I've stayed at many Hamptons, and this one generally ranks right up at the top. The staff was very friendly, and showed they cared about the guests, especially when things went a little sideways. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, and the room was spacious and clean.

Although I won't blame the staff at the hotel, the elevators need to be fixed. One was completely out of service, and the other one would go in and out, making us have to hoof it up the stairs to our room. Fortunately, we were on the 4th floor, but if we were any higher, it would have been rough. Also, housekeeping was a little stingy on the resupply. Has to ask for supplies at the front desk, but they were very apologetic and provided it quickly.

I live pretty far from Washington, DC and I had a function to go, so I had to stay overnight in the city. The function ended late, and I didn't want to be driving home, considering the distance and the weather (particularly the ice still surrounding my home. The function was near the White House. So, it was comforting when the function was over that all I had to do was walk a very short distance to the hotel instead of driving miles to get home late at night. The hotel was more than I expected. From the reasonable room rates to the helpful staff to the delicious and convenient morning breakfast to all of the other amenities the hotel offered, everything was more than worth its value. The free wifi turned out to work very well and I could get a lot of work done. I never even knew a Hampton Inn was there. The room was very comfortable with all of the services of a luxury hotel. I highly recommend a stay there.

The air running through the room was not warm but a little cool. However, it wasn't too cool so as not to be discomforting -- just a small annoyance.

We arrived at the hotel later than anticipated but having informed them of this problem there was a receptionist at the desk waiting for us to arrive. Very welcome since it was nearly midnight. The hotel itself was lovely. The staff were amazing and very helpful. Breakfast was awesome. The view from our room was not great but we only spent a short time in our room spending most of the time out sightseeing, which was fabulous. Easily within walking distance of all the major attractions. Good location for places to eat.

The buffet breakfast was the best we’ve had so far in the US. It had a good variety & some healthy options. The rooms were very spacious & the location was great. Tea and coffee available in the lobby at all times , and they even had free cookies in the afternoon which were amazing. I’m not sure if that’s a regular thing though.

The bathroom in our room needed some attention. The bath spout was coming off the wall and the grouting needed some fixing. Other than that, we had no issues.

The elevator was very loud and had a rattling sound. The gentleman at the front counter who checked me in was a bit rude to everyone who asked about parking. There's literally a garage across the street, you guys should really do a deal with them for reduced rates for stays with your guests. That would avoid all the awkward questions and the gentleman wouldn't be so annoyed when people asked him where to park. Also the pillows on my bed sucked, too soft and flat. They hurt my neck. Get some memory foam to support your head.

The hotel was centrally located. We were able to walk to all major attractions and it was a 2 minute walk from the metro station so made it very easy travelling to the airport. The room was very comfortable and the staff were so friendly- especially Paris when we were checking it. The breakfast was lovely and it was great there were vegan friendly options too- fruit, non dairy milks, cereals, fresh juice, toast and peanut butter. There is a coffee dock there 24 hour and fresh cookies in the evening. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was perfect

The hotel is beautiful, location is perfect for a stay in DC, close to restaurants, events and sight seeing. The staff were all just pleasant, personable and professional. A special thank you to Amber at the Front Desk, she was kind and courteous and had a pleasant demeanor. Breakfast was nice and hot, really a nice benefit to have onsite. The beds were extremely comfy and the room was spacious and airy, everything was impeccable! Absolutely would stay here again!

The location was great with walking distance to the big sites. Easily accessible to bus and subway. Friendly staff. Wifi and breakfast included. Very comfortable beds!! And they had an indoor pool.

The pool had so much chlorine, it bleached my purple bathingsuit to a greyish pink in an hour. We also got rashes afterwards. That is my only true complaint. Maybe that the guest dryer was $4! (And someone opened it’s door and didn’t close it and restart it, so my stuff was still moist!)

The staff was amazing, location was great , decent size room, valet service available, a private parking right in front of the hotel, plenty of restaurants around, white house about 10 min walk

The carpet in the room was not really clean which made my allergies worse, the bathroom is kind of old and the shower had some mold. Breakfast was not good, all products were poor quality. Thin walls, our neighbors were very noisy which is not the hotel fault but we had a terrible sleep because of the bad sound insulation. Good place for a one night stay or 2 though

Good location, close to the White House and all other attractions in Washington. We didn't use public transportation. The hotel was OK with a pool. The room was clean, with an interior window overlooking the roof where the fans were located. They were quite loud, which made sleeping difficult. Comfortable and large bed. Good and varied breakfast. I recommend this hotel, but please avoid a room with fans.
