Staying at the Galatahan Hotel was an absolute delight! Its central location allowed us to effortlessly explore both sides of Istanbul. The breakfast spread was fantastic, offering a variety of options to start our day right. The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable, making us feel right at home. The rooms were impeccably serviced and cleaned, ensuring a comfortable stay throughout. For the value we received, it's safe to say this hotel exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Istanbul!

The best thing about this stay was the staff. They were all kind helpful people who went above and beyond to make this stay so memorable for my family. Thank you Aras, unfortunately I don’t know the name of the rest but thank you all. the hotel interior and rooms are so beautiful with some reminders of the old building plus good renovation. Its much nicer than the pictures! The location is great on a safe street.

bathrooms were small but not a big problem. Noise from outside, which is not the hotel's problem. It is due to deciding to get a hotel at the heart of a touristic city which I don't regret.

This was our 2nd time at the Galatahan because of the location, view of the Golden Horn and the staff.

The location is very central and well connected. The neighbourhood is really alive, and you get a great view of the mosques from the window of the room. Also, reception is 24h. The hotell is very clean and they provide toiletries (shampoo, gel shower, conditioner, beauty kit, sewing kit, flip flops, ...).

The breakfast was very poor. There was no fruit, just some orange slices, and no sweet options beside milk, cereals, and jams. Considering that most of the guests are internationals, they should consider that not everybody wants to eat grilled vegetables as first thing in the morning.

The location was ideal. The staff was nice. The hotel was clean. The standard room on the 4th floor we booked had a window which was blocked by a large building on a narrow street. We changed the room for a view on the 5th floor, and we didn't mind the extra charge.

The room and bathroom were very tight. The breakfast was poor, and the service in the breakfast area was slow. We had to repeatedly ask for fresh ☕️

Nice central Location, clean rooms with regular cleaning service, friendly staff, providing of airport transport in a logical price.

Rooms a bit small, in the evening a bit loud, but not too much, I could sleep well. The windows were old so that the room would be a bit cold. There was an air conditioning heating system which would warm the room, but we had to turn it off at night because of the noise. The breakfast was simple and didn’t remind that much of traditional Turkish cuisine.

The location of the hotel, the attention to detail in the design of the rooms, the exquisite breakfast offered in your restaurant helped make my stay truly unforgettable. Moreover, I was particularly impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of your staff. Their genuine hospitality and willingness (especially Halil and the one administrator, I forget the name who escorted us) to go above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction really sets your hotel apart. They were always ready to answer any questions. Thank you for such a great service in the heart of Istanbul. I will definitely come back.

if you need a very quiet night, not the best place, if you are used to city noises, perfect.

I would thoroughly recommend this fantastic hotel for anyone hoping to travel to Istanbul! Staff were extremely friendly and gave us lots of recommendations. The rooms were spacious with comfy beds and very clean (cleaned daily with fresh towels). The price was very reasonable and included breakfast. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

Elderly bear in mind this hotel is at the bottom of a hill so recommend taxis to get around. Nothing I didn't like!!

Staff is very helpful. They had answers to any question and solution to any situation. 10 points for that. The room was clean all the time. Location is absolutely great. Minutes from Taksim, Bazaar, Ferry, Tram station and so on. If you want to go further than that and not take the train, the staff from the hotel will arrange for you car with negotiated price that you pay at the hotel so there's no chance of drivers ripping you off. Pretty cool.

The whole area is very loud, and the windows are not doing a great job insulating the sound. The bathroom is just a glass separator from the rest of the room and the door is not going all the way up. So if you have a new girlfriend si might not be able to go to the bathroom for the whole stay :)))).
