Very nice, boutique style hotel in Karaköy, close to ferries and tramway, also realtively easy to reach from IST airport. Plush rooms, well equipped bathroom, good aircon and well isolated windows, so no extranal noise. Comfortable beds with excellent linen. Friendly staff at reception and concierge desk.

While the breakfast itself is good and has enough to choose from, the staff, especially the male waiters, is relatively uninterested and not focused on the clients. More than once we had to interupt their private talks to get served. There is room for improvement in service quality in the breakfast room!

Service, breakfast and room. The rooms in the main building, closer to the entrance have a higher ceiling and are actually more reserved, since you don't have to share an elevator with people going to the rooftop bar/restaurant. Location is close to most touristic attractions.

Gym and spa are very small and underwhelming. Street can be a little noisy at all times. Elevator in the back building is small and slow, specially considering that there's a high usage to access the bar and the restaurant, which are open to the public.

pretty much everything. We arrived very late, but even so, the welcome we received from the doorman and reception was as if we'd arrived at 4pm. I had completely forgotten to tell the hotel we were celebrating my husband's birthday, but they must have found out from his passport and we came back on our first day to find the most delicious cake waiting. The location is amazing, near to everything but still quiet at night. The l'occitane toiletries were a lovely treat, the shower was fabulous. Even though the rooms aren't huge, or at least ours wasn't, it's all well laid out. air con was effective, but quiet, and it was great to have a view down to the water. also the roof terrace is a real gem

The welcome on arrival was just perfect, the front of house team are so helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them, a real asset to the hotel! Bedroom was beautiful if slightly small, however we had a great view of the Bosphorus. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the room felt very luxurious. Breakfast, again very tasty and plentiful, good produce and lovley staff too. The roof top bar is superb, now the team up here were amazing, funny, friendly and always made an effort. The views are simply stunning so it's well worth booking a table and watching the sunset. The location is great, very central with the old town just across the bridge. I would definitely book again.

Nothing, it was a superb stay!

1. Location is very good, we walked to Galata tower before breakfast and enjoyed the beautiful view almost for ourselves. The tram, bus and ferry stations are all in walking distance. 2. The more than hundred years old bank building has its flair. It’s nicely renovated into hotel rooms with very high ceiling (our room was on 1st floor).

Breakfast costs 25€, but if you would like to have cappuccino or espresso you have to pay extra money.

Location is great and the primary reason why we chose this hotel. It is within walking distance to the Galata Tower district, Galataport Promenade, as well as the old city (across the Golden Horn). The location also makes it easy to experience the local life -- there is a local supermarket as well as plenty of eateries right next to the hotel. We had a chance to taste the real Turkish breakfast instead of eating European/westernized food inside the hotel. The hotel is an old building with decent remodeling and decoration. Rooms feel spacious and quiet.

Perhaps due to the age of the building, we found the sink in the bathroom somewhat clogged. Contacted the front desk for repair but it didn't get addressed throughout our 3-day stay.

It's a beautiful hotel in a stunning old building with lots of character. Fabulous location too. The roof top bar has incredible views over the river and important historic sights. Our room was generous in size, super comfortable and we loved the overall feel and design, especially the green marble bathrooms! Staff were welcoming, lovely and very helpful. We'd definitely stay there again.

First and foremost, the staff at the front desk was terrific! By the time we left, we felt like they were old friends. They were extremely helpful and attentive, and very professional. That said, each of them had a great (and appropriate) sense of humor, which made us feel very much at home. Hope they get a bonus or raises! Other staff were good as well, with only one or two exceptions. And the room was beautiful and comfortable. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffett and especially the rooftop bar and restaurant.

The electrical system in the room took some getting used to. It was so small and some of the controls were in hard to see locations.

Excellent location. Near to Gelata Tower and restaurants. Close to the attractions Blue Mosque etc. Loved it! Good breakfast and great rooftop restaurant. Food was amazing as were the views and bar snacks. Amazing room

The wine in the restaurant is way too expensive. Cheapest £66! They should offer a house wine £20 to £30. The only let down, the food was exceptional

We had an amazing stay at The Bank Hotel Istanbul. Everyone at the Front Desk was extremely helpful, very accommodating, and friendly. The cleanliness of the hotel is superb, as are the room size and amenities. The bar at the top offers spectacular views and cocktails. I would definitely come back and highly recommend staying there.
