The location was amazing and the staff were very friendly and efficient, The room was very clean and had everything you could wish for, it was also much bigger than I was expecting from a city centre hotel. Check in was very quick, as was the check out and overall we were very happy with our stay here, I would definitely recommend this hotel for couples on a city break.

The walls are very thin and we could hear the guests in the rooms on either side, the TVs from both rooms were very loud. The soundproofing for the streets was brilliant and you couldn't hear the outside noise at all. The decor and maintenance of the rooms could use a bit of an update, although it was very clean it could use a lick of paint

Everything was amazing, we truly enjoyed our stay. The stuff were nice and helped us with everything we needed. They helped us with everything we asked for - Both on public transportation and at local attractions :) The room was beautiful and clean, there was everything we needed. The location was wonderful and we did almost everything by walk. We had a great time - highly recommended!

The breakfast was a wonderful surprise. There was something for everyone- eggs, meats, fruit and veggies, cereal, yogurt and breads. The fresh juice was a hit and the coffee was good. The staff were so helpful and kind. The location was great, since it was in the center of everything, although we found the number of people sleeping on the street and using the bathroom right outside the hotel a bit off-putting.

Perfect location, right next to Gran Vía and quite close to metro stations, places of interest, shopping area, restaurants and theaters. Very clean and nicely renovated. Water and bathroom products were also provided.

As we were four, we had a room with two bathrooms and the one did not have hot water, we informed the receptionist though to get it fixed. Also, there were not many plugs in the room e.g. for chargers, hairdryers etc. This might cause inconvenience in the big rooms with many guests.

Very near shops, restaurants, etc. Many landmarks are walkable from the hotel. Rooms and toilets were clean and beds comfortable. I’m glad that we included daily breakfasts in our booking since things start a little later here in Spain. Breakfast was ample. Staff were kind and helpful. Hotel is eco-friendly. Taxi service from and to the airport is easy to get and rate is fixed.

Reception, waiting area, elevator were small, same with the rooms. Room can feel warm at times so we opened the windows once in a while to let the cold air in.

The location was ideal for us as it was in the middle of the city and close to all the attractions we could visit with in a short period of time. The staff was friendly, the hotel offered a good breakfast and rooms were clean. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

The rooms we got didn't have the greatest view as the windows were facing the narrow lane. The rooms looked a bit old, except the bathroom, which seemed to be renovated recently.

The location is 10/10 Staff helpful and polite Breakfast very good, especially the coffee Fair price considering its location Reacted very well to our previous problems…..and considering only feet off Grand Via…..so quiet…..we actually slept in til 8.30-9 am most days

The electrics kept tripping, but house maintenance were sent up and on the job straight away. And a little petty maybe, but pillows to big and chunky….i need a slim one for my neck….again, sorted out straight away by reception.

The hotel is located in one of the streets crossing the Gran Via. Price is very reasonable considering the location. Room was very small but functional. You won't need more space if you are travelling with small bags.

Although all the surfaces were clean, the air in the room was a little dusty. In addition, I didn't like the bed clothes that doesn't full cover the duvet.

We loved the location. Everything is within walking distance. The bed is very comfortable, and the bathroom is spotless. If returning to Spain, I definitely will be staying again over here for the price and value.

The water in the shower was slow to go down and, in my case, it was a long trip so we had a lot of luggage and because of the suitcases there wasn't a lot of room to walk in the room easily but besides that everything was excellent.

I am happy to share my experience at the Petit Palace Cliper Gran Vía hotel in Madrid. The hotel is located in the center of the city, making it an ideal location for those who want to enjoy all the attractions Madrid offers. I appreciated the proximity to tourist sites such as museums, theatre, restaurants, shops, parks, etc. Everything was within walking distance. The Petit Palace Cliper-Gran Vía offers one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. It was diverse, of high quality, and truly superb. The staff was friendly and spoke English, which was convenient for me as I do not speak Spanish. They also assisted in finding necessary places and advised on how to best spend time in Madrid. Additionally, the bed and mattress were very comfortable. The bathroom was new and clean, making my stay even more comfortable. I also appreciated receiving a welcome drink in the hot weather and that the staff provided assistance with arranging transportation. My partner and I are a young couple, and the room felt cozy and comfortable. We appreciated the thoughtful design and attention to detail in the room's decor, which made it feel like a home away from home. Overall, we had a wonderful experience staying at the Petit Palace and would highly recommend it to other couples or individuals visiting Madrid. Overall, I would recommend the Petit Palace Cliper-Gran Vía Hotel for those looking for a central location, friendly staff, great breakfast, and comfortable rooms. I look forward to my next trip to Madrid and hope to stay at the Petit Palace Cliper-Gran Vía again.

The only downside I noticed was that the safe in the room was not working. However, this did not spoil my stay, and I still consider my experience at the Petit Palace Cliper-Gran Vía excellent.
