This is my 5th time in Istanbul, but this is the most strategic hotel with everything you need around you. 3 minutes walking to Karakoy tramvay, 2 minutes to pier. Many many cafés and restaurants around you. The staff Mr.Ezzad and Mr.Nazar were exceedingly polite and very helpful. They greet you with a wonderful smile each time you walk in and out of hotel and make you feel at home. The beds were very comfortable, so sleep was no problem, except for nearby shops that open very early in the morning. Thank you Ezzad and Nazar and another sir, I didn't catch his name 😊. Hope we can stay with you another visit.

We stayed for 19 days at the hotel, and believe it or not the cleaning woman only bothered to clean the room twice, one of them upon our request. When we complained, they said there was only one cleaning woman for whole hotel, something hotel owner really needs to take into consideration. Also walls of room were worn out and humid , so they were peeling, if rooms were painted and renovated things could be better.

Perfect place to stay! Nice & cozy hotel in very good location near all kinds of transport (to tram 200 m, boats even closer, metro around 800 m by beautiful embankment. Despite there are a lot of entertainment around, it was very quite in hotel. Fresh air from the sea. A lot of places with tasty food around. Very helpful & friendly staff. Enjoy it so much!

The hotel is at a perfect location. Less than 10 minute walk to galata tower and 2 min walk to the sea. Staff was also friendly and cooperative

The rooms are not in a perfect condition, but for the money they charge, I would say they are still very good compared to others.

Cleanliness

Very convinient location and very friendly staff.

The room wasn't clean and there was no shutters or any other way for blackout. The bed wasn't king size as was decrepted in Booking and there was no jacuzzi, as was descripted, as well.

The hotel is located very close to ferry stations, tram and other amenities. Nearby you can find a great breakfast place (Çerkezköy Delicatessen) and the Palace of baklava (Karaköy Güllüoğlu). The hotel is in a quiet street. The room size corresponds to the description. It had access to a lovely terrace with a view of the Bosphorus. The shower is spacious enough, and the water pressure was good.

The bed had a very soft mattress and used two one-person sheets to cover it. One of the sheets was an old worn one with holes and stains. The shower door was leaking because of a missing silicon strip at the bottom of the glass door. Also, the sanitair shower in the toilet was broken and leaking all over the place if you try to use it. One of the ceiling bulbs was glowing during the night when you turned off the light. It was annoying but solved with a sleeping face mask.

old rooms, dim lighting. not noise cancelling as advertised. my window didn't close all the way and the curtains weren't black-out. no kettle, tea or coffee in the room either

The location was perfect and the stuff was really kind.

The furniture was a bit old, but what's more important is that the room was not the cleanest... There was hair on the floor, some sticky gum on the wall, and dust. The double bed was pretty noncomfortable. We got the best price for a last minute booking, but I wouldn't say it's price worthy. I've stayed in Karakoy several times and paid the same amount. The other places were nicer than this hotel.

Very nice and helpful receptionist, great place, nearby a lot of restaurants and shops, waterfront and easy to get to public transport, comfortable beds

We stayed for 4 nights, when we arrived the room was very clean, and cleaning was made on the next day, but cleaner forgot to take away garbage bag with the garbage in the bathroom and then nobody cleaned our room until our departure(2 days), that was very unpleasant surprise!
