Small new hotel in center of busy area. Location is really good - just start of street with a lot of local restaurants that leads to Galataport area and 5 minutes walk to tram station and Galata bridge. Everything is new and of high quality, including furniture, amenities. Good cosmetics provided. Overall sound isolation is also ok - with comments in minuses. Check-in and check-out very fast, reception guy is really welcoming and ready to support if you have questions.

Be advised - they did not have breakfast (missed this during booking) - so if you need it - have a budget for nearby restaurants (and there are plenty within 2-3 minutes walk). Room size is overall ok (not big) - but ceiling is low (around 2.2-2.3 maybe only) - if it's important to you. Despite very nice repairs - it seems that door is completely get any sound through - anybody passing by, cleaner working - so on, it's good that hotel is small and people are rare there. And some rooms are with windows on top of restaurant - so there is a background music coming through window anyway till 23-30. Personally I was to tired to be bothered by it - but if your sleep is very delicate - ask for room with windows to other side.

Excellent hidden-gem of a hotel in a fantastic location. Rooms were huge by Istanbul/European standards, and very well renovated. Staff very friendly and helpful. Felt like a 5-star stay without the same pricetag.

The main door to the hotel room itself was very thin, and so often heard other guests coming and going. The curtains were also slightly broken in our room, and so blocking out the light required some creative positioning of our luggage.

It was very comfortable, clean and no smoking in the room. The rooms are modern, the bed and pillows are cloud comfy compared to other hotels I visited in Turkey. Turks seem to prefer hard mattresses and pillows vs plush. The entrance does not do justice to the rooms which are modern and well designed. My room was on the fifth floor (top). No noise from the busy mostly pedestrian street close to neat cafés and kebabs, Italian restaurants and pubs! It’s in a nice neighborhood of Galata and is near the port. Just have to cross the bridge to go to the spice market, Blue mosk and Grand bazar. You You have to try the pomegranate tea and pressed juice in the street. Amazing.

One thing I would ask them to add is an espresso machine as they serve instant coffee in the room. This to appeal to an international crowd. Keep in mind Turks drink Turkish coffee and tea. Also, they offered a good service but the front desk had difficulty speaking English and referred very basic touristy restaurants.

CdP Hotel is just brilliant. It sits quietly in the buzzy precinct between Galata tower and the Golden Horn - it's a fab Istanbul experience. So close to all the transport you will need (if you get yourself an Istanbul Travel card) . Walking first but then quickly preferencing public transport add ons as confidence grows and your curiosity about further afield takes hold, you can be in Istanbul's UNESCO wonderland with its mosque and church central precinct in minutes, walking distance to great food options as well as a supermarket and atms, and on rail and Metro, ferry and bus lines in a few minutes that take you everywhere around and across this great megaloposis of a city. I returned to to CdP Hotel 6 weeks later when the tourist season was ramping and found myself going back regularly to the simit shop 180m east along the street which opens at 5am and to a great and nearby fish wrap t/a with a constant queue of fans out its door. Short walk to the Istanbul Modern galleries. Fascinating walks to other nearby neighbourhoods. The CdP staff are authentic individuals who are helpful, kind and always on the job.

Location is perfect when you are travelling; get everything that you need, from morning coffee to a late-night dinner. Felt safe even at night. With a separate bedroom and a washroom, the stay was comfortable. Hats off to the staff; we wanted a cab from the hotel to the airport. He arranged for one. We got stuck before the hotel because of a truck unloading for another hotel for 20 minutes. The amazing cab driver took us to the airport in exactly 43 minutes. It was like a miracle. Thanks to the cab driver and the staff for arranging this.

There's not much to say here to not like the place. Other rooms were close enough that we could hear big laughters.

Casa de Port is my favourite place to stay in Istanbul. The location is invaluable, close to all modes of public transport and in a location buzzing with restaurants and cafes, but far enough removed to get a good night’s sleep. The rooms are very spacious and the beds comfortable. Just a few steps from the hotel entrance you’ll find an amazing view of Galata Tower, and within a few minutes walk (admittedly up hill) you’ll find yourself at the foot of that tower. The staff are particularly helpful - one of the reasons I will always come back to stay here. I can’t thank them enough for all their support leading up to, during and at the end of our stay.

I personally can find no fault but this is a no-thrills-about-it hotel; spacious, clean, safe and located very centrally in Istanbul.

My wife and I recently stayed at Casa De Port Hotel İstanbul and had an excellent experience. The location is absolutely perfect—situated in the heart of Karaköy, a vibrant and historic district that’s just a short walk away from the Galata Tower (about 10 minutes), the Bosphorus (5 minutes), and the famous Istiklal Street (15 minutes). You’ll find yourself surrounded by charming streets, boutique shops, and a plethora of dining options. The hotel is also conveniently located near key transport options. The Karaköy Ferry Terminal is just a 5-minute walk away, offering easy access to various parts of Istanbul by boat. The T1 Tram Line, Halic Metro Station, and the Tunnel (a historic underground funicular) are also nearby, making it effortless to reach all of Istanbul's iconic landmarks, including the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Topkapi Palace. One thing to note is that the hotel does not offer a breakfast service, but this is actually a plus. The area around the hotel is filled with fantastic places to eat. We highly recommend Namli Gurme, which offers an incredible variety of Turkish delights and delicacies. If you're looking for a cozy spot for coffee, Rafi is just around the corner and serves excellent brews. The hotel itself is very well-maintained, with daily housekeeping that keeps the rooms spotless. We particularly appreciated that they provide a liter of water each day, which is a nice touch. The Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, which was perfect for both work and leisure during our stay. Additionally, the check-in and check-out processes were quick and hassle-free, making the start and end of our stay smooth and stress-free.

However, there are a couple of downsides to be aware of. Since the hotel is surrounded by lively restaurants that stay open late, it can be quite noisy at night. We would highly recommend using earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Also, despite the hotel’s non-smoking policy, some guests unfortunately ignored this rule and smoked in their rooms, which is absolutely unacceptable. Overall, Casa De Port Hotel offers a great blend of comfort, convenience, and local flavor, but it’s important to be prepared for some potential disturbances. Despite these issues, we would still consider staying here again on our next visit to Istanbul.

Great value for the price and very centrally located, with tons of restaurants nearby and a tram stop just a short walk away. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Overall, a really convenient and pleasant stay!

Istanbul is a beautiful and vibrant city, but it’s definitely lively—day and night! You’ll hear music, traffic, and people, which adds to the city’s energy. It didn’t bother me at all, and I still slept great, but just a heads-up if you're sensitive to noise. A little white noise on your phone and you’re good to go!

Perfectly located near the port in a bustling lively area, close to Karakoy tram stop and the Galata bridge. Surprisingly quiet, air conditioned spacious rooms, larger than most, with fridge, tea/ coffee making. Comfortable bed, clean, good shower. Step outside to an abundance of restaurants with a lively, safe atmosphere, close to transport to all major sites and easy walk to cruise port. We will come back.

Our fault, we could not get the air conditioner to work but the staff were very helpful, coming to make sure that the window was closed completely to activate the air. A sign to advise this would be very useful.

The hotel was everything we asked for.The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city..near every major sightseeing...and safe to walk anytime, day or night. The stuff was very polite , especially Nevzat. He is the kindest hotel employee we have ever seen. He was always with a smile and he helped us so much during check out with the taxi communication .For almost an hour during heavy rainfall he was going back and forth to find our driver , out of politeness . The room was very spacious, comfortable , clean , and fully equiped ( bath amenities, slippers , water and tea etc) and so was the bathroom. I would stay there again for sure when i revisit Istanbul!
