The hotel facilities were lovely.

The staff was supercilious, not especially helpful with simple requests for information. With the exception of one kind lady, I witnessed a number of disappointing encounters. I train visitor service teams, so these issues were glaring to me. For example, the door man watched a woman struggle a couple of minutes before helping. I had the wrong number for the valet stand and i asked the desk staff if it was possible for them to call. They looked at each other and said no, without offering any additional information or options. The older lady working the desk kindly walked me to the valet stand.

During my business visit, I stayed at a wonderful 5-star hotel that exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect, offering easy access to all major business centers and attractions. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of fresh and high-quality options. The staff were extremely helpful and professional, always ready to assist with any request. The room was spotless, very comfortable, and provided a relaxing atmosphere after a busy day.

Comfortable room

I loved the attention from the staff. All the staff are professional and friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay feel extra special. My room was just right for 2 people, it had enough space to move around. The breakfast was superb. I got it delivered to my room. I ordered Edgar in bed every day. I also ate lunch in the restaurant almost every day. I used the business center once, it's okay, you get 30 minutes. This is a wonderful location. Theres lots to do. You can walk to major tourist attractions or take the metro. You're right in the heart of the city.

I didn't like that I had to leave. This was a wonderful stay, I have no complaints about the Mayflower and highly recommend to anyone who wants to visit.

We had a great family vacation seeing the sights of DC! This hotel is such a great location, our kids scootered everywhere which they loved! Great bar / restaurant in the lobby and nice rooms. Highly recommend

The staff were very pleasant

I stayed about 10 yrs ago. It was much better then. I found the hotel not as clean when you entered the building. For the amount spent, there were no slippers or robe. Room service was a bag of your food that you ordered. The food was not hot at all. When you go on vacation, you want to feel like a vip. I'm disappointed 😞

When ordered room service, had positive contact with staff. Had positive interactions with all staff members..They were very helpful! Great customer service/support!!! The stay was great experience!!! Love historic buildings & its architectural & murals, well maintained, job well done!!! Thank you for great service! Suggestion, may want to consider including transportation, for those not familiar with areas!!!

offer options for various transportations, be bus passes or options of trolley for more than couple of rides..why not sell or offer passes of various transportation options (tour passes.) I would pay extra..Many people Love going site-seeing or out in town for adventures!!! After all, people’s city to be explored & enjoyed!!! Once again Thank you for great service!!!

Great location for seeing the sights in DC. Hotel was pretty quiet.

There was a daily hotel fee we were not told about until arriving. The price of valet parking is not provided until check in. We were not given the paperwork for complimentary tours on check in. Worst of all, we went to the restaurant our first night and were ignored by the staff so we left.

- Location was perfect for exploring Washington - Beautifull historic hotel - Food quality and drinks were excellent - Bell and Concierge Service were extremely friendly and helpfull

- Aircondition in the room was very loud - Restaurant host and check-im desk were no match to concierge an bell service. There is definitely improvemenr potential.

Wonderful hotel in a great location. It is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Rooms were great and the hotel lobby was amazing. When we were there, a wedding reception was taking place in one of the ballrooms and it was such a neat experience to see everyone having such an amazing time.
