Their service was great! I expected that because I had stayed at this hotel, which is way I made a reservation again. Their hospitality was more than I expected! The concierge at the front desk, the handyman who came and fixed the AC issue, the lady who gave another water bottle, everyone, was amazing. I'll definitely stay at this hotel, again.

I don't have anything that I didn't like. If I have to add something, the window glasses might have been cleaned up more from outside because I expected a good view of the White House side. But it did not a big deal, actually.

The location is amazing and every interaction with the employees was pleasant. The service and attentiveness of the employees is as good or better than any 5 star hotel I have ever have visited, domestic or foreign. It is the quintessential boutique hotel experience that feels very intimate and personal.

The room was on the smaller side and the bathroom was smaller than any I have ever seen in a luxury hotel. There was only room for myself in the bathroom and even that was a tight fit. There also did not seem to be much sound insulation in the room. I heard every door open/close and every conversation in the hallway and neighboring rooms. If you are a light sleeper, this hotel may not be a good fit.

The location is unbearable. The staff were all wonderful. And I love a classic old hotel. Plus the beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet.

As much as I love a classic old hotel, this one really needs a refresh. But hopefully a sensitive one that respects what is great about it now. The phone system didn’t work and the bath faucet diverter didn’t work to turn the shower on. That was a ln unwelcome surprise in the morning.

From the moment you arrive until you leave, you’re greeted by the most welcoming, friendly and helpful hotel staff. The hotel itself is exceptionally beautiful as well and gives off an english grand house vibes.

The only complaint I had was that the floors made a creek sound. It’s cute and adds to the english house feel until you’re trying to sleep and here the little sounds from the floor above. Not great for a light sleeper.

The staff was courteous and kind and always a step ahead of us. And the location is perfection! I’ve stayed many places in DC, and it’s nice to not have to drive or cab. Walking in a city really changes the experience for the better, and we couldn’t have done that if we’d stayed elsewhere.

The employees were exceptional. Anya at the front desk could not have been more helpful and kind. Housekeeping staff member helped with ice one evening and was lovely! One of the gentlemen at the door gave us a tour of the rooftop setting. I'm sorry I didn't capture their names.

Nothing - it’s a beautiful place. It’s just hard to give full makes to a place for facilities when it’s old and quaint and doesn’t have a pool etc

The breakfast was excellent and room service prompt and the food was delish. A special hit was the chocolate soufflé, it was a real treat. The gentlemen at the door were super nice and personable. Very helpful and gracious!

The room was a bit small, but still luxe! The turndown service was great...as were the robes and slippers. All what you'd expect from an establishment of this caliber....but... We called down to the front desk our last night to check the times for dinner and was told 9. We hopped on the elevator and found our way to the host stand by 9:03pm and our party of two was turned away by a female host who said the last seating was at 9pm. So we went to Old Ebbits, which was walkable and awesome! The oysters were unbelievably good and the staff was very accommodating!

I like everything, especially the staff. They are very friendly, polite, and professional. They know exactly what their guests need.The location is excellent, and the room is comfortable and cozy.

The location was superb for walking or the metro. The staff were welcoming every time you saw them and wished you a pleasant day. The room was comfortable and well equipped plus stunning.
