- no elevator(but they informed about it in advance) - poor breakfast, no buffet, not like on photo, no eggs etc They bring you a plate with some piece of cheese and ham, cucumber, tomato, bread, butter and honey. Tea or coffee. that’s it, for someone will be enough - the facilities in a shower and toilet should be fixed, pipes are leaking - old photos of building enter, no photos of a rooms for group of people(4-5)

Cheers Porthouse is a real gem right in the middle of Karaköy, one of Istanbul’s coolest and most lively neighborhoods. Not much to not like. If you have a car, maybe check your parking lot options as the hotel is in a street that is closed for cars.

Spacious, clean rooms, excellent location in Krikoy. A group of young men at the reception are wonderful, cooperative, and provide the services you need with ease and activity. I especially thank Mr. Nader. All thanks and appreciation to you.

my family stayed here for one week, but last day we got a food poisoning in a restaurant nearby and were not able to travel until our flight, I’ve asked on reception to extra pay, to stay 5 more hours, and we were informed that all rooms are booked, but on booking they were still available and I already booked it for one night, paid extra day, after that they gave us a small room for 2 people only, saying that there is a mistake on booking and my money won’t be refunded anyway, so we agreed to stay 5 hours in a small room with checkout at 12 and checkin in 18.00

The staff and location were the best!! Our apartment was quiet, with good shower. Breakfast was basic but good (also, is not a buffet as in some of the photos they have on their booking.com page). Jasmine and Enez were exceptional! Helped us with everything and we had nice chats with them as well. Murat, the manager I think, was nice as well but knows only basic English. Murat, if you see this, you need to learn better English. :) We had to stay 5 more days in Istanbul due to a problem with our car, and they made the days nice and bearable. Location is the best in Istanbul! Walking distance from everything. Also, they have the port 2 minutes from them, from where you can take cheap ferries to the Asian part of Istanbul.

The location of the property is PERFECT. Located in Karaköy, one of the most central and vibrant neighborhoods in Istanbul, 2 minutes from the Galata Port, 10 minutes from Galata Tower and Galata Bridge. The staff members are so helpful and nice. When we arrived the rooms were not quite ready but Jasmine was so helpful and brought towels and everything in minutes. Also her English is the best we heard in Istanbul. The family suite is nice and quiet. We were located on the 3rd floor with not the best view but at least it was very quiet and we didn’t hear the noise from the street. In the family suite the shower and toilet are private, if someone was worried about that. One room is very comfortable but the other one is a bit small, still ok for us though. Murat, the owner’s brother was also very helpful and everyone from the staff, helping us with parking and finding cheap places to eat and drink, etc. They won’t come and clean your room everyday, but when you ask them politely they will change your towels, bed sheets and clean the toilets, etc. But you have to ask them to do that. Breakfast is simple but really good. The photos are a bit old on Booking. com as the building was recently renovated and the bar looks amazing. Wi-Fi is properly working.

Hakan, owner/manager is extremely fluent in English. He is interested in making his guests have fun. This place would be the first stop on a pub crawl! It’s in the heart of downtown close to Galata bridge and all other attractions.

Long stairs, 4 floors, but no need to fret, there’s help lugging your luggage up n down.

The location was great, easy access to everywhere. We particularly liked the bar on the ground floor, cocktails were amazing. It was a bit small though and hard to find a table on some nights. The rooms were clean and the staff were very attentive and kind.

Despite middle of the night on-line booking, they accept Late Check in (3m) and Late Check Out (3pm). Breakfast was great. Excellent price versus Services offer. Location in the Heart of Karakoy was excellent. close to restaurant, shopping public transport...
