kind staff, they helped us with many points and made our stay really comfortable greatly designed rooms, tasteful perfect location- 1 minute from galata great value for the price! i would recommend

the cleaning of the room was not great, during our three night stays the floor was never cleaned. upon arrival, the sheets were clearly not changed (we found hair and other stains on the bed) so we had to ask for new ones and change them ourselves the bathroom floor, corners were not cleaned, old stains and lots of sticky hair the bathroom could use more privacy. the babycot did not have a mattress, so they used a duvet instead which was not very comfortable for my baby. i am only writing these comments to help the management improve the cleanliness point as it is the most important point in any hotel! otherwise i really recommend this family run boutique hotel

The hotel is just a 2-minute walk from Galata Tower, but on a quiet, peaceful street - a catch in such a central area in any tourist destination city, really. The room was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean, with a comfy bed and a very nice bathroom. I stayed on the third floor facing the back and was treated to a beautiful view over the rooftops of the Old City, with its hilltop mosques rising in the distance (not the view from the Hilton - this isn’t a 5-star hotel - but a great view nonetheless; I just like to keep fellow travellers’ expectations in check). And a bargain - you’ll pay more at a 3-star chain hotel and get much less. Great value for money. Will definitely stay again. And friendly staff.

Honestly, nothing that bothered me. If I had to nitpick, a couple staying longer might have wished for a slightly larger closet. But for me, everything was just right.

We had a very pleasant 3 night stay at the Galata Rasso Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was ideal, as it's around the corner from the Galata Tower which is surrounded by great cafes and restaurants. We enjoyed spending our evenings in the area as it's very festive and lively. The hotel is also a 5 minute walk from a metro station for easy traveling.

The bathroom is smaller than I expected, but still consider this hotel value for money considering its prime location.

The staff was wonderful, extremely attentive and always happy to help us with our needs. The location was great, super close to Galata Tower. The room was also very nice, clean, and it was great to have a balcony. The only negative point was the shower drain which was clogging if the cover was left in place. This seems to have been a problem in the past as well, as the laminate around the bathroom was swollen and squicky. But these were minor details compared to the great stay we had. 😊

Not necessarily a bad thing but something to be aware of - Galata is high up so be prepared to walk a lot and up lots of steep roads Also very touristy so high prices for food/coffee/shops in this area

I loved the fast communication and the surprisingly peaceful location, moments from the Galata Tower, but most of all I liked the thoughtful design. The bathroom was really simply and beautifully thought out and the room didn’t feel small because of the entire wall of glass sliding doors (which you could open) looking across to the blue Mosque. The staff were really helpful and friendly.

None, but I don’t think the reception area design does the hotel justice! So I would ignore pictures of that.

Great and super convenient location - very close to the Galata Tower, supermarket and restaurants. Perfect starting point for daily sightseeing. My room was out to the back - here you won’t hear anything from the outside.

The rooms are not fully sound proof, the neighbors can be heard above and next door. If you want to sleep early, bring earplugs then it’s totally fine. Besides that it was quiet from midnight onwards until the morning.

Everything was neat , the location was great , it’s near galata tower and minutes far from taksim, with quick accessible to the metro station. Even though it is in a busy tourist area there was no noise near the hotel , also it was good secured , they lock the entry door at night for safety .The staff were amazing ! So friendly and hospitable, they even got us our food order directly to our room. The room was pretty comfy , it was a great experience

The only thing that I recommend is having tissue papers in the room

The Staff at the hotel was amazing. Ibrahim and Ali were super accommodating. We were 8, loud, all over the place, girls and they made our stay as comfortable as possible. They also arranged all our separate airport taxies at all different times, at amazing rates. The hotel has very boutique hotel vibes. The location is perfect, a stones throw away from the Galata tower, and all the best cafes and restaurants just a few footsteps away.

The only 2 things that might be a bit off putting for people are: 1. the street the hotel is in is a back street with the garbage collection right next to it 2. The area from the lobby to the lift is very narrow and seems like a back entrance rather than main lobby.

Before I arrived, the staff at the hotel were working to ensure a smooth and pleasant stay. I had a hotel transfer arranged by the hotel complete with an instructional video of the pick-up point. I was met at the door by reception upon my arrival and was asked to sit on a lounge whilst I was checked in. Given water and offered coffee. My bags were brought to the room. Every single time I left the hotel, the reception staff would stand and bid me a nice day and welcome me back and ask if I needed anything arranged. Fresh towel, more water, coffee or a taxi. Above and beyond what I expected. The room was massive and very stylish and modern. It had a large shower separate from the toilet. Both private. It had air-conditioning, which could be adjusted by staff upon a simple phone call to the desk. The beds were comfortable. The location was right at the foot of the Galata Tower. I recommend going to the Tower pub around the corner for a pub dinner and beer. Great vibe when busy. Great food and a resident dog 🐕. The room also had plenty of storage, and the balcony had a view of the city. The blue mosque and Bosphorus Bridge. It exceeded my expectations, which were already quite high. I would definitely go back. Thank you for making my stay so great.

The only downfall was that my holiday had to end, and I needed to check out. Seriously though, there is no restaurant in the hotel, plenty of food around outside. The coffee is only instant. If could private pods or similar- even if at an additional cost. Maybe breakfast option would be nice too (even a continental one). But these are mere suggestions rather than complaints.
