Very perfect location, accessible to all facilities such as metro, tram, and buses. It is very near to Galata Tower, Istiklal Street, and Galata Bridge. A walking distance to Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace, and Galata port. Near to the Bosphorus Tour boats. I have enjoyed my stay. The top rooms were so great with wider city and lake views. The staff were so humble, very cooperative and friendly. My special thanks goes to Adnan. He made me feel at home. He helped me explain the routes to the visiting areas. Ugur was another very kind staff member. He is very communicative. Cooperative to explain to me where to visit and see. I am so humbled to be at Karakoy Aparts. For sure, I will come back again.

Please increase the frequency of making bed, at least once every two days. Also, put a sharp edged knife for cutting vegetables.

The property was easily accessible from the tram, ferry and road. Right by some great attractions, restaurants and shops. The building itself had a lovely pasta restaurant in it, lovely food. The staff were very nice and helpful, always asking how our day and stay is going, if there are any issues and whether we wanted our rooms cleaned. They also helped with taxis, directions and recommendations, very kind. we also had an issue with the rooms which they went out of their way to help us with. There is a spa in the premises which is nice because you can go straight up to your room afterwards. I would stay again if I went to the area again.

There was miscommunication about our rooms, we wanted single beds but the option on booking.com doesn’t guarantee your choices, I’d recommend msging the property to confirm if there’s any availability or not. The spa is not very private and it can be quite loud. Products such as conditioner shampoo etc in the bathrooms were super expired but we didn’t need them anyway so it didn’t affect us but we though it was not very good, also the cleanliness can be improved as dust, corners and the hall etc weren’t the cleanest.

I had an amazing experience staying at this hotel, thanks to the exceptional hospitality of the manager, Mr. Ugur. From the very beginning, even before I arrived, he went out of his way to assist me. I faced an issue with my airport pickup, and he personally ensured it was resolved smoothly and without stress. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable — a perfect retreat after a long day of travel. The attention to detail in both service and accommodation was evident throughout my stay. The hotel’s location was also ideal — centrally located yet peaceful, making it convenient to explore the area while enjoying a relaxing environment. Everything was simply perfect. I truly appreciated the warm and professional attitude of Mr. Ugur and the staff. Their genuine care made my stay not just pleasant, but memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and would definitely return myself.

I wish to say big thank you for receptionist guys, who helped with everything we asked,and we asked a lot 😅. We stayed in penthouse for 4 nights and the view is really good. I asked for extra bed, so we practically had 2 rooms,which is amazing. Also big thank you for allowing me to leave my luggage for 2 days until we were in Capadocia. I really appreciate 🙏. Tram station is just 3 min walking. Location is really,really good. Our last night on the way back we stayed in studio deluxe bcs penthouse was booked already. Also the view and studio was absolutely brilliant. Thank you for great taxi service also. We miss Istanbul and can't wait to come back to your hotel again. I liked the staff the most then the location, if the trip to Istanbul is for sightseeing, then the location is perfect. The last thing I liked was the size of the room. The price paid for the room is the best value in my opinion. I was lucky enough to get a sight upgrade. I stayed in room 1601, which has a superb view of the Galata bridge.

For me, the most unpleasant thing was the total lack of soundproofing. I usually sleep with earplugs but here even with earplugs it was slightly disturbing. My wife had trouble only on 2 evenings, one being the night of the Turkish national holiday. I would also mention some slightly outdated furniture.

I had a 12h layover and we book the room just to be able to rest during the day as we would be travelling for 48h. When we got there, the room was not ready yet because it was only 11am, but I asked if it would be possible to find us a room, even if we downgraded, just so that we could rest as we would not even spend the night there (our second flight was at 8pm). The employee gave us a better room than we booked that was ready and was so helpful and nice! The location is great and the room was perfectly fine, a bit small, but clean and with a big bathroom. If I come back to Istanbul for more than 12h, I will definitely come stay at this hotel!

The room was smaller than it appears in the pictures, but it was good enough for our stay!

The location was perfect, very close to galata tower, galata bridge. The apartment was comfortable, spacious, staff were friendly. Little cafe in reception was perfect for an Italian pasta dish to eat in or take to your room. I absolutely loved the brick work ceilings and walls. It was double glazed and had a balcony to drink my coffee on and listen to the rumble of the city. I wish I had taken the time to see the spa facilities and roof top restaurant but I was busy exploring

The room was clean and tidy but it could do with a deep clean to keep it ultra fresh with so many people staying it would be a shame to see it become shabby.

The hotel was central to the city with plenty of attractions nearby. The hotel has a wonderful spa and little cafe inside. The views of the city were nice. Bed was super comfortable. The staff were very friendly and offered discounts on spa use, free hammam and discount on upgrading the room to a deluxe. One member of staff went out of his way to take me to a taxi pick up point and wouldn’t accept my offer of a tip. Galata tower is a short walk away and the city is full of reasonable eateries and shops like any modern city

The staff at Karakoy Aparts were very friendly and supportive. I was only here for one night but if I was staying longer I would definitely would have. The rooms are spacious and the bed is very comfortable, and being so close to the Galata tower you are very close to a lot of the touristic spots but don't hear much of the atmosphere there, allowing for a comfortable nights sleep. They have just started on booking.com but i highly recommend staying with them if you are travelling to Istanbul.

- The room size is perfect for couples. We booked suites room so there is a lot of space and very comfortable. - The location is good but not excellent. It is easy to travel by tram to the Old Town area or take a boat to the other side. You can also walk across the Galata Bridge and Galata Port which is nice. There are many restaurants and cafe nearby. - The hotel staff is super friendly and very helpful. There is 24 hours front desk. - The hotel also provide the airport transfer (with extra charge) to both IST and SAW airports. We find this is very convenient with heavy big luggage. - All amenities are provided such as slipper, towels, kitchenette and 2 water bottles upon arriving - Water pressure and temp. are stable

- No sufficient light in our room. When we close blackout curtain, the light is very dim and we don't like that at all. - The Wifi signal is not good. We need to use our own data package. - It is very noisy at night. We can hear the sound of trams and cars passing by - The cleaning service needs to be informed at front desk whenever you want
