I enjoyed my time in the Vavien hotel. Hotel staff: Vavien hotel staff was very helpful and customer oriented. Location: 2 minutes of walking to food shops, restaurants, sea and Ataturk bridge with metro train. Galata bridge, Galata Tower, Egyptian bazaar, famous Istiklal street and ferry boat stations are 5-10 minutes of walking distance from the hotel. Vavien hotel is located in the district where a lot of shops sell construction, bathroom and plumbing materials. So, don’t be shocked to see them during the day. It is very quiet around the hotel during night time. Room: My room was very comfortable and warm, considering cold weather outside. My room had clean and comfortable single bed, towels, TV, fridge, safe, electric kettle, cup with tea spoon, tiny table with chair, mirror and cloth hangers. Bedside table was comfortable to put drinks or food during watching movies. Bathroom with toilet and hot/cold shower and sink was divided by glass wall. Complimentary tea, sugar and water were provided on a daily basis. Room cleaning was offered every day. But I didn’t need daily cleaning. Wi-Fi worked very well in my room. Overall, I found Vavien hotel very comfortable for short and long stay. I would be happy to come back here again.

Great location right in the center. River and Galata Tower not far by foot. Busses, ferry and train are close by. Single bed room quiet, spacious and comfortable. Mosque view. Free water bottles provided to take at the entrance.

Staff so attentive, lovely atmosphere.

In an industrial area, so very eerie at night walking back to the hotel, only 500 metres from main shopping bar area but seems miles at night.

The location was very good and they clean your room every day, they also bring you tea and water which is nice gesture + free apples. Staff was enough friendly and helped us when we needed. Also they have elevator which is goood.

Pillows were the only terrible thing tbh.

The staff was very cooperative and nice. Will definelty recommend the hotel to my acquittances if they decide to visit Istanbul.

The location is in a bit busy area. Specially for first timers. It can be a little intimating going on on your own.

For a visit to Istanbul this hotel is great. The staff were really welcoming and friendly. The beds were very comfortable. The room was nice and clean. Good value for money in a great location, walking distance from Sishane metro station. Would definitely use this hotel again.

Arrived late at night and wasn’t sure about street but it was absolutely fine

The room was very neat, quite stylish. I liked that it was so close to Galata tower. Some people said that the area was dangerous. Well it’s not beautiful but very calm and very close to the tourists street. The receptionists kept my suitcase after check-in. so I am very happy with that choice!

maybe first impressions of area. for someone it’s not nice. but for a guy like me - absolutely no problems. So only recommend!
