The place was in a very convenient neighborhood to commute to all the sights and eat good food! It’s literally around the corner of the Galata tower! The room was extremely clean and beautifully equipped! All the staff was incredibly nice and helpful! Especially the owner took the time to talk to us or help us out. She was very warm and authentically welcoming! We received a WiFi device for free to carry around for the whole trip. This way we didn’t have to buy SIM card, which was very thoughtful! The breakfast was very big and delicious. One night we were hanging out at the bar talking to the bar tender and he was really excited to show us the roof top for the incredible view. We loved staying at the Walton Galata and felt very comfortable. Thank you to all the staff. We are looking forward to coming back!

**Outstanding Stay at a Wonderful Hotel in Istanbul** I had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic hotel from February 20th to 25th during my visit to Istanbul, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. A special thank you to **Zeynep, the owner**, for her incredible hospitality and for providing me with valuable information that made my stay even more enjoyable. Her kindness and attentiveness truly made a difference. I would also like to express my gratitude to the entire **staff**, who were always professional and accommodating. A special mention goes to **Salim**, whose constant availability and kindness made my stay even more pleasant. The hotel itself is excellent—comfortable, clean, and in a great location, making it the perfect choice for anyone visiting Istanbul. The place is quiet and clean. The staff is very cooperative, especially Mr. Salim, who is very cooperative. The location is very close to Galata Tower, in addition to the fact that the breakfast is very good and the hotel owner reviews all the details herself, and the breakfast employee is very cooperative and kind and fulfills your requests even before you ask for them.

The hotel is located on a hill and is difficult to reach on foot, especially with bags.Also during the morning the neighborhood is crowded as the area where the hotel is located is a commercial area.The rooms are not soundproofed you can hear what is going on outside the room

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would like to sincerely thank all the staff for their kindness and professionalism. From the director who greeted us with a smile every morning at breakfast, to the reception staff, Salim and Cihan, who were especially attentive to us. They offered us an upgrade to a superior room, and also provided a portable Wi-Fi router, which was an excellent detail—we had internet access even outside the hotel during our entire stay. I also want to highlight Salim’s kindness in the morning when he prepared some food for us to take to the airport, as we couldn’t attend breakfast that day. It was a thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated. Thank you all for making our experience so comfortable and pleasant. We’ll definitely be back!

When the Uranus Istanbul Topkapi Hotel unexpectedly and without any real reason cancelled my accommodation, I had to find another place to stay. I chose the Walton Hotels Galata Hotel and I must say that I did not regret this decision. In fact, everything the hotel offered met and even exceeded my expectations. The room was large and clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would especially like to thank the owner of the hotel, Ms. Zeynep, who was very friendly and always asked if everything was okay with the services offered by the hotel. I will be happy to return to this destination on my next visit to Istanbul.

The hotel location is great; easy to navigate. close to Galata Tower and Sishane metro station. Almost walking distance to every places worth seeing. The breakfast was freshly served every morning up on the roof restaurant. The room we had was Queen room and was decent and comfortable, bathroom was huge with complete amenities right what we needed. From the time we checked in, staff Jihan was there to made us feel welcomed. The people in the restaurant was so kind for real. The owner Ms. Zeynep was there to accommodate our concerns and gathering feedback of our stay everyday and gave us tips on how to navigate the city better. Thank you all! The overlooking view at the rooftop is a must!

Of all the positive side, however, the small concern is for the elevator/lift. Only one lift is available for use from Ground floor to the rooftop restaurant/bar. But wasn't a big problem at all. Also, wifi connection sometimes disconnect for minutes but was fast connection most of the time.

Located in a nice street near the Galata tower. The rooms are very comfortable, especially the mattress. Even though it’s a busy area, the street is quieter than most in this area. It’s in walking distance to many sightseeing places such as the Galata bridge, Karakoy, etc. The staff was always helpful and super nice. We definitely recommend. We liked the restaurant as well on the rooftop - the food was delicious and really cocktails. Turkish breakfast was also nice.

Rooftop could benefit from refreshment / renovation just to make it more in line with what we see in the pictures.

The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Galata and close to cafés, shops, and the Bosphorus. The staff were genuinely warm and helpful. It’s family-run and you feel the personal touch. The breakfast was excellent — not a buffet, but a fresh and personalized platter with great egg dishes. We had two connecting rooms with our kids, which was very convenient. The price (2000 SAR for 3 nights) was very fair for what we got.

Our rooms had no windows, which made them feel a bit closed in. It didn’t ruin the experience, and not all rooms have no windows. In fact, it is indicated on the booking.com page, but it’s worth knowing in advance.

Highly recommended!! We had an amazing staying at Walton Hotels Galata. From the moment we arrived ,the staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was well decorated ,clean with a variety of amenities . Housekeeping did great job each day! Breakfast was delicious ,with wide variety and options. The location was exactly what a visitor needs ! Very close to places you have to visit and also transportation. We would highly recommend Walton Hotels to anyone visiting Istanbul. P.s. Staying at Walton Hotel near Galata Tower was one of the highlights of our trip to Istanbul! 🩵 The location was absolutely perfect — just a short walk to the beautiful Galata Tower, surrounded by charming shops, cozy cafés, and a vibrant, lively neighborhood full of life. The metro and bus stations were also nearby, which made exploring the city so easy. What made our stay even more special was the amazing team at the hotel. Everyone at the reception was so kind and welcoming. A special shoutout to Cihan for his warm hospitality — he answered all our questions whenever we had any doubts. And thank you to sweet Zeynep for all the lovely food suggestions! Even though it was just me and my girl bestfriend, we felt completely safe, comfortable, and at home throughout our stay. On our last day, our flight was at night, and the hotel kindly let us keep our luggage after checkout — something we really appreciated. We’re already missing Istanbul and our lovely time at Walton. Can’t wait to return someday! 💫✨
