I liked the staff Mr. Eddie and Mike. They went out of their way to be helpful, kind and exceeded my expectations. Mr. Eddie and Mike made my stay better. They are why I would stay there again! All of the staff except 2 people were so friendly and helpful. I couldn't be happier with the staff except the two people who were there when I checked out.

There was a flood and the smell when it was drying came through the vents in our room. It was a bad smell and made my allergies and breathing bad. I mentioned it to the person when I checked out and she ignored it. She didn't even ask how my stay was. I told her about the smell and she ignored me. I feel I should have been compensated something for the trouble.

Marissa at the reception was exceptional and the filipino gentleman and the other lad was on the spot very helpful. the hotel room was clean. I like the extra sofa bed for the 2 queen bed room, it was very comfortable to sleep for a family with 3 kids.I would definitely come back in this hotel in the winter.

difficult parking, although its given already since its in DC. we have to pay extra for the parking. However the staff where very helpful. the toilet set up isnt very private since its right in front of the room entrance door. Nevertheless it did not compromise the quality of the comfortable stay. still love the hotel.

Beautiful location

The breakfast room was overwhelmed crowded. Food was not reached in time. The woman in charge was bossy and short with her responses

Great location and a pretty good price for DC. The rooms are large, modern and clean. We found the staff particularly friendly and helpful from the valet to the front desk to the breakfast and other hotel staff.

Breakfast was good but we were left wondering why it was so highly rated and why it was being marketed in the hotel as upgraded. The coffee tasted scorched and while I prefer it black could only drink it with milk. The scrambled eggs were from a package and microwaved. Cut fruit seemed like it was from food service package. Bagels were definitely from a plastic bag.

The staff was very friendly. Mustaffa and Lance were very professional, and breakfast was amazing. The location was almost very convenient. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. They often asked how the visit was going and recommended great places to eat. I would most definitely recommend that anyone who stays here get to experience the hospitality the staff showed me and my family.

There were three things I did not enjoy about our stay. 1. There was mold in the shower, not much but enough to recognize. 2. There was dust on the wall, so much that you could see. 3. The beds were very uncomfortable for me. It seems like they need to be replaced in the room we had.

Check in (and check out) was good with a friendly staff member. My room was big with the perfect temperature. I noticed that the hotel had made good efforts on sustainability since my last stay pre-covid ,such as the removal of plastic single use breakfast dishes and utensils and no plastic cups in the bathrooms. The hotel is situated very close to the White House and National Mall so perfect for those who like to run. Lots of restaurant choices neadby. Also very practical to get to Dulles airport on the train.

I didn't like the extra thick matress-topper on my bed! I felt like I was sleeping in a hollow. There was a wardrobe right in front of the only window which cut out the light. I had made a specific request in my booking for a bright room as I was going to be working from my room most of the day but this was not granted - probably just because they did not check when I checked in but they made this up to me in Marriott points when I checked out which was well handled. The restaurant food in the evening was a bit limited in choice but ok for a night.

Very close to The White House. The person at front desk was excellent and helpful. I was having issues with my credit card, and he was wonderful, patience and helpful during the long minutes that i was solving the problem with the bank. At the end all went perfect

I was expecting a better view of the city. I was charged extra for parking. The valet parking was only for one entrance, if you want to take the car out and back again, you will be charged again.

Fantastic location close to the metro and the White House. Loved the buffet breakfast.

2 things happened but both were resolved quickly. First we were put in a room where the blinds couldn’t be closed but we were moved rooms very quickly. Second thing was we were charged for parking even though we didn’t have a car but on checkout a fabulous staff member, Ms. Tee, realised the error and immediately organised a refund.

The staff stood out the most. The staff all seemed happy and were so polite and ready to serve or talk to guests. I was so impressed I talked to the manager because I have been all over the world and this staff was one of if not the best we have ever had. I loved the location in walking distance to everything we wanted to see and close enough to the metro if we needed it. The breakfast again was one of the best! so many choices and each choice was delicious. Seriously one if the next places we have ever stayed.

The location was very good. The breakfast, we had one day was good.

Our room had a structural column in the room, blocking access to the bed on one side. The sliding bathroom door did not close completely and the latch never met the Grove. Calling down to the front desk, nobody ever picked up. The mini refrigerator never got cold. Also no bath mats, jad to ask for them.
