Sea view room had an incredible view over the Galata Bridge, Golden Horn and mosques on the skyline. The room decor was stylish and seemed to be recently renovated. Great location at the end of the Galata Bridge in the new town. 5 minute walk to the tram and Karakoy ferry pier. Tunel entrance right next door. The top-floor restaurant and cocktail bar served the best meals we had in Istanbul, and the most memorable for the view. Breakfast was good with eggs cooked to order in addition to the buffet.

The only negative - no clothes storage in the room. 5 hangers and no shelves or drawers. But this was a minor inconvenience we would absolutely stay here again.

Sedat and sinan were very friendly and helpful , our stay was very comfortable , the location is perfect near karakoy tram statiob and the funicular that takes you to taksim and galata . They serve fresh breakfast with a. With a chef that prepares eggs upon your request

Very nice hotel into a perfect location if you're visiting Istanbul for the first time! It's just 2mins walk to Galata Bridge and tram which is really good to reach the old town in few stops (otherwise 20/25mins walking) Amazing breakfast, full of everything, served into the roof top restaurant which got an amazing view of the old city! Nice tiny roof top bar on the top of the restaurant as well!! Room was comfortable, clean and tidy daily, and isolated from any noise coming up from the street(traffic is crazy in Istanbul!!!)

What made my stay at the Hotel Momento so memorable was all the lovely the staff. They were all so friendly and helpful. I'm sorry I can't recall each of their names but I'd like to extend my thanks to them all. Sinan couldn't have been more helpful this morning. He brought our bags down from the room to reception and then put them in the taxi for us. The breakfast was delicious every morning and again all the staff in the breakfast room were so lovely. The rooms were serviced and cleaned very well every day

The evening we arrived the rooms were extremely cold and it took a while for them to heat up. It would have been nice if the heating had been on and rooms warmed up before arrival. The rooms could be a little bit bigger for comfort.

Staff were all very nice and accomodating. The room was lovely and comfortable with a nice view (although somewhat marred by the building across the street). Best of all is the location, central to everything with loads of restaurants and bars at your doorstep, the funicular to Taksim square next door, and the T1 tram a block away. Oh - the restaurant upstairs is fantastic for dinner and breakfast. Great food and amazing views.

The transfer organized from the airport wasn't worth it. You have to go to a place way at the end of the airport where you wait for someone to come take a group of you (we waited 15 minutes) across the road and down to where the minivans (which are not all that nice) waited amongst chaos. Taxi would have been substantially faster and easier.

The hotel is extremely well located. Right by the bridge that leads to the old town with all the markets and bazaars, and main historical sites and right at the bottom of the elegant and lively Galata district leading to Taksim square. We really enjoyed our stay, our bedroom view was stunning and the bed was super comfy. The room including the bathroom was super clean too with great amenities. The staff was really helpful and kind from the airport pick up to our departure. They also have a restaurant at the top with an amazing view on the Bosphore where you also get your breakfast (which was wonderful too) and had dinner there, the food is amazing! I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul !

Sometimes the elevator could be a little noisy with this alarm clock type of alarm sound ringing, migth be worth checking, but it was alright, not a big deal either.

The staff was very nice and attentive! We have some challenge with car and Sedat make imposibile to bring out car back safe and non damaged. View sea is very nice. Room is not so big but very cozy and clean. The roomservice is coming every day. They have everything that you need in room. At breakfast they have a lot of food and they change daily. Breakfast is served in a nice restaurant at 8 floor. They have also a coffee restaurant. The hotel is well placed near center. Tram is at 2 minutes, subway at maximum 20 seconds.

I had the pleasure to stay in this excellent hotel. Staff was extremely helpful, pleasant, warm and somehow felt like a family. I was welcomed on my arrival by Eren who was very polite, professional and kind. The bedroom was modern with appropriate size, comfortable bed, nice shower and excellent air conditioning. We found it noisy on our first day but on explanation we found out that the window which even though appeared closed, did not have the triple lock applied which made things very comfortable at night after applying it. The breakfast place is on 8th floor with excellent views of Bosphorus overlooking old istantul. The location can't be any better, with Tunnel attached next door to hotel taking you to Istiklal street in almost 2 minutes, less than 5 minutes walk to Karakoy tram which can take you to Sultanahmet area. 5 minutes walk to ferry port which take you to Asia, 7 minutes walk to galata tower, 10 minutes walk to galataport, 3 minutes to Galata bridge walking across which will take you to eminonu district where egyptian bazaar and surrounding shopping bazaars located. I want to especially thank Sedat, Eren and Harun, and the staff boys Sinan and Borak, who were all very welcoming and pleasant and made our stay comfortable. It's totally worth staying in, 10/10.

Very nice hotel, positioned perfectly at the coast of Galata. 5 minutes to the public transport, trams and ferries, Karakoy district, shops, restaurants and bars. Staff was so nice and helpful. Room and the hotel itself was very clean and considering the location next to the busy street, room was relatively quiet and we didn't have problem sleeping well. Bed is the queen size, but enough for a short stay for couples. Breakfast is buffet stile, but the best thing about it is the fantastic 180 view of the bay, Galata bridge and the other side of the town, with Aia Sofia, Blue Mosque and Eminonu. From the bar above, you can see the Galata tower in the back. From the hotel tower is about 5-10 minutes away and if you continue up, you will find yourself in the Istiklal street, bringing you to the Taksim square. Only thing missing for this place would be nice swimming pool, but we knew it does't have one ahead of our arrival.

Very central location. Close to all the major touristic sites with 10-15 min walks. Also, most of the buses pass from in front of the Hotel which makes it convenient. Room was clean and comfy. Food menu is decently priced and not overpriced like most hotels. Breakfast was nice with a very spectacular view over Istanbul.

Services offered by the Hotel are overpriced. 50 Euro for an Airport taxi that only takes 20 Euro if you request it yourself. Day trips also cost less if you request it alone. I am sorry, but I don't get why I need to pay extra for services that are widely available from different providers. Hotels should price it competitively.
