes from Galata Tower, İstiklal Street, and the Şişhane metro station, making it easy to explore the city. The hotel felt peaceful and secure despite being so central. Rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable. Staff were polite and helpful, and housekeeping was consistent throughout the stay.

No complaints at all.

We were looking for a hotel in the heart of Istanbul, and everything we found either didn’t meet our standards or lacked in quality—until we found your hotel. Perfect location, a new property, and beautiful rooms. Despite being located close to Galata Tower and many tourists, the rooms are very quiet and cozy. We stayed with our dog, and this caused no issues: room cleaning was done at a convenient time for us while we were out with the dog. Special thanks to the receptionists, Pusha and Volkan, for their help during our stay. They arranged our airport transfer and took care of all our requests.

We had a great staying in Querencia Hotel! Rooms are well equipped, clean, enough space and the bathroom has an amazing shower! It's also quiet even though just around the corner there is a very busy area with shops, restaurants and the beautiful Galata Tower. Position is perfect also to visit sulthanamet which is only few minutes by tram (reachable also by walk) and very good value for money. Staff speaks english and were very friendly and accomodated every request. Highly recommend this place.
