Sea view room had an incredible view over the Galata Bridge, Golden Horn and mosques on the skyline. The room decor was stylish and seemed to be recently renovated. Great location at the end of the Galata Bridge in the new town. 5 minute walk to the tram and Karakoy ferry pier. Tunel entrance right next door. The top-floor restaurant and cocktail bar served the best meals we had in Istanbul, and the most memorable for the view. Breakfast was good with eggs cooked to order in addition to the buffet.

The only negative - no clothes storage in the room. 5 hangers and no shelves or drawers. But this was a minor inconvenience we would absolutely stay here again.

Sedat and sinan were very friendly and helpful , our stay was very comfortable , the location is perfect near karakoy tram statiob and the funicular that takes you to taksim and galata . They serve fresh breakfast with a. With a chef that prepares eggs upon your request

What a wonderful hotel and what a wonderful front desk. Sedat is a truly kind gentleman, and he accommodated our request even though our reservation was made at the last minute. It was important for my mom to have a nice view from the room, and he gave us a great room with a perfect view of the Bosphorus. The room was also very clean and beautifully maintained. I’ve been to many hotels in Istanbul, but this was by far my best check-in experience anywhere in the world. The hotel is also located in one of the best areas in Istanbul, and it’s only 15 minutes away from Taksim Square or Hagia Sophia. Definitely recommend this place

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Momento Golden Horn Hotel in Istanbul. The location and cleanliness of the hotel were excellent, and the attention to detail in the rooms was clear from the moment we arrived. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. But what truly made our experience outstanding was the hospitality and professionalism of the staff. Upon arrival, I realized I had forgotten my bag in the car that brought us from the airport — it had some really important belongings inside. I was honestly quite stressed. When I mentioned it at the front desk office cief Sedat he immediatelly started to invesigate possibilities, the General Manager, Mr. Serdar Turan, personally got involved. He immediately contacted the driver, arranged everything, and even sent a hotel staff member with me to retrieve the bag. Thanks to their quick and caring action, I got my bag back safe and sound in no time. This level of care and dedication is rare. I felt not just like a guest, but like someone truly valued. Huge thanks to Mr. Serdar Turan and the entire team. If you're looking for a hotel where you’ll feel safe, supported, and genuinely welcomed — this is the place. Highly recommended!

Very nice hotel into a perfect location if you're visiting Istanbul for the first time! It's just 2mins walk to Galata Bridge and tram which is really good to reach the old town in few stops (otherwise 20/25mins walking) Amazing breakfast, full of everything, served into the roof top restaurant which got an amazing view of the old city! Nice tiny roof top bar on the top of the restaurant as well!! Room was comfortable, clean and tidy daily, and isolated from any noise coming up from the street(traffic is crazy in Istanbul!!!)

The location was excellent, close to public transport to all areas of the city (tram, metro, bus, ferry) and the Galata Tower area. The views of the old town from our room and from the restaurant were spectacular. The meals we ate at the restaurant were some of the best we had during our time in Istanbul and the dinner menu was very reasonably priced, although the drinks were a little expensive and the mojitos we had were a little disappointing. For the best evening views, book a table about an hour before sunset (you won’t need to add any filters to your social media posts!) The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Sedat and Sinan, who followed up on any requests we had quickly and professionally. Their dedication to the service they provided made our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Momento Golden Horn and would recommend it to couples taking city breaks.

The cocktails were a little disappointing and the laundry service was expensive.

A great hotel , staff, food, and location. This is the 1st hotel that called us 2 days before we checked in to ask us if we need anything or a transfer. The manager Sadat made our stay wonderful, and whenever we ask him for anything, he usually tries his best to serve us. The location is super great and in the middle of everything , you can use the public transportation ( tramvay, metro, ships, tunnel tramvay which is next door to the hotel ) to reach anywhere and we extend our stay for four more days due to the wonderful staffs , location and value of money. The breakfast is also nice and the housekeeping made our room so clean . Thanx to Sadat and the wonderful staffs for making our stay wonderful.

This hotel is one of our best choices since we start travelling! Everything was perfect. The room was cleaned every day and the towels were changed everyday even if we didn’t ask to. The staff was very polite and helpfull, especially Sinan and Sedat, they gave us everything we needed, e.g. free water in the room, helped us to go where we wanted, called taxi/uber. Breakfast was very good, varied and they made us fresh eggs and salads when we asked for. We chose the room with the Bosphorus view and it was worth the extra price! The view was amazing, we enjoyed a little photo session.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location is perfect, making it easy to get around and explore. The facilities are excellent—everything was clean, modern, and very comfortable. A special mention to Sinan and Sharun, who were extremely welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. Their warmth and professionalism made me feel right at home. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the hotel’s restaurant being Michelin-recognized is truly a highlight—it was a dining experience to remember. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and top-quality dining.

We stayed in room 705, which had fantastic views over the Golden Horn to 2 mosques. The b/fasts were excellent from the 8th floor, with similar views to our room. The kitchen staff were really good, laughing and joking; and providing our every need; and the food was good. So also was the dinner in the same room. While at Momento we always felt part of the city scene. Location was close to everything, such as ... the ferries, the tram up to Taksim and within walking distance to Aya Sophia, Blue mosque and the cisterns and trams to north and west.

Nothing, just less people in the streets !!!
