The location of this hotel is wonderful central location to all public transport amenities. The hotel staff professional and work fantastic as team. Every single staff member from Reception to cleaning to management was magnificent and I would definitely return. The food and beverage staff at the breakfast buffet outstanding made you feel so comfortable and any request was no drama. I would really like to thank the staff for making my stay special.

Location was excellent, 3 min walking distance from Galata bridge. The hotel is on a narrow street, which means it's very quiet and avoids the huge noise coming from Tersane street. The breakfast is very good, having a variety of nuts, dried fruits and honey which you can accompany with yoghurt. There are also different choices everyday regarding traditional dishes, like sausages, crepes, grilled vegetables and so. There's also a complete menu of different eggs plates to select from, which are prepared at that moment. Staff was kind and helpful and provided great tips and info when we asked for tourist advice.

Still haven't figured out why it's considered a 5-star hotel. Rooms were modern, clean and adequately roomy (even the 18m2 one), but I can't feel I got some "special" treatment at any point in order to rank it as 5-star. Also both the espresso and the filter coffee coming from the breakfast machine are almost inedible, so I suggest you plan for a takeaway coffee once you get out of the hotel (there are a lot of places nearby). Finally bear in mind that prices usually drop when you are getting close to the trip time. For example we noticed that 1 month before the trip the room was ~100Euros per night and 2 weeks before it dropped to ~75-80Euros. This is typical to Istanbul.

Loved everything ! Location was very near Galata tower Room was spotless and bed was comfortable Breakfast was good. Burcu in breakfast area was super friendly, always smiling and helpful. Zyia at reception was also friendly and had good english also helped us with navigating the city. Hotel is 5 steps aways from tube (not metro) and 5 min away from ferry port takes you anywhere in asian side and 10 min away from Şishane metro station

Room and bathroom were small having 2 large suitcases was a trouble as we weren’t able to walk without jumping over the bags. Also Galata area is on a hill so all streets are narrow and very steep hence not recommended for elder people or people with walking difficulties.

Very nice hotel, with a strategic position with respect to the city centre. Excellent staff, very kind and supportive for any issue, operating also via Whatsapp and answering in real time. We selected a single room, it is ok even though not very large, but the bathroom is new and well furnished. Nice rooftop restaurant with outstanding panoramic view on the city centre.

Breakfast is ok, but it could include more sweet food.

Excellent location- close to tram and next door to funicular that takes you up to istiklal caddesi and metro station. Korakoy ferry pier within 10 minutes walk - we took ferry to Kadikoy from there. Can also easily walk across to Sirkeci and eminonu via the bridge. And bonus 5min climb up to Galata tower. Room was good sized and modern. Breakfast was more than adequate with eggs done the way you want and an opportunity to try some Turkish sweets. Plus point - it was serviced by wonderful lady called Burchu - always smiling and kind.

You can make your decision based on this review.... Start with the location: One of the best locations in Istanbul in terms of access to tourist spots. Nice and clean location. Close to bosphorus also. About Room: Thanks to Azzap first. They gave me a nice room with city view. But thats true as said by other reviewers. Room and toilet size is a bit small but I think its all over the same in Turkish hotels. If you are two adults, its fine but if you have 1-2 kids as well, then dont try to adjust in double room, select family/king size room if they have. About Service & Facilities: Service was good. They gave checkin on time. Staff is always helping and polite. Most of the staff speak/understand English. Lift is also good and fast. Room is very clean and they did the room cleaning daily. Rooftop is also very amazing. Breakfast is nice but limited variety. Final thoughts: A very nice, modern and clean hotel. It was a good value for money for me. I will select this hotel again on my next visit.

1. They accept the payments in Euros but they return the change in Liras not Euros. That was strange for me. 2. They give you only 2 water bottles per day. I think for good hotels like this there should not be any limit on number of bottles.

Spotlessly clean rooms. Extremely comfortable bed and pillows! Quiet hotel with daily free supplies in water and coffee capsules. The roof restaurant is amazing!!! The view,the service and the food were really excellent! Reception was very kind and helpful! Location was perfect! Highly recommended!

The rooms were a little small

Newly renovated, beautifully appointed lobby. Furniture and fragrance in lobby and were very relaxing. Front desk staff were very helpful when needed and very professional. Rooms are perfectly adequate for this boutique hotel. Breakfast staff was one of the nicest people you could meet. Bright and smiling. A real pleasure. The morning river view and evening city views of Istanbul are beautiful. The evening staff at the restaurant are equally professional and attentive. Our bedrooms Rooms were spotless also.

Very very Minor things…. It’s an old (recently restored) building, so their lift is necessarily small with max capacity of 3 x 6ft men.

Hotel has perfect location, very close to the pier, funicular and tram, some main tourist attractions. Neighbourhood has great vibes, nice places for coffee and food. Room itself was clean, had everything what was needed. Rooftop terrace is amazing, you can have breakfast or dinner there, views are stunning, overlooking the river and mosques. Breakfast was good, you can order variuos egg dishes from the menu. I would really choose this hotel for sightseeing Istanbul.

The rooms are really very small, so you should consider in case you are traveling with large suitcases or prefer to have more space. Breakfast is the same every day, so you might get bored if staying longer.

Great location and easy to go anywhere, trams, buses and ferry port in a very short walking distance. Also Karakoy has plenty of food, coffee and drink options during the whole day. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast area was beautiful with a stunning view of Hagia Sophia, the big mosques and Bosphorus. Also breakfast was Turkish buffet with lots of nice and quality options.

Lifts are a bit slow. Do not expect large size rooms, we knew what to expect as the majority of hotels in the area have relatively smaller rooms, so this is normal.
