Wonderful location! Close to the waterfront, close to city transit and lots of dining options located behind the restaurant. Staff is so friendly and genuinely cares about making your stay the most comfortable. The concierge is awesome and provided us with plenty of helpful information. The hotel itself is beautiful and spotless. The bed is very comfortable and the shower was always hot with good water pressure.

The breakfast is quite expensive, you’re much better off to opt to go without and dine at a nearby restaurant! However if you get a good deal with it included with your stay, it does have a large selection and is convenient.

Whike the driving reason why I chose JW Marriott was they had a room with a hot tub on a terrace, I quickly learned that I should have chose it for their staff who went above and beyond to give top notch service. And that service started at the moment I arrived. My prearranged car service (thru Booking.com) did not show up at the airport so I grabbed a cab. When I arrived at the hotel, the cab driver would not accept Amex or Visa or Euros or Dollars and the very attentive bellboy (Tumaton?) noticed the problem, spoke to the driver in Turkish, negotiated a better rate, paid him from hotel funds, and quickly got me to the front desk. There was a small problem with the hot tub (it needs to be cleaned and filled for each use like a jetted bathtub) but Taner, the Assistant Manager, resolved the problem quickly and went above and beyond to make my stay error-free and easy. By the way, every hotel has problems but it is how they respond to a problem that sets great hotels apart. The JW team was excellent in this regard. In terms of restaurant, exotic seafood is not my taste so I only ate once in Octo — the hotel’s rooftop restaurant. Service was excellent but the food was not for me. Also shower water pressure was a 10/10 and laundry service was top notch. Desserts and drinks were left for me daily in the room - a nice touch.

Construction is happening next door but it was not a noise factor. Not a big deal.

The hotel is quite new, clean and exceptionally well organised. The staff is very kind, polite and helpful, and the greatest asset of the property. It has marvellous rooftop restaurant and open bar, overlooking the Bosphorus, which made mornings and evenings quite pleasant without having to leave the hotel. The spa centre is also very nice and convenient, with amenities such as well equipped gym, Finnish sauna, steam sauna and hammam. Massages are available as well. Last but not least, being located right next to the Galataport, a waterfront shopping, gastronomy and art hotspot of Karaköy, makes it quite easy and convenient to navigate Istanbul, whether on foot or by public transport. Overall, stay at this hotel was an amazing experience and from now on will be my home away from home when in Istanbul. Thank you for your service.

Great 👍 in general. Staff were friendly cooperative and hospital. In particular, I commend and praise Safak Erten, the executive chef for his welcoming nature and hospitable manner. Also, the wonderful Ruveyda Bakirhan food & beverage supervisor. Her energetic presence in the restaurant floor and the positive energy she radiates add a refreshing flavour and generous atmosphere. I also would like to extend my appreciation to Chef Asl And the waiters Sedat and Cihan. Also in lobby Forat and Sami. I hope the spelling is correct.

JW Marriott Istanbul Bosphorus was exceptional. The hotel’s location in Karaköy offers stunning Bosphorus views and easy access to Istanbul’s main attractions. The rooms are luxurious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The staff truly stand out, providing attentive and personalized service that made my stay unforgettable. The rooftop restaurant is a highlight, offering breathtaking views and delicious Turkish and international cuisine. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, and the dining experience overall was top-notch.

The staff of this hotel are simply amazing! They are very professional and very friendly! The room was very nice and comfortable! The location is very convenient and nearby the Galataport which is a very nice touristic location! The unique atmosphere while walking through the roads which are surrounded with restaurants and coffee shops is very enjoyable and convenient!

I would’ve loved it if the Gym was a bit more spacious, in addition, some of the equipment were out of order. I enjoy my morning workout and it’s part of my daily routine.
