Spacious room, well equipped, very comfortable beds, nice bathroom. The hotel is in the vicinity of the train station and the city center.

Had to wait about an hour and a half to get our room, after the indicated check-in time (15:00). If I wouldn’t have bothered the reception team regularly, it might have been even longer. At some point, around 16:20, one of the reception staff berated me for not having patience. I wouldn’t call that customer friendly behaviour. When we finally got the room keys (16:30), and entered the room, we found out that the trash bins had not been emptied, but we were very tired to take up another battle at that time. The rest of the room seemed (hopefully) very clean.

I had a great time in NH Utrecht. The hotel looked modern, both in terms of the rooms and the overall facilities. The halls before reaching your room, for example, were quite pleasant. The staff were friendly and helped us with every request (special shoutout to Francisco in the reception). The rooms were clean, spacious, and pleasant to be in. The location was great, right outside of the train station. We were offered candy, fruit, water, and tea at the reception whenever we wanted. We were also given a free drink for every day we chose not to have our room cleaned. Wi-fi was fast and reliable. There was a kettle and free tea in the room. The bathroom was clean and fully equipped with a nice shower (two different shower heads), a hair dryer, soap, body wash, and shampoo… I really could go on and on. NH really knocked it out of the park.

I’m struggling to find things I disliked about our stay, there truly aren’t many things I could mention. If I truly had to mention something, there were some repairs being done to the main door in one of the mornings we were at the hotel, which meant we had to use a secondary door. But even this “””issue””” wasn’t an issue at all, seeing as the secondary door was right next to the main one and the problem was solved within the day. Truly, our stay was great.

Regarding the hotel itself, almost everything was great. Very good value for what we paied (two connected rooms for less than 100€ per room per night). Clean, solid quality, nice facilities... At a normal hotel you couldn't wish for more.

The communication regarding a possible late-checkout was difficult. We got at least three different infos (officially from the NH Hotel group) via their homepage, the telephone hotline and the Booking-chat. The outcome was absolutely fine, but until our check-in we didn't know for sure which info (check-out time and price) will be the right one. Also, the (external) parking garage massively increased their prices a few days before our arrival but the hotel homepage still stated the old ones. The hotel is not responsible for the parking of course but this old (lower) price-info led us to park there (instead of somewhere else maybe). Not a big deal, just a bit unlucky.

Staff - friendly, really helpful and just generally made the hotel have a great atmosphere. A few really nice unexpected things eg they brought my son out colouring pencils and paper when he was at breakfast.. Every single member of staff we interacted with was enthusiastic, helpful and had a smile on their face. The breakfast was brilliant with good quality ingredients and a wide range of options. The place was spotlessly clean, super comfy and I slept great.

Honestly could not find anything bad to say.

Perfect location for tourism, minutes away from the main railway station and within walking distance from the city centre. The area seemed very safe, too. The room was clean, well equipped and modern. It even had both EU and UK sockets. We didn't stay for long, but we surely didn't notice any issues. Staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast with a lot of variety. Extended duration, too! We woke up pretty late and still managed to have a nice breakfast with no rush.

Truery amazing place tu stay! Hotel was really nice and clean, rooms were spacious and bright. Extraordinary breakfasts - never had bigger choice of tasty meals in northern part of Europe. Truely amazing for everyone vith dietary limitations. Personal totally great, professional and with a great contact with guests. There was place to safely keep bicycles. Hotel located just by the central station and very close to exhibition halls, so it's very convinient for someone who uses it.

Good location near station. Nicely modernised room with pleasing decor. Beds comfortable and shower powerful and easy to adjust. Friendly staff. Bar and restaurant pleasant to use.

No grab handle in slippery shower (safety risk). Modern ‘bowl’ type washbasin too high so uncomfortable to use. Breakfast good but expensive. Pity the former ‘Railway Bar’ at the top of the tower with views over the station has been closed. Despite new buildings blocking some views it would still be a nice feature.

We ended up at this hotel after we had been evacuated from a night train. We were a party of 12 Girl Guides and 3 adult leaders who were inter railing across Europe and this was an unplanned stay. The check in staff member we spoke to was amazing, I am sure he had already had a very long, stressful night but he was so helpful and patient when checking us in. HE tried his best to get us rooms as close together as possible, he managed to split us across 2 floors so we could have at least one leader on each floor.

The stay was great and the girls really did enjoy a night in a hotel after staying the hostels we had used so far. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful.

We stayed for one night and were looking for a hotel close to the city center, as we had plans in central Utrecht. The location was perfect for that. What made our experience especially memorable was being chosen as the “guests of the day” — we received a lovely gift of delicious candies featuring iconic Dutch landmarks. On top of that, we were offered a complimentary breakfast, which was absolutely excellent. We’ll definitely stay here again when we return to Utrecht.

NH Utrecht is very conveniently located for the railway station. Despite its location I wasn't bothered by street noise at all during my stay. I liked the tea/coffee making facilities. I also liked the fact that there was an empty fridge in the room, to store my own food and snacks. The room was a generous size for one person. It was good to have two chairs - there was both a desk chair, and a comfy armchair. I had breakfast at the hotel each morning, and was impressed by the choice available.

The hotel is located in an area that is very modern - the immediate surroundings don't have the character that one finds in the historic part of Utrecht. However, the old town is only about 10-15 minutes walk away.
